I'm updating my review and bumping them down to 4 stars. I was very satisfied with my initial experience with them, and the value is great. During the time I was getting insurance through these guys (I'd say about 1.5 years) I enjoyed a great rate. I also was paying for my little sister's insurance, but when she turned 18 I told her she needed to start paying for he own. When she got insurance, I tried cancelling the policy, but kept getting transferred around. Finally, I was told to email Sandra with a cancellation request. Sent email to Sandra, but never got a response. Policy ended up getting cancelled due to nonpayment ... no big deal. Then I started getting voicemails and texts from people calling me by my little sister's name asking me to reup my insurance with them. I had to call back and respond to a couple of texts before the calls and texts actually stopped. When my driving record improved I was able to get insured through MetLife at a discount and the prices were pretty comparable to what I was paying already, so I decided to switch over. After cancelling my own policy, now I get calls from Rapid Insurance Services that I don't answer, they don't leave voicemails. I get calls about once a week ... Not sure what they have to say, but that's a little fishy. Anyway, I really appreciate Rapid Insurance because when I was in a bad place and trying to get back on my feet, they were able to insure me, they worked very quickly and what I was paying was great compared to what I would've been paying at other places. So if you don't have a good driving record and you are not happy with what you're paying in insurance, I would still recommend this place. But beyond my initial experience with them, the customer service I received was more of a "you get what you pay for" type situation. read more

This company hands on have exceeded my expectations of an auto insurance company. I received not only a better rate than my previous insurance rate, but the high level of customer service. I was a client with this company for 3 years. I purchased a new car and tried to get a hold of my agent - William and never got back to me to give me a quote on my new vehicle. I tried being patient, so I waited a few more days to get a call or text back after he sent me, "I'm busy. I will call later" and NEVER got a callback or even a text after I sent him pictures of the new car details and all the info that he'd need, but he just never replied and I still don't know why? They may seem willing to help you at first, but after that they're over it. It's obvious they're just in it for the money. -5 stars. read more

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money on this company. I was in a tight spot when I found them and I regret choosing them as my insurance. Everything was fine until I got into an accident. First off, they do not provide a rental car which I was ok with since my rate was so low. But you get what you pay for. I am now sitting in limbo waiting for my car to be repaired paying for week 3 of a rental car because they will not approve the revised estimate of my car. They want the auto shop to REPLACE not REPAIR certain parts of my car even though it is a SAFETY ISSUE. Also, after 6 months they raised my premium $50, their only reasoning being that I was driving too much? Even though my mileage hasn't gone up significantly. I'm reporting them to the BBB and I would highly recommend STAY AWAY from this company. You'll regret it if you actually get into an accident. read more

Albert was really professional. He knew everything of what was going on with my policy with Farmers even before I told him. My record is kinda messed up. When getting insured I went directly with Farmers and ended up paying 270 a month. I thought Farmers was one of the best ones so no one would be able to give me anything lower. I input my info online for an online game and I received a call from them. Ended up getting insured with 120 a month with the same coverage. The had a lots of options for me and I chose the best one that fit me. I paid a little extra up front, but with the savings that I got I would pay it again. read more

Cyan Rodriguez and his underwriter, Astrid Arias, were life savers!!! My wife and I have been pulling our hair out trying to find car insurance that was affordable, I was about to give up and leave the SUV parked uninsured because insurance for it was $325 per month. Yes, $325 per month!!!!! So one last shot with another online insurance company was a failure! But then, I received a text message from this company, Rapid Insurance, Cyan was assigned to my whole entire ordeal. I was a difficult customer because I had a lot going on and wasn't able to talk on the phone. He was great! I was able to text almost the entire process! I sent him pictures of my last policies and drivers license information etc. he worked with me and figured it out, he figured out a policy that was fitting to each vehicle and driver so well, he saved me $124.00 per MONTH! Yes, I am a happy customer, he was patient, knowledgeable, informative and assertive! I wasn't able to start the policy right away because the down payment was out of my range but he didn't pressure me and didn't push in any way, his underwriter was prompt and on it and once I made the down payment I had proof of insurance in just minutes. Please, do yourself a favor and leisurely text this man and let him get it work for you on your terms and times! My wife just got in an accident and our rates were going to be 210 a month I called rapid insurance and with the accident it's $102.14 my only concern is or they are reputable company and will they take care of us if something happens plus why I was talking to a customer service agent Diana it sounded like a party in the background people laughing and giggling not a business but I will put up with that for $100 a month. read more

The company is using illegal marketing tactics such as email, telemarketing, and text messages. We have never received that many calls and texts from any marketer. These come from multiple phone numbers. We have requested to be removed several times. The most recent messages now include overpriced quotes with prices that are absolutely ridiculous. I belive they purchased some old data and don't have any opt-in. We have contacted our attorney and he is looking into filing against the company in federal court. read more

I moved to LA three years ago and never in my life have I had to deal with more ticket issues! Clearly this is how The City of LA makes money! I got two automated red light tickets on the same light in Beverly Hills about a year apart : ( I was in grid lock and sure enough the camera snapped my pic! There is almost no way to fight these tickets and I had to pay over $1,000.00 for them both. The judge told me I could go to driving school and it would not effect my driving record. Boy was she wrong! Within six months my Insurance rates went from 72.00 per month to 174.00 per month. I was with that national company, you know the one....Flo!! I called them and they did not want to help me at all. I was searching online and filled out a quote request and within minutes, Roger L. from Rapid was calling my phone. He was smart, precise and very patient; listening to my story and my deep frustration. I only drive three blocks to work and I drive a stripped down '97 jeep wrangler with no frills...it's worth almost nothing, but I love it! It wasn't worth paying over 2000.00 a year for insurance on that! Within minutes Roger was able to put me on the phone with an underwriter who got me my same exact coverage for 72.00 per month! I gave a small deposit over the phone and almost instantly received all of my paperwork, contract and insurance cards via e-mail. I cannot say enough about Roger L. and Rapid Insurance. If you need insurance they put me with a great reputable company that doesn't spend billions in TV advertising, but they give you great coverage at a super fair price. She has since then been harassing me non stop via text and will not stop texting. It was so bad that I called the company to let them know. When she continued to text, I called again. Well considering how unprofessional Alessa is, I shouldn't have expected anything less from the rest of the staff. I recently left another insurance for my auto insurance due to a price hike that I thought was unfair. I reached out to several local firm before I was fortunate enough to be connected with Ms. Jasmin Hurtado. Not only was she friendly and easy to work with, but most importantly she was well informed and by far the most knowledgeable office that I had worked with. Ms. Jasmin Hurtado was able to find me a auto policy that fit my budget, but they were able to bundle several other of my insurance policies to save me a boat load of money. Its nice come across a firm that is trying to save you money as apposed to attempting to squeeze you for every penny. No one likes shopping for insurance and quite frankly before this experience I felt that insurance salesmen were tough to deal with, but I now feel I have a go-to firm for all my future insurance needs.
