So, I just had to fix the work that he performed about 5 years ago. I would not recommend this company. They over charge and the quality...well it needed re-done. If you need a good plumber, please consider Gap Plumbing (Wilson is busy, but does great work at a good price). Rapid Action Rooter, on the other hand, charges an exorbitant fee. (I take responsibility for not getting a second opinion, because he was very convincing and confident in his ability, and I was in a rush to fix the overflowing toilets). Rapid Action Rooter does have a great response time (better than most). My repair needed trench digging and pipes replaced. Unfortunately, Rapid Action Rooter used cheap rubber bands for connections, cut the connections too short, and didn't support the connections, which led to the leaking now. The repair even appeared to be placed backwards with connections and adaptions that created leaks later. read more

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. Extremely unprofessional. We have a toilet that needed a replacement part and it took constant calling to get updates. He told me he ordered the part a week ago and it would take 5 days. Then he texted me a few days later saying "Hey, we're still waiting on your payment" and I said what do you mean? You never told me you were waiting on us then he said he sent that to the wrong person. WELL I texted 6 days after the part was ordered for an update and called - he said he'd get back to me. He didnt, so I called again two days later. He was beyond rude. Nasty to me when I asked for the tracking number and order date/order number. I was trying to help check the status and what do you know, it hadn't even shipped yet and he refused to show me the order info showing when he placed the order. Clearly you didn't order it when you said you did and are pissed at me?? Even if you did, why not let me order the part myself like I offered? He wouldn't even tell me the part number so I could order it myself or look into it. He just said "go find someone else". What a waste of time and $$$! DO NOT RECOMMEND. If I could give Mandel and his team a 10-star rating I would. First, when they say open 24/7, they're really open. During the tiny bit of rain we got on Saturday our mainline began backing up into the master bathroom. Mandel showed up on a Saturday evening - and not at a double or triple fee pricing! We have a very complicated sewer line so he ran his camera through all three areas and found the initial issue and immediately got the blockage cleared out, but he found a second more serious blockage all the way down to the city sewer line. He showed me the entire pipeline on his camera - not some crappy camera that you can't tell what the heck you're looking at, but crystal clear color. Our mainline was cracked in several places all the way to below the street and overtaken by roots. This was a very scary situation because if the pipe collapsed under the city street, we were gonna be in a heap of trouble and have to take out a second mortgage for that type of repair-no less than $40K when digging up a city street. He laid out the plan, walked me through every step: Dig up the section of the driveway where the trap was (four feet down), HydroJet out ALL of the roots, then sleeve the pipe all the way to the city mainline and replace the trap with a proper three-way trap. His crew showed up at 8AM sharp to begin work and didn't stop until the job was complete-including re-cementing the area they had to dig through. His team didn't finish until 7P. It was unbelievable that they finished this entire project in one day. Our next door neighbors had to go through the same process a month ago and that company was there for four days, and for the next two weeks I saw the company truck returning - so, obviously problems were still happening. Doing this type of major work never comes cheap, and as Mandel told me: "I'm not the cheapest, but I'm not the most expensive, we give a fair price and do the job better than any other company - and he was 100% correct. I will never hire another plumber and will recommend Mandel and his team to everyone I know. HIGHLY, highly recommend Rapid Action Rooter for your plumbing needs. read more

Mandel and his team completely came to the rescue when our our sewage pipeline backed up and began leaking raw sewage out of our toilet and shower drain. Needless to say, it was a very gross situation and Mandel and his team was able to fix the problem within 24 hours! Responded quickly. Scheduled promptly. When I flushed the toilet, it was slow to drain, and the water level was extremely low in the bowl. Mandel sent two service guys. They were here less than 30 minutes they indicated that the problem was likely in the main line and would need another appointment to come back and remove the toilet. When they finished the water level in the toilet was close to overflowing the bowl. They charged me $200 and left my toilet in worse shape than before I called them. He snaked multiple times to make sure we weren't left with a slow drain again. Our very old pipes meant this wasn't an easy (and cheaper) unscrew and fast fix. Have some old towels and things to catch gross water ready. Slight confusion over estimated price and actual delivery but well within what I was seeing online. The initial response time was great in regards to sending photographic evidence. I received a call shortly after explaining the issue and he was spot on actually. He told me he will see when one of his guys are available to come out and I let him know, we'll see what the issue is once they come out. 2 days later and never received a call back or any correspondence. I wanted so badly to support black. The pricing for the small job was very reasonable. I actually got another company to come out pretty quickly and the big job that Rapid Action called correctly over the phone was quoted a few hundred cheaper. Maybe in the future for smaller jobs we'll try again. The reviews brought me here. Thanks tho! Update: I feel a bit uneasy about this company having my address now. I found them on yelp. I had a sewage blockage problem and called them on Monday morning. To my great surprise an actual person answer the phone. I described the problem and told him I needed somebody out immediately. They said they would have someone out in an hour, and actually did! He ran a camera and showed me the actual problem and recommended a new pipe lining be installed inside the old broken pipe. We agreed on a price and he had his crew out immediately. They worked hard all the way into the evening hours. In the end they showed me the camera view of the new pipe lining so I can see that it went all the way to the city sewer. Our main sewer line was clogged due to a city-planted tree's roots entering the pipe, causing every drain in our home to stop working. This happened late at night, so I started calling plumbers and reached Mandel at Rapid Action Rooter. Mandel sent out a crew right away and they quickly hydro-jetted our sewer line. His crew were professional and efficient, and so we then hired them to re-line our sewer line. The crew arrived on time and consistently communicated the process with me, showing me the roots that were present in the pipe and how they went about relining the pipe.
