I had a leak in my refrigerator and the waterline that the refrigerator technician that came out earlier couldn't fix. We wanted to shut off the waterline so we called Mandel to come out a shut off valve on the waterline so the water would stop leaking until we buy a new fridge. He was able to help send a technician to fix it within a couple of hours and gave me a discount on his regular price. The technician he sent, Pat, is also great. Fantastic service from this company. This was my first time calling Rapid Action Rooter as I had an emergency and required hydro jetting. I spoke with the owner Mandel over the phone, he was really great and talked me through the options regarding my situation. Within an hour, he had a member of his team Luis at my house. Luis began to troubleshoot and looked into the other areas where it could have been blocked. It turned out that the blockage was from the rear of the house. No other companies I've used before bothered to check this and just did the service by putting on a temporary bandaid. Luis was very friendly and polite and explained to me the issues, and showing me on the camera. He went above and beyond in investigating and fixing the issue. We had a drainage issue on a Saturday night at a home we were visiting in North Torrance. All drains were clogged indicating a problem in the main line. Sunday morning I got on Yelp and requested for quotes and several replied right away. Mandel texted me to call and we were able to arrange Anthony to come over within 1.5 hours. Anthony took his time to check all the symptoms and situation and explained clearly what we needed to do and that it was a temporary solution. It all made sense since we've had to have rooter service a couple of times in the past few years. He got it all cleared quickly. We were beyond impressed with Rapid Action's entire team. From the time it took to come out to the way they solved our problem, it was faster, cheaper, and a lot less disruptive than our usual plumber would have done. The plumber we've been using for years told us that our slow toilet and sinks required ripping out our garage ceiling and possibly part of the stucco building exterior in order to replumb a portion of the plumbing. They removed the toilet and their camera stopped at the first blockage, stopped work, and gave us the bad news. Instead of signing on to the repair, we tried Rapid Action and they not only cleared that blockage, they kept going with the camera and cleared two more blockages further down the line (for a total of 50 ft of coverage, right up to the street connection). We had problems with our water heater and Rapid Action Rooter was able to come out to look at it the same day. Suggested we replace it as it was over 8 years old, I confirmed with a friend that does this in another state that replacing is better than fixing piece by piece at 8 years old. Mandel came out the next day with a new water heater and installed it all at a reasonable price. Service was great, hot water is now great. Had an issue replacing the cartridge in my shower handle, everything was stuck and I couldn't get it out myself. Mandel came out and was able to get it out with some work. Lots of hardwater build up. Got the new cartridge installed, water is even hotter the way my wife likes it. He suggested a soft water system, we are considering our options now. I called Mandel of RAC and they were able to arrive at our house in a few hours. Mandel and his team were great -- they had shoe covers ready and they wore gloves (I really hate when workers don't wear gloves and they leave their prints on everything because their hands are typically dirty!). They snaked the pipes and sealed the tub since it wasn't sealed originally. They even did a great job cleaning after themselves so the bathroom looked almost spotless. Great service and work, rapid response, reasonable, trustworthy, utterly professional. Mandel and his team came to my house today within 30 min of me calling them for a main line sewer backup. It was Friday night before Memorial Day weekend and he showed up with two other guys trying to fix it. After 1.5 hours they determined they'd need another tool and said they'd come back the next day on Saturday. He refused any payment saying they hadn't fixed anything yet. The next day he came in the morning and figured out what was blocking the line. They needed to break concrete and replace a pipe in my garage. He called some other guys who showed up within the hour and spent the next 10 hours fixing the problem. It was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and his guys did clean outstanding work.
