This review has been a long time coming and we are sorry it has taken us this long to remember to write it. We had a home inspection done by Brandon Feltner in January 2022 for a home we had an accepted offer on. Everything with Brandon was smooth and flawless from scheduling the appointment, to the time it took between scheduling and the appointment day itself, to receiving the report. Everything was done and completed within less than a week, and this was during the New Year holiday. Brandon was extremely thorough in his inspection of our potential home and his inspection report was one of the most user-friendly, easy to read, and thorough inspection reports I have ever seen. My husband and I were present at the home during the inspection and Brandon answered all of our questions along the way, never once making us feel like we were bothersome or keeping him from his work. He was patient, kind, and explained everything to us in detail; this same patience and thoroughness continued even after he had sent us the inspection report. We had additional questions/concerns/etc., and Brandon answered every single one of them - and what really impressed us was that he gave thorough and detailed answers in his email as well... mind you, this was after he was done with his inspection and sending the report, where we feel most others would have tried to give short answers and be done with the "job." We ended up not going with that home for reasons unrelated to the inspection and are currently in the process of searching again. There are a lot of "trade secrets" when it comes to construction and code, but Brandon is very eager to explain and elaborate on the real consequences of overlooking potential issues that might come back in the future. My experience with Ranger Home Inspection was exceptional!  In today's COVID market, there's no guarantee of a perfect schedule but these guys were responsive and SUPER flexible.  Brandon answered all of my questions prior to the inspection and provided an honest and thorough assessment to help manage my expectations.  He will not just take your money if he knows that he can't provide you with a thorough and complete report--that's rare with today's housing market. I'm conservative with Yelp ratings because as someone who reads them I want to trust they aren't skewed, but Brandon really gets 5 stars. I haven't experienced customer satisfaction like this with a business in a long time. Brandon's thoroughness, attention to detail, organization and approach to this sometimes contentious process is above all others. I am single and from California and he was such an amazing advocate for how to help me navigate required fixes with a very unwilling builder. Brandon cares about his customers and that they receive a final product that is sound meets all of the highest standards. His approach was excellent. After he conducted the inspection, he assisted me in categorizing each fix into a P1, P2 and P3 level issues. As someone who knows next to nothing about houses, this allowed me to fully understand what each fix was and their criticality so I knew what to hold firm with during my conversations with the builder. This approach and the excellent layout of his report allowed these difficult conversations to go much more smoothly and with a more directed effort. Brandon is not only excellent at what he does, but really cares about his customers happiness and is willing to spend whatever time it takes to ensure one is clear on all the findings and how to push for their resolution.
