Trust me when I say you will not find a satisfying cheesesteak anywhere except at this exact Randys location. I am honestly obsessed. My partner and I get a cheesesteak at least once a week here for 6 months now. Everyone we make try and get one from here also agree and this is coming from someone who has tried a cheesesteak from most places who sell it. It is even still good when you get it on ubereats, which we do most the time. Get this exact order: 12 inch cheesesteak with sautéed onions, mayo, cheese, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. Then say/add extra cheese!! Make sure it is american cheese. They use the white american cheese not the yellow one as they should for a cheesesteak. We also ask for the bread to be not toasted. Also if the 12 inch is too big for you then still get it anyways and save the rest for later when you realize how much you love it because they use a thicker and different bread on their 8 inch. Their pizza is also delicious and you can get half and half pies if you can't decide. Enjoy! Don't look at the pictures just get it.

Tired of being ripped off. Charged for mozzarella sticks yet they were not in the take out bag.

They have packages of napkins and utensils, available near the door, and also complementary water on the inside while you're in line there. All the orders are to go, but they do have a couple picnic tables just outside. I ordered two sandwiches, one hot and one cold. The cold one for tomorrow. Both of them had an asterisk beside them saying they were spicy, imagine that. I got a full size chopped cheese which comes in a hoagie roll. It was delicious and nicely spicy. Perfect for lunch and dinner. The cold sandwich I got was the roast turkey. It was very tasty too, I'm almost tempted to say I liked it better. Now that I've tasted their sandwiches I know why there was a line.

I was a bit surprise when my total came to $18, as my salad was only $14 but I guess I should have paid attention that my bottle of soda was over $3. How much are the fountain drinks, I wonder? I found us a table inside since it was a bit hot that day (there is also plenty of seating outside AND inside if you go downstairs). The table and floor were messy but someone quickly came to clean it for me. They called our names over the loudspeaker and my best friend went to go get our food. She got the MotherClucker. Our food was REALLY good. If you like Cobb salad, you will definitely like this one. The chicken was pan seared perfectly, the vinaigrette was perfectly tangy and the bleu cheese was especially excellent. My friend's chicken sandwich has SO MUCH chicken salad on it. Impressive. There was so many neat items to see in the place. The murals were great, there were some cute retail spaces, a coffee bar up front, a bar downstairs, and ice cream outside! Unfortunately my bestie and I had too much to talk about so we didn't check it out as much as I otherwise wood. I would definitely try this place again!

They make cookies, pastries, breads (pan loaf and hand-formed ones), soups, hand pies, and sandwiches. The variety is amazing. During the holiday season, they offer larger pies and have various seasonal goods to offer. But what's also wonderful is this bakery gives back to the community in many ways. During the height of the pandemic, they offered free bagged lunch to anyone who needed one. They also were (are?) part of the pilot project for Durham's guaranteed income. It looks to me that the owners/company are concerned about being good citizens of the community and that's a great thing. These days, so many companies get bought out by private equity companies. I hope this bakery continues to be locally owned and operated! (Also, generally this bakery isn't offering the very fancy European/European-ish style pastries which is fine by me. The prices are very reasonable, possibly in part because they aren't trying to make their baked goods a "high end" item. There are other good local bakeries that offer "high end" pastries, but they are also much less affordable and for my taste, too rich.)
