This review is literally way overdue! As a 19 year old with no credit I bought an used 1989 Ford Escort Gt from Randy's Auto Sales . I bought the vehicle in 1992 ( yes 30 years ago) shortly after I bought the vehicle it started leaking a Good amount of Oil . While having the oil leak repaired my mechanic mentioned to me that the electric fan was wired incorrectly, fan was constantly on . I remember Randy's Auto Sales mechanics working on the fan right before I took delivery of the vehicle! Shortly after fixing the leak the vehicle would not start turns out the car needed the heads rebuilt! The vehicle struggled going up hill , this car was nothing but trouble ended up junking the vehicle in 1995. To be fair the vehicle had close to 100,000 miles when I purchased it , I primarily blame FORD for this terrible design and engineering of this vehicle! I believe I paid $4900 for the vehicle, quite some money in 1992. Watch out for mike. He's like a dog, he'll smile and show his teeth before he bites you. I purchased a vehicle from Randy's and secured my own financing. Because it was a Saturday mike told me to sign the docs with them so it was legal for me to leave with the car and he would have his bank contact me Monday. Monday came and his bank contacted me and had offered me a rate 1/2 point higher than my credit union so I opted for my credit union. Here's where I get screwed. Mike says he sent the title in to Sacramento so we would have to now wait till the title comes in to finish the financing with my bank. He assured me he would call me, which he didn't of course. Three weeks later I checked in with his staff and the title was in. My bank contacted him and he gave them the loan amount $650 higher than my purchase. I came in to clarify this with him and he said there is nothing he could do??? You see Randys (Mike) listed themselves as the finance company while making me wait for the title and charged me $650 in interest for 3 weeks that passed while waiting for the title he sent off to come back. Then refused to correct this scam. This is so incredibly shady and bad faith business that my credit union has put Randy's on their caution list to warn other buyers that bank there. Beware he will bilk you for every penny he can. He stole my money, hopefully he doesn't steal yours! read more

Extremely unfriendly and lied to me about the car I wanted to come see. Called ahead of time and asked about damage to a Chevy Spark at this lot so I wouldn't waste 1 hour driving there... asked clearly if there was little to severe damage and he told me there was none at all on exterior/interior. I get to the dealership and the car has severe scratching inside and out, sun damage all over the top of the car, and the rims on the wheels had some suspect paint all over them... nothing like the photos online. I would advise to not do business here. Edit for the response I got: I asked a direct question and was told an outright lie. The photos of the car I saw online were NOT the car I drove out to see. They sold me a lemon!! Worse car I've ever had in my life I'm so disappointed. apparently it was in many accidents and they failed to disclose that. The vehicle appears to have frame damage so must be salvage idk none of that was disclosed. I was involved in a fender bender recently and the shop that was fixing my car showed me that the vehicle does not have even airbags!!!! Unfortunately I can't afford to get any other vehicle / trade in value is ridiculously low compared to what I owe so I am stuck with it. When I first test drove there was a small noise which with time has become very loud. I am paying premium price for a bucket. I wish I would've never bought this car. After randy saw some honest and poor reviews about his business, he decided to have 5 of his arab friends post a bunch of obviously fake 5 star reviews. And really, that just sums up their work ethic here. He might extend a line of credit to ppl with a bad credit history but he will not give you a good deal. I regret ever buying a car from these guys, they sold it to me at a price higher than its blue book value and as I found it over the next year, They lied to my face about its condition and had replaced many parts including the brake pads with old generic chinese replacement parts. I would give less than 1 star if I could. I bought my car here and put $7000 over half down. They charged me 50% interest. They ended up taking my car when I had 6 months of payments because of late fees. Apparently I had $1000 in late fee accrued over the 3.5 years I had my car. They wouldn't accept the money due they wanted almost $2000 and for me to resign another lease for the remaining $1000 I owed which was all interest. So they wanted me to pay interest on my interest. They basically ripped me off for $14,000 I had paid towards the car. read more

They say we have to go to the dmv and get them. That's a nightmare in itself! They have our tags and now they say we owe them for registration. This after almost 3 months. I read the yelp reviews and was really excited to stop by n see what they had. We got there and looked around we were really happy with the prices we saw!! So we hunted down someone that worker there (which I found odd, normally sales people are on you like a fly on s*** at a dealership). Once we found someone they couldn't help us so they sent someone else to go find someone to help us. Finally someone came out to help us. I was really surprised, this guy gave off a bad vibe from the get go. He wasn't very personable at all. Actually he was rude. We started to explain the perdiciment we are in and he was like "okay well we do require at least a $3500,00 deposite to even begin or u could come.back with a co-signer" we then tried to explain how me being laid off n going to a one income home for a while effected our credit... when we were cut off by him saying repeating "ur credit no good I can't help more " I won't ever refer here... sucks. read more

This dealership is the worst I've seen I bought a 2013 Nissan Versa on April 2 ,2020 and gave them a $1700 for down payment. While I test drove it it smelled like their was dead body in the car and it would get detailed all the did was wipe it down with Lysol and the smell can back that night.The next day the check engine light turns on i go back and the salesperson just turns off the sensor doesn't even really look into it. Two day later check engine light turns on but they are closed on Sunday. The next day on April 6th on my way to the dealership the car turns off while I'm driving on the freeway the wheel gets stiff and luckily I was able to get it on the side of the freeway I waited an hour and was able to get it back to the dealership but on the way the whole car shook. Finally I get the car to the dealership to return the car and I had already told them that what happened and that the car was not safe. Instead of understanding the situation I was called a liar by Mark the salesperson and that I just wanted to return the car and that I was making up the car malfunction. I told him just give me a refund minus the transfer fee which was $239 and enough for a full tank. After going back and forth with the "owner" Mike I was taken to the office and was told that they would only refund $900 of the $1700 down payment I made. So I took the lose just so I don't have to deal with this shady dealership. Now whatever the dealership reply's to my comment I'm means nothing and I mean nothing can be replied to make up getting ripped off on my refund again I take responsibility for the transfer fee and gas but the remaining $600 or so that was kept was shady. The reason the want a big down payment is if you change your mind and you want a refund they can rip you off on you down payment. The only reason this place is still in business is because of the in house financing which I admit it's a good deal but not when the care is about to break down on you read more

One star is being KIND! Originally we thought this place treated us like family, boy were we wrong, we were just suckers! (like many southern ca families we were hit hard by the economy crash, we unfortunately needed a car quick and purchased a Lemon from Randy's in 2011, we put over $4K down for a $14000 purchase, this $4K is for THEM... doesn't go towards the purchase price... and we put thousands of $ into the car to take care of it and make it run better, we brought it to randy's a few of the times that it needed work, because they will do work for CHEAP, but the work is done cheaply and with old parts... we then were in a better financial place and purchased a second car from them a year after the first car we bought... it was a nice car, looked pretty, needed a few things, I actually took it too a dealer and found it had some recalls and Infinity took care of them for free for me... we unfortunately went through a rough patch financially again after our baby was born and had to let the first car we bought go and did a voluntary repo and kept the 2nd car... Right now actually our finances are just starting to improve and we were planning on going back to get another car and square up with them on the repo... when my car took a shit on me, and the city took it out of the lot it died in before I could tow it to them (because they are closed Sundays). I called them to ask them if they could pay to get it out of the tow yard because I was between checks at the time and didn't want Excessive fees being added to the tow... They said they'd get it for me and did... With me understanding that we would reimburse them for the fees and make a car payment... we were just 7 days late for our current payment and $120 behind for the last month payment... nothing to "repo" over... They repossessed my car saying the payment was a DAY late so they had a right to repossess it!!! WTF?!?! Really?!?! Ok... Well it's war now... I will make sure your company name is smeared all over the internet and that anyone who thinks of doing business with you thinks twice... We were loyal and referred people to you several times and your gonna treat us like shit?!!! Screw you Mark! I know that Zeak and Christie are honest good people... I hope Christie finds a job at a more honest company that doesn't treat people like this... NOT once did she say to me, "if we get your car for you, it will be considered a REPO"... otherwise I would have just borrowed the money from a friend the next day... Mark is a thief! Be ware if you want a car that's reliable, don't go here!!! If you work hard for your money, Don't go here... if you value yourself and your self respect, go to Cal Worthington or something! I bought two cars from them and at first they were great. But their communication is horrible! I'd call the office, get voicemail, leave a message and no return call. I'd email then get a message saying to call the office. It's a scam place and never recommend them to anyone. The last car I bought was a BMW 5 series, they bought it as a lemon law buy back and assured me there were no problems. Within the first month it was in the shop for 3wks for exhaust issues, then sunroof problems with in the end a motor replacement. I notified them of these problems and told them I hired a lemon law attorney. When I was going through a divorce and trying to make my payments on my own, they picked up my car even after I'd called the office to let them know I was going to be a few days late. Don't trust the office personnel they are not honest!
