Claudia is an amazing seamstress. Everything she does always comes out perfect! Prices are great and she'll always accommodate my last minute requests. I recommend her to other people whenever I have the opportunity. She's great! I highly recommend! read more

Whenever I visit, she seems bothered and doesn't seem eager to help, rather makes you feel like you're a nuisance.

Horrible basic business. This woman is rude and clearly doesn't want your business!! Keep it up!! I guess these reviews don't really matter when you are out of business. read more

Claudia is the best and this is the best spot in town as far as tailors go. Been a customer for years and wouldn't trust anyone else with my clothes. read more

2 Complaints: Alteration of women's dressy black top & matching pants. Charged twice for top alteration. I left tag w/# in my car. She said I didn't need it to pay & pickup the top. I paid $9 cash (they do not accept credit cards). No receipt was given. I also left the matching pants to be hemmed. When I picked up pants she said I didn't pay for the top and owed $9. She was yelling, out of control behavior. I had to pay her for the top again & pay for the pants. When I asked for a receipt she was furious, slamming things etc. The pants were ruined too. The matching dressy pants - hem top-stitched like jeans, instead of blind stitching. Hem uneven, puckered, skipped stitches. If remove stitching the holes are permanent. read more

I should have read the reviews before taking my business to this establishment. Interestingly, my mother always came to this tailor to get our pieces altered years ago. However, today I came in with my 11 month old to see if my baby's birthday dress could be altered. After asking if she could make the straps shorter and the bust smaller, the older women (I believe her name is Claudia) didn't answer my question and instead started yelling that she couldn't tell what needed to be done on the dress. She was also confused on whether the dress had a zipper or not. I preceded to explain to her that I could put the dress on my daughter to show her the areas that needed to be taken in, but I was already very uncomfortable and decided to leave. Overall, I was honestly shocked at how disrespectful and unprofessional this person was. read more

Tried having my curtains made here for my RV travel trailer, the lady was out to lunch and when she returned she seemed like she had a bad attitude and refused to make them for me, then she called me a stupid idiot, I told me to get out. Anybody that rude going to get Yelp by me, do not give her your business. read more

Rancho Tailors - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Murrieta, California

That's I can say is she's very rude and disrespectful. Definitely seemed bothered that I was interrupting her eating time. I started the conversation by saying Hi, I'm here to pick up a pair of pants please. Then she comes up front and says: Which one? I then tell her my name and also point to them. Then she gives them to me and walks back to her food. read more

Recently visited Rancho Tailors and was highly displeased with the service. The woman elderly woman ( assuming she's the owner) was extremely rude. I realized this was her personality and she clearly was making a conscious choice to be this way. I was referred to her from the cleaners that lost their tailor. Never again will I patronize a business that doesn't value customer service. I should have read the reviews beforehand. Welp, like I said... NEVER AGAIN. read more

Speedy tailoring, the lady who works here always does an amazing job. My family has come here ever since I can remember from prom dresses to tshirts and hemming jeans her work is precise and always very well done. Also great pricing! read more

Claudia's talented tailoring far outweighs her personality, but then it's her exemplary tailoring I'm after for the 'professional' jacket with the broken metal zipper. The long, heavy duty zipped had together ordered which took an extra week, but turned out beautifully. She's a very busy lady so maybe her aloof and chilly welcome to her shop is understood. I certainly will return for any tailoring needed. Thus, only a five-star will do! read more

I love this place! It's difficult to find a good tailor and Claudia is lovely and so highly skilled! She does an amazing job and makes one feel so welcome - like going to "mom's." The prices are very affordable! Wouldn't go anywhere else - being coming here for 5+ yrs! read more

Thought I'd even out the score a little.. Claudia is the Best tailor in town! Personality is lacking, has a very harsh tone, but is straight forward, quick turnarounds, affordable, and very talented. Cash only, and she might leave early so make sure you pick up on time!! Been going to her for years, she does tick off some people but it's her older Russian personality, don't take it personally, my teenage daughter can handle her, you can too lol read more

Claudia the owner is awesome!!! She has been highly recommended by the Catwalk in Temecula. We dropped off our daughters wedding dress with her and explained that the alterations girl at the store we bought it from said it needed $1200 of alterations!!! Claudia assured us it only needed a few nips and tucks the cost was practically nothing! She also replaced the zipper on my dress to perfection. Not only did she do a perfect job but she also helped us with suggestions on our daughters wedding veil. As stressful as wedding planning can be she was a huge help in assisting with suggestions, better alternatives and ways to save on some very expensive accessories. We could not be happier with her service and helpfulness. Tailors can be ridiculous on charges. She is more than fair and does amazing work. Don't hesitate to use her services. Thank you Claudia for doing such a great job and all your help! You're the best:))) read more

Claudia is the best! She knows what she is doing with her eye's closed. If you want it done right, go see her.

I have had our clothing mended and altered, by Claudia, for several years and have been very happy with her work as well as with her humor and honesty!! My daughter and I recently took her wedding dress in for alterations and she is charging us 2/3 less than David's Bridal and other competing tailors services had quoted to us and the turn around time is amazing! I talked w/Claudia about my potential outfit as Matron of Honor and Mother of the Bride, as I am trying to find a "happy medium" between both roles. I've decided to have her make an outfit for me and am looking forward to working with her!!! read more

I have been taking my alterations here for about 3 years. Her expertise is unrivaled, and her prices are very fair. I have never been disappointed in anything. I would definitely recommend this tailor over any other I have been to. read more

The owner is rough around the edges. She tells it how it is with a straight face. If you can handle that than you can handle the amazing job she will do on your alterations. I will always bring my clothing here for alterations to her. read more

Excellent Workmanship, Quality Tailoring, Friendly, and On Time !!! Claudia's been working on my clothes for s few years now and I have never been happier. I have a antique and vintage clothing store and my clothes require very delicate sewing. I never have to worry. read more

lady was rude for no reason towards me. felt like i was bugging her when i walked in. won't be coming back.

Just left the location after I came to see if my pants could be taken in. I've been here prior and had no issue but today I must have caught the owner on a bad day. She told me there was no way of taking the pants in after glancing at them for less than ten seconds. These are uniform pants which can be altered and are made to be altered. I did not wish to argue and left. She seemed like she had more orders to fulfill and just did not want to deal with another order. Taking my business elsewhere. Others here have also remarked about her rudeness and I see why now. read more

NO STARS FOR CLAUDIA! She's SO RUDE! I have put up with her attitude long enough! I came in frantic because my bridesmaid dress didn't fit... Got it back today... The hem she did is crooked and splitting, and the dress still doesn't fit right! DO NOT USE RANCHO TAILORS! Horrible service and a horrible job! read more

Wow! The owner lady has such an attitude. Saw that on Yelp, but thought maybe it was just a bad day thing. WRONG! We came here to hem some PJ bottoms since this place was $4 cheaper than places by our house. I asked when we could pick them up and she made some comment about opening at 9, so I can't come then, so come later. Sorry for asking, but usually places we go to tell us when to return to get the item. Very rude on the phone when I called to see what time they closed. Then we came in to pick the item up and my hubby asked to try them on. She said, "Really? You are going to try on pajamas?" Then she stormed off to the back. Then I asked to pay and she grunted "I don't take credit cards for $6." Again, I am sorry for thinking they would accept the card, as no signs were posted about a minimum charge and signs saying they accept them (hey I am even willing to pay 25 cents or something for the ability to pay there). This was our first time here and is now our last time. Good thing she is going on vacation and is closed for a month. Maybe her rude, eye rolling, and abrupt attitude, will change, but I doubt it. The hem job was ok though. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Here's my story: I went in on a Friday to get my uniform pants tailored for a new job I was starting the following Wednesday. She measured me and told me that there were a few things I could not get done because there was no way to do that (zipper/crotch was too long - needed to shorten). I asked when I could pick up and she said Tuesday. I then asked what time to make sure I do not come at a time when it would not be finished and she said ANYTIME! Today is now Tuesday, I go in to pick up at 9:15am (she opens at 9AM) and she tells me that she just got in and was GOING to work on them now. Then I reminded her that she said ANYTIME on Tuesday. So I asked her what time to pick up today and she says all day. She did not want to give me a specific time. I asked her to give me one and she went in the back to grab my pants and told me just to take them back because maybe someone else can do them better! BEYOND RUDE! Please DO NOT go to her. Her name is Claudia! ***I took my pants to Christine at NICE ALTERATIONS on Winchester Rd for same day service and she is fixing my long crotch problem!*** read more

I, unlike many of the other reviewers, appreciate Claudia's feisty attitude. When I needed some last minute alterations for my daughters bridesmaid dresses. I was very please to have a heavy accented feisty tailor on the other end of the line. Claudia is a NO-NONSENSE, GET THE JOB DONE type of person. If you're in need of someone to hold your hand and speak kindly to you, then she probably won't be a good tailor for you to use. However, if you want to have a seamstress that is going to do a quality job, in a timely manner, and at a very fair price; and that's all that matters to you, I would recommend Claudia. However if you're a softie that was raised coddled & protected from anything that may be deemed mildly offensive, then you may want to find someone else who will sugar coat their service for you (they'll probably charge you extra for that too). You've been warned! read more

Claudia took care of my order last Thurs. and not sure why but every communication appears to be an argument, poor service / attitude in just the few mins I'm there. I thought came at a really bad time or I upset her somehow but before writing this review I'm Shocked to see how many other people are running in this type of service. Wife went to pick up suit today (Monday) and she was rude to my wife and told her Cash Only. I figured wow we must have missed a "Cash Only" sign on window or something which many stores will at least have as a courtesy - I ended up going myself to pick up suit and no sign on window not even inside yet there is a sign which says "Will gladly accept payment in advance". Not even worth explaining argumentative attitude while picking up suit simply put not going back. Ultimately someone that can't even respect or appreciate their customers is not worth going back to - It will be very easy to find a better place to go for alterations. read more

I should have listened to Judy V's review. The owner is not friendly at all and actually very rude. My hubby went to pick up my dress today and asked for a reciept and Claudia the owner asked him what do you need a reciept for you have the dress. That is very rude! It will be my first and last time going there. She only gets two stars because she did fine with the dress but her attitude will not get her far. She just lost another customer be warned do not go here unless you don't care about friendly customer service!! read more

Worst costumer service I have EVER had. The lady in charge was beyond rude to me. I came in for a simple fix on my work shirt and she gave me extreme attitude. I don't recommend going here AT ALL. If I could give it no stars I would. read more

The owner (who is also the only tailor that works there) is a complete bitch. She makes snide comments & is very rude, loud and annoying. BUT I bring my stuff here cuz she does a good job on it. And she is cheap. So your choice. read more

Pretty much the rudest person I have ever encountered as a consumer. First of all, what business does not have basic debit card payments in 2016? Honestly. Second, if you have a sign that says " cash only WHEN card machine broken" , don't tell your customers " they should learn how to read " when they take their debit card out, and no notice or verbal info that the card machine ( that doesn't exist) is broken. After going to get cash and taking the dress, My wife tells this horrid person that she is quite rude and her sign is misleading. She then calls my wife a bitch and we exit. It's up to you, but I wouldn't give my money to a place that curses and insults the people trying to give them business. read more

So I've been here a few times because she does alterations on military uniforms and my husband needs his uniforms. Each time I've gone I always thought she was rude, this last time though over the top. She abruptly took the uniform top from my hands because I guess I was taking too long to hand it to her. She then rudely starts to tell me that she's done alterations on military uniforms for a long time simply because I wasn't 100 percent sure of the patch needed to be sewn on. Then she cops an attitude because she couldn't spell my name correctly. I don't care how long you've been in business this lady is the rudest tailor I've ever met met. read more

i think Claudia is the best tailor in town. She has saved my daughters wedding dress when we purchased a size that ended up being 3 sizes to small and she did an amazing job. This tailor was the place I would usually get my suits tailored, and she would do a pretty good job. Today however, was different. Out of no where the lady was very rude to me and treated me very badly. It's no way ever right to treat your customers badly. I'm coming to you and giving you business. You would want to treat customers very well. Don't give her business. Don't go to her. When she is having a bad day she will take it out on you. read more

Why is this place still open. It's been open for 10+ years and this woman is still so rude. There is a difference of being foreign and "straight forward" versus simply rude and nasty. My family is Hungarian I understand that personality and old school lifestyle (the owner is Russian) this here is not the case. There is no excuse to when it comes to owning a business and simple patience. Finally had it when I simply asked her why she didn't open at 9:00am like the sign says she opens and when the "closed" sign says she'll be back and I asked if everything was ok. She told me yes I just had an appointment I was here a little bit after 9. I responded and said my husband and I waited till 9:30 and there were four other people waiting and she goes so what's the problem? I told her I was just asking nicely that's all she said "you have a problem so what I had an appointment" and threw her hand up as in waving me off. I said woah I wa simply just asking maybe a sign on the front door saying you won't be open till later due to emergency would have been good since others were waiting too. She said "so what you got a problem that I had an appointment". This is where my patience was done so I told her you don't have to be so rude I was just making sure everything was ok with you no need for you to be rude. She then SCREAMED at me you know what get out. WHAT?! I'm just annoyed as an owner you can't keep your temper under control. When this is not the only issue she's had with customers. Oh boy I hope she gets what she deserves after this and reading other nasty experiences others has had with her. She isn't THAT cheap to get treated this way. Not okay I hope she changes her attitude because it's been years of her being rude. read more
