AMAZING COLOMBIAN FOOD! While visiting town I took my parents for Colombian food to this location. They absolutely loved it. We got there at night and we were seated at a table. They had a guy playing guitar and signing which was great. Alejandra, our server was sweet and very friendly, she was very helpful explaining things on the menu. Wow where to begin. Just left this disaster of a place for a quick 6 person fathers day lunch. Wait was only 30 min and we were called after 20-25 min so not bad. We sat down and a young man took our drink order and order for a PICANIA APPETIZER. He ended up not being our server and thats where things go south. He had told me they had mango mojito and I order it. When drinks come out my cousin's sprite was never brought out and my mojito was normal with no flavor. New waitress goes back to bar with the drink to fix it. Comes back and says they are out of mango flavoring, which the first guy should've known if they are communicating which coming from someone that currently works in the restaurant biz is a must to function. So I order a strawberry one. It's decent, a strawberry mojito can't expect much but nothing bad about it either. The entire almost 2 hours we are there the sprite never comes out. They had live music which was just a lady singing into a mic with background music and instruments through the speakers at blasting max volume. A little annoying when trying to speak to the people you came with. And we were sitting allll the way at the back of the restaurant. I feel truly horrible for the ones sitting at the front right next to the speakers. But anyways the lady comes back and we order our entrees and also remind her/let her know about our picana appetizer we put in with the first young man. Of course our entrees come out and the appetizer nowhere to be found. By the time we were finishing our entrees, about 20-25 min after entrees came out as well as 2 new tables sat by us got THEIR picana appetizers but we hadn't, our appetizer comes out. And a bigger portion than the original one we has asked for. It was supposed to be the 2-3 person one but they came out with the 4-6 person order since I'm assuming they saw we were 6 people and they didn't communicate with each other to figure out we originally ordered the 2-3 person order. At this point we are frustrated because that was supposed to be an app to pick at while we spoke with everyone and caught up. Our server also tried to put it on the table ans give it to us multiple times after we said we did not want it anymore since it was supposed to be an app before our entrees not after and never communicated with us about bringing it out before or anything. Not to mention the food itself was supbar at BEST. The mashed potatoes must have been half cheese because they were runny and looked disgusting and the maduro was the entire thing when normally it is supposed to be cut up into different pieces and cooked individually, but they probably do that differently here at this restaurant so watch out for that in case you are expecting what I was as well. It was also either undercooked or just way too soft, like as soft as the potatoes. My cousin's was way harder, in the way it's supposed to be. And the steak was decent but for a restaurant food needs to be more flavorful and I definitely recommend adding pictures of all the food items onto the menu or at least a digital menu because they also gave bigger parties only one menu. Every table that had sat around us, no matter amount of people, received only one menu and didn't even provide a digital one. We also ended up asking the manager and almost every single server ariund us for refills and utensils because our server started bringing out our food without utensils and we saw her a total of 5 times from beginning to end before she brought us our check. If you're coming here to eat, especially on a busy day, be wary and careful. Horrible service, barely decent food, and just terrible in general. They didn't even have regular cups, they gave us all our drinks in plastic to-go cups. Step up your game. read more

We have been going to this restaurant for over 8 years, so I know not to expect the best service, but the food is usually pretty good, so it makes up for it. Visited after a few months of not being there and prices are higher, food is less than mediocre ( and cold) and service was a 2/10. Ordered appetizers which we never got. Couldn't find our server, had to ask another waitress to have our food warmed up. Then a 20% suggested tip was added to the bill. Most expensive crappy Colombian meal ever. SO disappointed. Been here several times and I want to love this place but it's subpar. They have live music on the weekends which is nice but it's too loud. No real space to dance like the one in Lauderhill. Food is ok. I came to pick up food and it's a hit or miss. Sometimes you wait 10 minutes other times you wait almost an hour. I'm ok with the food not being made in a timely manner, but don't tell the customers that it's going to be ready at a particular time. Came here for a quick bite and was glad we found this place in a little plaza. Inside is traditionally decorated from ceiling to floor. They even had a little stage for a band that performs on the weekends. Now I did read the reviews about the not so good service but we were just picking up so the girls in the front were attentive and took our orders. We ordered a chorizo which was good and came with an arepa along with the blood sausage that also came with an arepa. Both were very tasty and came pre-sliced. The environment is good. Place is clean but service is horrible. The appetizers arrived when we finished our entrees. The waitress wouldn't come check on us, so no refills on water. If I could give to this restaurant a 0- believe me I would. Restaurant had only 2 other tables occupied when we arrived. For you to have an idea 20 mts after we arrived a couple came in and their food arrived almost simultaneously. The waitress came out to apologize for the kitchen's delay time. We order two natural lemonades and were pure water. We order a PICADA and after waiting almost 45 minutes for a total of six other people in the restaurant the PICADA came out. We were expecting it pretty well after the long wait; but was not the case. The meat was not properly cook nor taste fresh. The meat was like eating gum. My daughter couldn't chew the meat because it was so hard and tastes like meat stored in refrigerator for long time. We ended living all the food behind. Six months ago I had my daughter birthday and I order a PICADA for the get together and I experience a bad service with the order and food. I wanted to give it another chance but this place definitely does not have food quality standards. If you don't want to have a hard time with the time and quality of food, think about it before investing your money here. I was told this place was worth the try, so we came to change it up as there is another Colombian restaurant in the area that we frequent often. I was pretty hungry, so I decided to go with the bandeja paisa. It comes with rice , red beans, a piece of avocado , chorizo, chicharrón , carne asada, a fries sweet plantain, and an arepa. The red beans the best tasting item on the plate. I didn't care for the rice as it was crispy, and I know a lot of people like it that way, but I personally don't . The chorizo was good. The sweet plantain was a little undercooked for me, as I like it on the more burnt end, and this was kinda mushy. The carne asada was tender, nothing that blew my mind though. Tasted much better when I added their spicy red sauce. The cost of the plate was reasonable for the quantity of food served, but not a lot of options for lunch specials so you're almost forced to pick from the regular menu as I did . All in all would probably stick to my regular Colombian spot as as I feel the prices are better and I like their carne asada more. I will possibly come back, though, and try their Carne Llanera which is apparently their signature dish. read more

i have ordered from this place a lot in the past months. parking is relatively easy as it is located inside a street plaza. my favorite part of the menu is the carne a la llanera. it is a meat prepared in an a shaped grill and cooked with wood. if you get the picada then you will love thrle ribs as they are extremely juicy and tasty. the ribs soup is also super specially if you need some sort of comfort food. it comes with rice, beans and another side. the bandeja paisa is aalo good but not my favorite. the place is nice and before the pandemic the atmosphere used to be super packed, had good music and nice vibe. unfortunately lately i have only ordered to go. the service, this is the area that kills the rating. when you call to order they are really helpful and polite. unfortunately, when you get there they are a mess, everything is always super late (i have waited for at least 35 mins after i waited the time they told me the order is ready) also, if someone in front of you orders there then they will not help the next person while that person waiting for their food they will have you wait until everyone in front of you has left. i highly recommended management to address that situation as it makes me think about 10 times if I really want to go through that pain. last time i waited for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes for an order that was ready in 20 minutes. read more
