My 2 brothers and I came in around 4pm today. I'm surprised the restaurant was not filled with people. The food is delicious and the service from our server, Jerania, was absolutely phenomenal. (Beautiful name btw!) The food came out very quickly as well. Would recommend. 5 out of 5 stars. read more

My grandson and I had dinner at Rancho Hacienda Real in Albany, Oregon. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and he had the steak and chicken fajitas. We received so much food that we took plenty home for another meal! The meat had amazing flavor, and I especially loved the grilled onions. They were cooked perfectly and weren't soggy at all. Their iced tea was also delicious. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the service. We weren't asked if we wanted refills, and toward the end of the meal I finally had to get someone's attention to get another iced tea. We were still sitting, talking and enjoying our meal when our waitress came over, took our plates, and brought the payment machine. We weren't quite finished, so it felt a little like a hint that it was time to go. To be fair, there was a huge birthday party going on, and they were very busy. We asked for two takeout containers and sat for a few more minutes to finish enjoying our drinks before leaving. We will definitely return. The food is amazing, the portions are very generous, and those fajitas are worth going back for! read more

Mmmmm mmmm mmmm today I tried the enchiladas Jalisco. They were more like mini tacos but everything was so yummy and flavorful. The salsa so good, rice and beans are amazing. I'll keep trying everything. Amazing job Rancho Hacienda Real! read more

Two stars for the clean restaurant and bathroom was about all the positive I can comment. The service was quick but no personality or friendliness. Just took and delivered our order. The food was absolutely horrible. I had the chili relleno. It was a canned chili stuffed with an inch of rubbery cheese, covered by a very overcooked scrambled egg omelette. The sauce was tasteless. The whole thing was like trying to chew rubber. I lost my appetite quickly and couldn't get past the first bite. My husband had beef enchiladas which he said were very bland and tasteless. We won't be back. read more

First and foremost the customer service is outstanding. Secondly the food was very excellent. And of course the place was clean and new. I can't wait till they get the outdoor patio areas open. For the people complaining about waiting or smashed chips. We waited for about 20 minutes at 5pm on Saturday. The place is new and is packed. Also yes some chips were broken up guess what it was an easy fix we kindly asked for new chips, they were on it right now, we never ran out of chips salsa and beans.. So in the end let's try and support this place. It's the best I have had in Albany!! Like hands down. Ps they also have home made tortillas!! That's a big win!! read more

So, this is a fairly new place in Albany and we decided to give it a go. First, the staff were pleasant and despite being fairly busy they remained attentive. The space is new and clean and open, it was a bit noisy but not uncomfortably so. There are a lot of options on the menu. I had a chile Colorado burrito, which is my litmus test for Mexican places. Theirs was pleasant but not as flavorful as I would like. A little bland actually. Wife got enchiladas and said they were delicious. Daughter got tacos and had no complaints. There was a peculiar burnt smell in the restaurant as we left which was not super pleasant but I didn't notice it until we walked out. Parking was tight but there is street parking and I saw people parking in a lot across the street. Prices are market competitive for what you get. It was good. I would go again if people wanted to meet up for a gathering. read more

We visited this restaurant after a Google Search. Service was good and food was typical. The restaurant itself opened about six months ago and is large. The bar and patio area is quite impressive. Bathrooms clean. We were given complimentary homemade tortillas on our way out the door, perfect for our leftovers later. Definitely a place we will return to when we are traveling through the area. read more

Bad service, grumpy server. Not the waitress, but the girl bringing water and chips. No smile or acknowledgement when we asked for some more chips. Just gave us dirty looks. Went there for Mother's Day, 2026. Then we got food poisoning the next day. Will never go back.... read more

My husband took me and my family here tonight for my birthday. Amazing food , fresh , huge portions , authentic Mexican food , homemade tortillas ! Love the set up , spacious, very clean, plenty of seating. Customer service was outstanding! Thank u to our server Pastor for the amazing table service and giving us the back story on the restaurant. Highly recommend ! Will definitely be going back from: a very picky lady read more

Rancho Hacienda Real - Trio fajitas plate (steak, chicken, shrimp) includes rice and beans. And fresh corn or flour homemade tortillas 10/10 - Mexican Near Me - Albany, Oregon

The restaurant's ambience feels cold and uninviting. The lighting is overly bright, giving the food an unappealing look when served. The large, blank walls in the main dining area add to the stark atmosphere, and the booth seats were surprisingly hard and uncomfortable -- unexpected for a new establishment. When our meals arrived, my chimichanga was covered in a canned cheese sauce, and my husband's enchilada lacked flavor. Overall, the food was disappointing. When it came time to pay, the electronic check was brought to the table, and the waitress stood over us while we completed the transaction -- an uncomfortable experience. A simple "I'll check you out when you're ready" would have been much more courteous. This restaurant has quite a bit to improve on if it hopes to succeed. My advice: the two Mexican restaurants down the street are far superior in both food and atmosphere. read more

If you like mediocre food and so so, No hablo Ingles, service, then this is the place for you. Personally, I'm going to stick with El Palenque Mexican Restaurant just up the street. The owners should try and sell the building to Texas Roadhouse before it goes down any further. Like many have noted, the food tastes like it's straight from the Sysco can. I can't comment on the handmade corn tortillas, the ones my enchiladas were wrapped in what tasted like store bought. I have it two stars only because it's new, still clean, and working out the bugs. Best of luck to the restaurant, give it a good run, but we won't be going back. read more

Best Mexican food I think I've ever had! We will definitely be back. Wonderful service. Beautiful atmosphere.

The service was excellent from our server Pastor. The food was outstanding with big portions and authentic Mexican. I am definitely going back. My entire family had nothing but good things to say about our experience at this place. The restaurant is huge with many different areas that include outside seating and also a bar/lounge. Thank you Pastor for taking great care of us. read more

We have a lovely experience at this place tonight! The staff was super knowledgeable about dietary restrictions (I'm gluten free). Almost all sauces are gluten free!! We got two huge portions and will be having leftovers for days. The margarita flight was really good and refreshing. My husband wants to show you a picture of his "cheese pull". He said he liked the mole enchiladas but it's wasn't his favorite (he's a mole connoisseur). I loved the mojechita (not sure I'm spelling that right) and my husband ate all my leftovers! We sat in the lounge instead of the restaurant and it was more quiet (we heard a lot of happy birthdays in the main room) but also very relaxed. I would definitely come back to try out their happy hour and other drinks! read more

Absolutely boring food. Minimal seasoning, same old beans/rice/anything covered in sauce and cheese Mexican restaurant fare. Spent over $50 for 1 person margarita flight, entree and tip. read more

People who read my reviews know I always start out with this. This is my opinion at the time of dining in at dinner hours. Let's start with parking. Well it's in the back and go small if you're going to park close to the building cause it is very tight but there is parking a little bit away and well walking to and from helps with the hunger and the digestion on the walk back out the the car, not far at all. lol. First that place is probably one of the biggest places inside that I've seen in Albany and surrounding areas. Almost like a mall. It's very clean and well lit up and seating was fast and the booths were comfortable. It was around 6:30pm and the big open dinning area we sat in wasn't packed at all. But I'm thinking that this place can put a lot of people in different dining rooms and bar areas. I'm also thinking that being so open could get really loud if there's a birthday party or just a lot of people. It is nicely decorated inside and out. The food was absolutely delicious and maybe a 10 to 15 minute wait before the food was at our table from time of our order was taken. You couldn't for ask-more better service than that. They were kind and friendly servers. Always with a smile and came to the table a few times to check on us. The Plates are actually pretty big. Some of the biggest plates around with plenty of food on them. I'm a shrimp person and well I'd say very well cooked and flavored. I normally don't eat the beans at a restaurant cause I was raised making them different. But will say that their beans are good. Their rice was fluffy and tasted very good as well. Now the corn tortillas are to die for. Those are the most authentic corn tortillas in any restaurant I've been in and they're bigger than all restaurants around. Kudos to the person who makes them. Now I will say this. Now my wife's plate as she told me was definitely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Prices on a few of there dishes went up to a whopping 37+ a plate. Our plates went for around $18 to $22. I always say if the food is beyond good then ok but if that one time. Well I'll just leave that there. The menu is big with lots to choose from and the drink list has lots to choose from as well. Have to say that the margarita was perfectly made to taste. No skimp on the tequila and not overwhelming with the tequila. So with this being our first time dining as this restaurant. I'd say everything was good from time of entry to time of exit. I will say it's one of the more pricier restaurants I've been in but there is a variety to choose from. People in the area or even visiting need to try this place at least once. I will at this time will recommend this restaurant. You enjoy. We did. read more

Huge restaurant with loads of seating with an authentic atmosphere! The food was varying in authenticity but all tasted very good. They do have American dishes for those wondering; and the Mexican dishes are expansive in option and flavor! Something for everyone. I think these are the best tortillas I've ever had. I'm a connoisseur of tortillas and any Mexican restaurant serving store bought I won't return to. I had the pollo chipotle, very good. I also had a lime margarita on the rocks and a blended strawberry margarita with real strawberries, both very good. The restaurant itself was very nice, service was excellent. I didn't remember to take pictures. We had a group of 20 and there was no delay in service and all of our orders were correct. read more
