We decided to DoorDash El Rey's for an early dinner.I love horchata so I decided to get a small to try theirs. The Horchata was too sweet for my liking.My tacos were very yummy. They had soft tortillas,pollo asado had lots of flavor.I liked the green sauce the best, it was yummy.Red sauce is hotter but still really good. My Hubby said his burrito was better than the one he had at El Machin and it's cheaper too. I can't comment on their service or the ambiance on the restaurant because we DoorDashed. I had a delicious chorizo breakfast burrito (had them hold the potatoes), though it did ooze a little grease. If you like it spicy, ask for the habanero hot sauce - it's both tasty and caliente. Worst taco salad I have ever experienced. Finely shredded limp lettuce, plentiful raw onions, gray soggy beans and meat that was half grizzle. Everything about it was terrible. AND a hair was in it, maybe cover your hair? Impossible to eat. read more

Came here to try this place out based on coworkers advise. The place has some pretty good food. I was a little surprised to be honest. Most of the Mexican food in Albany is not that great. The menu board could be a little bit easier to read for sure. But the yummy food makes up for it. read more

Pretty good--generous portion for the burrito. There wasn't much meat in it, though. It was largely refried beans. Flavor was good, though. Best part of it? The red hot sauce that they serve. So flavorful! The burrito was $8 and is enough for two meals, so an economic win in my book. read more

The flavor profiles are there. They have a drive thru and a seating area inside, nothing fancy but plenty of space. The cook and the person running the front counter were so kind and helpful. My favorite place in Albany to get Burritos. Everything I have tried is very good. They have the tastiest refried beans. Bean and cheese burritos are one of my favorites. Very clean and staff are helpful and friendly. Give them a try, I think you will go back. Today I tried the Giant burrito with pork carnitas, very tasty with rice, beans, and fresh avocado. They carne asada burritos are huge. I've not tried other foods yet as I really like the burritos. Frequently, I'll enjoy half and air fry the other half the next day to enjoy the rest. Tony's Taco's is one of my favorite spots in Albany. When you enter the first thing you'll notice is how clean and fresh smelling the establishment is. It's immaculate. The staff is super friendly. Excellent customer service. Then there's the food. OMG the food. They have a burrito the size of a new born baby, I mean it is massive. I'm not joking. Everything is so delicious. Best asada tacos! Very good flavor and I also had Tony's tots which was a much larger portion than expected! By the time I ate the tacos the tots got a bit soft and soggy as they came in styrofoam container. Would be better crispy. read more
