We got the number 4 which I forget ask the ingredients, but it comes with ricotta cheese on top.. and I love ricotta cheese!!! I must have visited on the day they were out of cheese because my lg Pepperoni pizza had literally zero mozzarella cheese on it. the fact they use the small tasty pepperoni almost makes up for it but leaves a person wondering ...what if? This is the best Eillio's pizza I've ever had, hands down. Although I dont have to drive out of my way to get an Ellio's pizza. And Ellio's pizza doesn't cost $24. And when I'm at home in my underwear making an Ellio's pizza I don't need to tip some pissy faced kid 15% for handing me a pizza across a counter and then yelling that they are closing in 5 minutes as soon as i take my first bite. This was hands down the worst $24 I've ever spent on pizza in my life and I would rather jam 15 tino's pizza rolls up my ass crack than eat here again both because of the terrible value of getting a pice of bread with the slimmest ablmount of cheese on top and having to deal with the shitbag service chump. read more

The gentleman whom Tony order was rude and acted as if he bothered by having to take our order. Then on top of that our order was wrong. We returned to have it corrected and whom I'm assuming is the owner or manager was very apologetic and made good on our order and then some. Thank you for that! Probably this is feedback for the delivery, but bottom line is our food arrived totally cold, which affects the quality and the experience. Okay just had a cheat weekend (don't judge), and finished off with dinner last night with pizza from Ranch Pizza. BF had gone here previously and really loved the pizza, so I was anxious to give it a try (and I hadn't eaten pizza in a while). I normally love thin crust pizza, but this deep dish pizza was so so good. The crust isn't heavy like Chicago deep dish pizza - this crust is thick, but it's airy and has a nice crunch. They also have a good selection of toppings, but not too many, so it's not over whelming like some places. We got two different kinds: the Meat Volcano and the #4. The Meat Volcano has pepperoni, bacon and sausage, and it was really good, but I loved the #4. It's a great combo of flavors: House-made sausage, ricotta, Calabrian chilis, mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino Romano, and fresh basil. I loved the chilis - they were slightly sweet and had a nice amount of heat. I will definitely order the #4 again. Decent amount of seating inside and out, and street parking, but easy to find (next to Tamale Boy). Love that Ranch Pizza is in my neighborhood and we have another pizza option nearby, that's also different. *I also talked to one of the employees, and he said they are opening a second location soon, near NW 23rd. read more

I don't know why it took me this long to eat here. Hands down one of the best pizza spots in Portland. Period. Oven and Shaker being the other one. Both are different types of pizza. Both amazing. I tried the pepperoni and the Hawaiian quarter slices. I didn't realize they would be so big. I'm normally not the type to like pineapple on my pizza but they did it right. The pineapple is fresh and the pieces aren't too much. The dough is soft and crispy at the same time. The pepperonis are crispy. Service is good and laid back. Ordered the $10 lunch special and I'll tell you what, it was one of the best $10 bucks I've ever spent. It comes with a very generous slice of pizza and a salad of your choice. I ordered the pepperoni and added ricotta cheese and pineapple. $1 extra for each topping you add, but it was still worth it. The focaccia, Detroit type pizza was so flavorful! Loved the fresh basil on it! And the salad was amazing too. I ordered their green salad. So fresh.. Loved that they put butter lettuce in the mix, sliced radishes, carrots and red onions.. then some pumpkin seeds. I see people saying they weren't crazy about their ranch..? Growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, I missed Detroit Style Pizza after moving to Oregon. This place definitely is a great hidden gem! It wasn't very busy when we arrived and we were seated and got our pizza quickly. There are a few outdoor seats and indoor seats. We got half number four and half meat tornado. The flavors overall were great. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the ricotta cheese had no flavor. Overall a great pizza joint in Portland. I would come back someday and try the Hawaiian style version they offer. read more

This used to be one of our favorite pizza spots but sadly the quality and consistency has taken a dip ok.. it's fallen flat as of the last 2 visits. The pizza slice isn't hot when it comes to the table. Who wants a luke warm piece of pizza?? You should have to blow on a bite first to cool it down before sinking your teeth in gooey cheese. The only thing gooey on this pizza is the dough because it's not cooked all the way through. Sadly, like SUPER sadly, we won't be returning. Been craving pizza like this and Ranch PDX DELIVERED. Coming from the Bay Area $6 for a quarter pie and a side of (delicious) ranch is a steal. Their ranch has a nice dill flavor, which I'm normally not a fan of but this was very tasty. Complimented the pizza perfectly. I don't eat meat often but pepperoni pizza is my weakness, they were perfectly cooked with a slight crunch. 10/10 would highly recommend! There is no seating currently due to COVID but there is a Brewery right around the corner, so grab a slice and a beer and you are good to go! read more

This particular location is a little confusing as of late. The hours are erratic. Last we were aware they were closed on Thursday and Friday, which is... not a great day to close a pizza joint. And now it looks like it's closed on Sunday when that wasn't previously stated? The food is unbelievably good, and the staff is friendly. Without consistent hours we will have to find a new regular pizza a place. We are deeply disappointed in this lack of consistency. The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because of the food. I have searched high and low for a great pizza in town and this place is it! The thin wood fire crust you find at a lot places is tasty, but that just isn't what I'm thinking of when I'm craving pizza. The pepperonis were small and crisp like they should be, they were in abundance on the pizza, and all of the other flavors brought it all together. There was good cheese, but not too much, and the crust was like the best focaccia I've ever had. And while I'm not traditionally a ranch with pizza person, I had to give it a try here and it was fresh and flavorful (actually the best ranch dressing I've ever had).
