It's just phenomenal pizza. The care they put into the toppings is next level. It's not just canned pineapple, it's hand cut and drained - non-soggy pineapple. It's not just ranch, it's homemade and garlicky-ive yet to find better. They next-level every ingredient they add to your pizza. They don't skimp. Not on quality or quantity. If you like Detroit Style pizza, I'm not sure you'll find better on the West Coast.

Wow, this bad boy was serious. When they handed me this box I thought they handed me a box full of encyclopedias. To my surprise there was a pizza in there. Also to my surprise, the pizza was fantastic. It's a heavy and filling pizza. Hunker down and be ready to stuff yourself. This had everything I wanted. It's a Detroit style situation but more dense. It's the real deal. That's all I'll say. I don't need to get into much more detail (4.7 Stars)

Detroit style pizza with at least two locations, but a little bit on the higher end of pricing. I ordered online and it said it would be ready quicker than I expected, nice! You can choose quarter, half, or full pies. I got a half and half pie. "Hawaiian" split with "#4" Of course I added two ranch! I said to myself 'it better be good with this name'! It was delicious! They even hooked it up ;) much appreciated!! The pizza is phenomenal! Thick, crispy, buttery crust with quality ingredients smothering the top! Not all may love it, but the pineapple is super fresh! Watch out for the jalapeños, you are going to need that ranch! I even got a message once ready for pickup.

Hands down, the best pizza I've eaten in Portland. I almost dropped the box because of how crazy heavy the pizza was, and yet, somehow, the Sicilian-style pizza is crazy light. You can eat a ton without feeling stuffed. The sauce is rich and flavorful and it has the perfect combination of cheese. I am normally not a fan of crust, but this pizza takes all of the toppings to the edge, and, with the way it's cooked, the crust crispy, but still airy. Ironically, with this pizza, it's my favorite part! Erg, maybe it's my favorite part of the pizza specifically, because the real winner is their ranch dressing. It's insanely flavorful, and seasoned just right. It's so good, they even sell it by itself! I highly recommend you give them a try.

Picked up a pizza and it literally had NO cheese on it. We deconstructed the the entire pie, not a sliver of cheese. SO disappointing for nearly $40 bucks.

So glad I finally tried Ranch. It is rave worthy! Beware of the Calabrian peppers, maybe ask for less. The crust is perfectly crisp. Service was prompt. Thankfully went on off time and day (Wednesday evening). No one was in there, which was perfect for getting our order quickly.

5/5 would recommend. This place exceeded my expectations. Delicious Detroit style pizza, hefty portions, and perfect for sharing! Great price ($9.50 - price will vary depending on pizza type). Although I felt like their flavor options were very limited. I ended up ordering the 2 quarter size Number Four (sausage, ricotta, chilies). The pizza was a soft focaccia like bread. Lots of toppings. Super cheesy and paired with the free house made ranch was absolutely delicious. I even had leftovers! Service was speedy quick! Staff were helpful and nice. Ambiance was inviting. I would def come back!

Horribly bought a whole pizza and it was all burnt I ate part of it and through out the rest of the pizza it was nasty super salty and burnt for whatever reason there was already Parmesan cheese & peppers on it looks like it was a return they heated it up burning it then served it. I'd be willing to remove this feedback if they are willing to make it right but I also feel like people should know I didn't have to experience this and no one else should either

After a day of adventure, we came back to the city with an appetite. Ranch PDX is a small joint with 4-5 small tables inside, along with wall bar-style seating + additional outdoor tables. You order up front, then are given a # and seat yourself. You also grab your own utensils in the back then buss your table after by placing your dishes in labeled containers + tossing scraps + boxing your leftovers. Party of 2 opted for classic pep 12" to share. We had an appetite, but still had two pieces to spare. A 12" could probably be shared between 3 people and be sufficient. Lotsss of pep + two free sides of small ranch! Complimentary water in the back to help yourself with. All in all, good eats.

My daughter requested we go to the place with "the square pizza". She's very vocal for a 6 year old and knows what she likes. I'm going to say that Ranch PDX is quickly becoming a pizza staple in our family despite the drive from Vancouver. We order ahead online and the timing is pretty much spot on. Upon arrival the service is great. We were attended to quickly and the food was out just in time. It was quiet around the early dinner hour and we were able to have a nice sit down with a couple slices of our favorites. I love their Hawaiian bc they spice it up with some jalapeños. My daughter of course loves their pepperoni. It's hard to beat this place. Their ranch is also amazing. Definitely recommend you all give this spot a try!

The pizza was great! The salad was very tasty as well. Parking is by the street, our kid loved the arcade machines while waiting.

You start down by Fort Vancouver and the old barracks, then drift uphill toward Officers Row, and suddenly the whole world changes speed. Massive old homes sit there like retired generals who still expect you to shine your boots before dinner. Big porches. Towering trees. The kind of neighborhood where you half expect a guy in suspenders to walk out holding a bourbon and discussing railroad expansion. Then right there, like a good jazz note sliding into the song at exactly the right time, sits Willful Wine inside the old Grant House. And brother, this place caught my eye immediately. The Grant House itself is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the Northwest, built around 1850, and tied to none other than Ulysses S. Grant before he became the cigar-chomping Civil War legend plastered across history books. You sit on that wraparound porch overlooking the green lawn and suddenly you start feeling fancier than your checking account has any business allowing. Now let me tell you something about wine people. Sometimes they can act like they're decoding ancient scripture. A guy swirls a glass, sniffs it three times, then says something like, "I'm detecting notes of saddle leather and emotionally unavailable fathers." Calm down, Merlot Sherlock. But this place avoids all that nonsense. The wine at Willful Wine feels approachable without being pretentious. Elegant without trying too hard. Like somebody who owns a tuxedo but still knows how to change a tire. And the food? Exactly what you want in a place like this. Good small plates, charcuterie, seasonal dishes, brunch, cocktails, and enough comfort to make you accidentally stay two hours longer than planned. I came for a drink and somehow mentally moved into the neighborhood by appetizer number two. The whole experience feels like stumbled into old frontier America and decided to stay for another bottle. History hanging in the walls. Music floating through the rooms. People laughing on the porch while the sun folds itself down over the fort. Willful Wine is classy without acting classy, and that's a rare trick these days. Five stars. If this place were any more charming, it'd start charging you rent.

We're talking "Fred Meyer cheese counter" quality. Nothing bad, but just not great. The assortment of "dried fruit" was a small cup of dried cranberries. Meh. The real issue I have regarding our visit was the automatic 20% gratuity. I really hate this required tipping movement within the restaurant industry. I do wish they would just raise the prices and leave the tipping to me and my server to hash out. Sometimes the service isn't worth 20% of my bill. Really. Normally, there is a notice in Open Table or on the venue's website to alert of a required tipping policy. I saw neither prior to our arrival. In fact, I didn't notice any warning on the menu either but it was dark in the lounge and I may have missed the small print. I typically avoid restaurants requiring a service fee or mandatory 20% tip. This time they got me but I doubt we'll be back.
