Great experience! The cozy and modern space strikes the perfect balance between stylish and welcoming. Their wine flight was excellent! They have an options of mostly whites/rose and a few reds or mostly reds and just a few whites. The food pairings were just as impressive, elevating the flavors of the wines without feeling fussy. The baked brie with fig, honey, pistachio and orange zest topping was chefs kiss!! Highly recommend! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel relaxed and special. Can't wait to come back!

I came here one evening after dinner for a quick drink and had a really pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly and despite us staying a little bit past closing, she did not make us feel rushed at all and was very very kind! The inside of the shop has small tables or bar seating (and in the warmer days there's also outdoor seating). They had a variety of wines as well as some bites of food, but I just got the wine. Great wine and loved all of the glasses that I tried. Would definitely come back!

LOve, love, love. My experience was so over the top amazing, I instantly signed up to be a member. The staff here is SOOOOOOOOO awesome. It's like cheers, even on your first venture. It's like your a best friend and you don't even have to be. I found them because it was so hot out and my little one needed som ac. I walked in, no questions asked, they did everything to help us and welcome us both in. I love them so much. I've been back three times now and it's never faulted. The wine is great. I'm not a huge fan of white or rose but theirs is an exception. I'm so excited to be a member and experience this over and over again.

Love coming here! Not only for the beautiful location, but also, the management and staff are so friendly and attentative. If you're a wine member from Woodinville, I highly recommend coming here. Stay a night at one of the nearby hotels and enjoy the Waterfront, wine taste and grab a bite.

Prosciutto, whipped goat cheese, arugula, with drizzled honey flatbread, with suggested Italian wine.

First the young man behind the counter (Kevin) was so welcoming to myself and my unvested service dog, (all dogs are welcome I believe) even so, he was delightful, friendly and so positive about the selection of food, let alone parings with wine selection. It was perfect and delicious. He brought my pup a bowl of water and came out in the right timing to turn the umbrella to block the setting sun from my eyes. Really a wonderful experience on the water front! Thank you Kevin! I will be back.

This winery was pretty packed on our early Saturday evening visit, but we will still somehow, miraculously, seated immediately inside. We weren't particularly hungry at the time, so we opted to split the current wine flight between us, which included a nice variety of whites, rose and reds. Having sampled each, my wife and I each ordered a glass of our favorite, the Oriana, and enjoyed the warm weather, approaching sunset, and each other's company. I will admit, I'm nowhere even close to being a sommelier or wine snob, but I can tell when a wine isn't cutting the mustard. I can say with authority that every vintage was remarkable, even the darker blends of which I am generally not a fan. Brian Carter Cellars shows competence and mastery of their craft, and this location is staffed with friendly, personable and knowledgeable servers. They do credit to the stellar reputation of restaurants and wineries along the Vancouver Waterfront! We will be back!

This was a new item on the menu. I can't remember the name, but strawberries, a light and soft cheese, balsamic, and maybe mint? Delicious!

My husband and I are from Las Vegas, and there were many wineries to choose from on the waterfront. We walked in and knew immediately after meeting Rick, the manager, that we would likely be there all night! We were going to find a place to eat dinner, and ended up just eating here. SO GLAD we did! The wine is fantastic, the food is delicious, the view is beautiful, and the staff are phenomenal :) Rick gave us detailed information about all the wines, and engaged us in conversation. Him and his staff are very knowledgable about the wine maker. We tried almost everything off the menu and all of it was great! We loved it so much that we went back a few days later over trying another winery. With all the great food/drink in Vegas it's difficult to wow us. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Let me break down my review: Ambience: 4.5/5 - cute location, great spot by the water and very clean Food: 5/5 - got the pear and blue cheese flat bread and it was amazing Wine: 4.5/5 - solid wine, tasted great, no big complaints. Wasn't a huge fan of the white but it wasn't bad by any means and my friend loved it. Service: 4/5 - one, they bring you all your pours at the same time which I hate and it's not a true wine tasting experience like a vineyard. Leaving you to "pour" for you and any friends you are with which I don't like the responsibility of splitting the wine with them. -the biggest issue I have which is an amateur move: we tasted the 2015 Byzanc. I liked it so much I ordered two bottles to take home with me. I just went to open one and noticed both bottles are the 2016. This is completely not okay, an amateur mistake, and annoyed I paid a 2015 bottle price and got 2016 wine. Your wait staff needs to understand you can't swap years of wine as obviously it tastes different year to year. For that, big red flag for me and my experience **Note the owner has tried to make this right, which I appreciate. Changing my review

We originally found the Sedgwick on a cold winter's night in 2023. We stopped in for what we planned was a quick appetizer and drink. We ended up staying for dinner at the bar. The bar is well lit and very classy. The staff is dressed appropriately. Drinks are very good but do take a minute to craft. They are on the pricy side. The food is absolutely wonderful. Truly. Excellent food, excellent chef. However, for the portion size, it's pricey. One can understand they are doing this intentionally to maintain a higher class of patrons but the tab was a bit jarring. We've been back a couple times, took friends once. They enjoyed it but they too, did mention the prices. Great place in the heart of downtown. We'll be back. Hopefully they'll adjust portions to match their pricing.

It's close enough to walk to, which makes it even better. Honestly, every time I walk through the door, I almost want to start singing the Cheers theme song. This is now my third visit, and each time I've had a great experience. The crowd is incredibly friendly, and there's just something about this place that makes you feel welcome. On my first visit, I sat at the bar and met Randi, the bartender. She is absolutely amazing! She knows everyone by name and has that wonderful ability to make you feel like you've been coming there forever. I started with the calamari, and Randi set me up with some chipotle mayo for dipping. Excellent choice! I finished with the combination pizza. At first, I thought the crust was sourdough, but I was told it's actually a bagel crust. Regardless of what you call it, it was absolutely delicious! My second visit was about a week and a half later. I sat at the bar again, and Randi looked at me, smiled, and said, "Tony, right?" Now THAT is pretty amazing! Remembering my name after only one previous visit--and with a week and a half between visits--is exactly the kind of personal touch that makes a place special. Of course, I had to order the calamari again. This time I also tried the fried chicken. And if you're looking for a big portion, this is definitely worth checking out! For my third visit, I brought a couple of friends along. Candace took great care of us and did an amazing job as well. We started with the Italian meatball soup, and it was phenomenal. We also tried the fajita tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. While sitting at a regular table this time, I noticed some pretty impressive accolades on the wall. Uptown Barrel Room was named Best Wine Bar and Best Seafood in 2023, and Best Wine Bar again in 2024. It's always fun finding those little neighborhood gems, especially when you're new to an area. For me, Uptown Barrel Room has quickly become one of those places where you can walk in, see friendly faces, enjoy some great food, and feel like you belong. If you're in the area, go in and give it a try. You will not be sorry! And if you see me sitting at the bar, just come say hi. Apparently, Randi already knows my name. Cheers to discovering new places and making new friends!

They do serve lunch items along with pastries and coffee, and when I walked in there were a few locals standing around watching TV which gave it a casual neighborhood vibe. I ordered a large cold brew and a pecan bar from the pastry case. The cold brew was actually really good -- strong, smooth, and definitely woke me up. The pecan bar, though, wasn't my favorite. It tasted a little aged/stale and unfortunately didn't really hit the mark for me (especially when you grow up spoiled by homemade pecan bars ). Service was okay but not particularly warm or welcoming. More of a "take your order and keep it moving" type of atmosphere. Nothing rude, just not overly friendly either. All in all, still a decent little coffee stop if you're nearby and need caffeine, but with so many coffee shops in the area, I'm excited to continue exploring and see what else Vancouver has to offer
