It's a good decent standard pizza. It's better than any other fast food pizza and at a good price point. I used to eat this pizza all the time when they had one in Vancouver because of the price and what you get. When that one closed I didn't have it again until today. I would reccomend. With that said I can't blame them but our delivery showed up with 3 breadsticks (that looked rifled through) instead of the 6 we ordered. We were reimbursed through door dash. My friend and I split a pie on a weekday and I thought it was very solid pizza! We got a half Hawaiin and half pepperoni, so you know, hard to go wrong. We placed the order online and picked it up. it was ready right on time and piping hot! They have a very good happy hour too with a slice and brew special so that's a great one to hit up! The young man behind the counter told her they didn't have that kind of pizza. Remember i have been eating here for years always getting said pizza. So she ordered a different pizza. Then immediately while I was paying and continued as we were leaving, they were mocking me over the fact that I gave them a 3$ tip... they were lucky to get any with how rude they were the moment we walked in and continued to be so throughout the entire interaction.. Think about it ; If you separated the crust of a slice of pizza from whatever else you would put on it, placed those things onto two separate plates, then given the choice of eating off of only one plate...which are you going to eat? Unless you are on some weird keto diet or are visiting an inferior Pizzeria, its probably gonna be the crust. You know what else they serve at Sparkys? Bread sticks. Why does that matter? Because that shows the size of their Meatballs. They have so much confidence in their crust that they are gonna attempt to sell you that s#it straight up no chaser (unless you want the marinara, and you DO want it of course) Just want to point out that I have only been to the one on Brazee Street. How a dough comes out can be influenced by the particular oven its cooked in. And also by the particular typically Punk Rock esque pizza guy who is cooking it. So this was decent pizza. Not off the wall, best pizza and not necessarily New York pizza but it was good and I liked the pepperoni. Sparky's has many pizza choices, from veggie to loaded up with meat. They have a Sicilian but not what one would expect coming from the East Coast. I think big square slices on a thick crust. They do their regular crust and the toppings they add make it "Sicilian". The same can be said about their "Chicago" pizza as well. It's just a name, not the style of pizza. My opinion is to call it something else. Anyway, big slices, lots of pepperoni, the crust was a little doughy (I need to start telling shops, well done on pizzas like I did in Texas) The sauce needed something. Maybe salt. It's not a place I'd go out of the way for, but if I'm up in Boise, it's a good option for quick and inexpensive. Since it was a nice day today, my fellow colleagues decided it be a nice day to walk and get some pizza. The pizza here has always been consistently good. Today I had the Sicilian slice and a Hawaiian slice that also included bacon bits, not to mention their delicious parmesan shticks with marinara dressing. We ate outdoors since there wasn't indoor seating (which makes sense given the current situation with COVID and everything). I liked the decor inside. Was working in this part of town last week and decided to have lunch at Sparky's, near the Nike store on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, near Russell St. The Pizza is great, the slices are just a bit heavier than most pizza you find. Quality pizza, nice choices. I generally ignore clams to be New York style pizza when on the West Coast, it's just pizza, but, not bad. I had one slice of Pepperoni and one slice of Cheese, along with a soda... $5.50. I believe one slice with drink is $3.50. This is a place where the Pizza is already ready, they put your slices in the oven for a couple of minutes. There were about 5 different kinds and they had salads. Fortunately, I've never spent my own Money on Pizza at this location. My Company occasionally treats us to several Pizzas from this location. I'll cut to the chase. Despite trying several variations of Pizza provided by Sparkys, I've not found a single one that I found even remotely delicious. Terribly dry, flavorless Crust and Pizza Sauce with cheap toppings makes for one bad Pizza. As a comparison, we all chipped in once to get a Pizza at the new Flying Pie Pizzeria in NE Portland. I never saw our crew eat so fast and verbally state how great this Pizza was! Some even ran to their Car with leftovers! Not a slice left! I wish our company would spend the extra $$$ and purchase Pizza from here instead. When provided at work I always try their Pizza again but with the same results. I take one bite of Pizza and am immediately underwhelmed to the point that I throw the rest of the flavorless Slice into the Garbage! I also notice that when this Pizza is provided at work, there's always a lot left over despite a large, hungry crew of workers. That should speak volumes to their quality too. read more

The size is really big and one can fill someone up, but if you're a fattie like me you'd want to try the other flavors. They are generous on the toppings especially for the Hawaiian. Most places will be stingy on the pineapple and ham topping. There was so much pineapple some fell down when I picked it up. The crust is soft and delicious. If you like your crust a little crispy on the outside, but still chewy in the middle, this place is for you. The location on MLK is pretty small, but the staff is super nice. The location in the Grand Central building off Belmont is much larger inside, with multiple TVs and some video games. The quality of the food at both locations is very good. read more

Every time I have been extremely satisfied with the pizza. Especially the Greek pizza!
