I was staying at Brassada for the weekend and our group ate here for dinner the first night of our stay and for lunch the next day. The ambience is resort lodge vibe with guests from nearby town or guests at Brassada Ranch. The menu selection is limited and the food was standard, nothing stood out. The service was very good.

overall good, just be generous with salt, pepper and hot sauce.

Passable breakfast. Usually I'd deduct star points for the price points, but this is a resort, so value isn't really a consideration. What was lacking is flavor. The portion and texture of the chicken fried steak and homemade biscuits was fine, but it was very bland. Moreover, the dish was very light on gravy. However, the potatoes were excellent (due to their crisp), much better than average home fries. This flavor void was also evident at the Range Restaurant, so it seems like they're very conservative with spice and overall flavor. If so, it makes sense given the demographic: older caucasian retirees and younger couples with with kids. So the resort restaurants are named the Ranch House and the Range Restaurant (higher-end dinner only.) Why they named them so is a marketing blunder IMO. After three days everyone in our party had difficulty remembering which was which. Service was pleasant and efficient. The view was beautiful as our table overlooked a bridge and a plain with animals grazing.

Wonderful dinner last night! Can't say enough about our server. Good service makes all the difference, and this lady went above and beyond to handle our group and make sure we had a great time.

For our visit this was a 5 star experience. We'd visited previously and had a really bad meal but it all seemed like it was a staffing train wreck going on and I could not fault the brand of the restaurant itself, it was a hot mess with a bunch of grumpy staff. So, on our last visit everything was well done, we did a late breakfast on a busy weekend and sat outside. From the greeting with the cowboy tone to our waiter pushing the cowboy theme I could tell something was different. We ordered what came to us as a massive Bloody Mary resembling an eatable Janga puzzle more than a drink. The meals arrived quickly and were plated nicely, well done! We ordered a traditional eggs meal and a salmon benedict. Foods was great, service was great, and the location is one of the nicest you'll find anywhere. If you're a local you need to come visit and see what this community has turned into. We love it as it truly feels like a resort escape for us at the pool area. If you're visiting you should check it out.

This is a very fancy and posh ranch. There are horses that graze in view of the resteraunt below a range of mountains including the sisters. The view is breathtaking. You can romeo around and check out their cabins, athletic club and general store. Everything is a little over priced here including the resteraunt. But the cozy cabin vibe of this place makes it worth it.

The Ranch House at Brasada Ranch is a super classy and delicious experience from start to finish and an absolute must-visit restaurant if you're ever traveling through or staying near Bend. Reservations recommended but probably not completely necessary. The restaurant is located at Brasada Ranch, which of course is a vast ranch about 20-25 minutes outside downtown Bend. The property has one main road, plenty of parking, and easy-to-find buildings. Upon arriving, we noticed that the restaurant was largely empty, which was surprising, but we were nevertheless greeted warmly and shown to a table on the balcony with a gorgeous west-facing view of the Cascade mountains, and namely the Three Sisters, Mount Washington, Mount Bachelor, and others. As the sun set, the view got even better, and you'll definitely be giving your camera a workout. This restaurant is dog-friendly, and it was pretty great to have our dog with us at the table. One side note: when we were there, there was a wedding reception going on in a nearby building, and the band they hired was very loud -- sitting at our table we could hear the band clearly, but it wasn't overwhelmingly loud (we didn't have to yell over it). Lucky for us, they were an excellent band, but I'd worry to think what the experience might be like with an equally loud band that wasn't so great. Our server was professional, attentive, and friendly, with really good wine and food recommendations. I was there with a group, so I won't go over all the food, but it was generally delicious. I'd especially recommend the grilled shrimp appetizer, the salmon pasta, and the fried chicken. Also, the S'mores dessert is mandatory. It features homemade marshmallows and homemade graham crackers, with semi-sweet chocolate bars. Take it all over to the fire pit and roast your marshmallows, assemble, and enjoy your messy campfire dessert as you watch the beautiful sunset. Ranch House puts on a memorable and wonderful evening that you'll be glad you drove all the way out here for. Would strongly recommend on your next visit to the Bend area.

This camera just can't do it justice.

We waited a couple of hours and the room was still not ready at the new guaranteed time. The first room they offered us would not open so they gave us another room, but then when we went into the second room, it totally was not made ready for new guests. Check out all of the photos attached. The bed was not made and clearly used by prior hotel guests. The bathroom didn't have all of the lights functioning, but worse had towels that were dirty and we're all hung up together on the hook. Trash was not taken out. The room also was set to such a high temperature that I could not adjust nor put on any AC in the thick of summer heat. Outside there was a dead rodent right outside the patio that looks like it had been sitting there for a long time. The worst part is when I complained about this, the person who answered was very Flippin did not apologize and was very defensive saying that they were swamped. I understand that it was a holiday weekend, but to deny my experience and not offer anything aside from a dinner was reprehensible and totally not anywhere near the kind of service that a four star resort should offer. The following morning to placate us, they left a basket of perishable items, but didn't even check in with us and so by the time we opened it with the heat and hours sitting there, it was not edible anymore. Organization was also an issue because when I tried going to yoga, I got there early and per the attached signs. Everyone was supposed to meet there. I waited and waited called the front desk, asked where it was supposed to be even called the phone number listed on the sign yet did not find the class eventually I hitched a ride with the resorts golf cart and they drove me to the usual hiking place and I ran after the group to try to catch up, but I already missed part of the hike and it clearly was the fault of whoever organized it. I travel a lot and have stayed at many resorts all over the world, and this was the most disorganized and horrible service, especially considering the bad experience we went through. There were no offers to comp our bill or to make it right. Just excuses I would stay away from this until it has new management.

The server was nice and attentive as can be but the food almost took an hour to be served. This may have been due to to-go orders or orders that'd be delivered to visitors at the ranch needing to be cooked and prepped as well. The amount of seating at the restaurant and the wait time for food just doesn't make much sense. They have to be severely understaffed in the kitchen. If I hadn't come with company we had met to eat here, I likely would've taken my business else where. :/ With that being said, the food was still really good. I had the breakfast sandwich with the side salad and have to say that the sandwich got a spicy kick to it. The salad ain't no bagged salad-- it's that good type with those types of seeds you don't really know what they are but they compliment the greens real well. (I also liked the fresh strawberries that came in the salad and typically fresh fruit with other food susses me out)

And it's almost as if they extracted the natural saltiness. The portion was fair. On that note, remember this is a resort, so you will probably be dismayed if you factor-in price in your evaluation. That is, there is no value at Bresada Ranch, but that's expected. The Kale and hazelnut salad was very good, but lacked "pop" like almost every dish at the resort. They seem very hesitant to use any spice. Ask for extra lemon and be generous with it. I was excited to see padron peppers on the menu, but (again) they were incredibly bland. Moreover, there's no hint that they're roasted. The amount of sea salt was appropriate though. The hanger steak was a bit tough and the red onion marmalade too charred, but I still enjoyed this dish. It was the winner amongst our four entrees. The bucatinni pasta: meh. What saved the meal were probably the best Smores I've experienced. Simple right: just three ingredients over a fire. Here it's homemade graham crackers, an excellent non-processed square-shaped marshmellow, and above Hershey grade chocolate. Love the fire pit and the roasting sticks. If you're renting a cabin, I'd opt for delicious home cooked meals then head down to their restaurants for dessert.
