Wonderful food!! Drove an hour down to Danville for Ramsay's and it did not disappoint! Food was excellent! Started off with some of their bread, a wedge salad & the crab cake. The best wedge salad i've ever had. Big pieces of bacon, lots of blue cheese dressing.. it was amazing. For our main course we had a filet, scallops and a ribeye. Steak were cooked perfectly & scallops were great as well. Definitely worth the drive, we will be back! read more

The food was absolutely awesome. Their wait staff on the other hand needs serious training. We were there on Friday, December 19, 2025 with a group of 10, five couples. We had a reservations for 615 and were seated on time after arriving early. Three hours later we still did not have our check after suffering very unprofessional wait service. I'm not gonna go into details other than to say that there were multiple comments about the waiter and additional service vining disconnected. I think they can certainly overcome this, but it was obvious that significant corporate in general training is in order. We were clearly not the only table suffering the service issue. So, if I had to break down the rating, it would be a 5+ for the food but a 1 or less for service. The manager and supervisor were both involved in our experience, so hoping they took this lesson to heart as well. read more

We did come on Christmas so I'm assuming they didn't have their full staff because they also were not seating guests at 100% capacity and we had to wait 3 hours before getting a reservation. The girls at the check-in were completely ignoring us. The food was mediocre. I will say our waiter and waitress were very friendly, but they also handed us a receipt that showed the gratuity amounts which were way off. Thankfully we noticed and they blamed it on an IT issue, but I told him they should tell people that before customers assume their math is correct and over tip. We had breakfast here about 1 month ago. No wait, only one other customer there. The waitress was nice. Coffee was great. I ordered Crème Brûlée French toast. Doesn't that sound delicious. It was 2 very dry pieces of bread with some glaze on top and zero, seriously it had zero flavor. I added some syrup but the bread was so dry and it was cold I might add. I ordered sausage and received bacon. (2 items I ordered). I was just going to eat it but my friend let the waitress know I ordered sausage. The sausage was tasty. The hostess was very pleasant and friendly. Our server, Darius, was extremely helpful in helping us with our dinner selection. Darius was very vibrant and made our dining experience very enjoyable. When the meals arrived, we were surprised at how large the portions were. The salad was definitely large enough to satisfy two people. The food was cooked to perfection, with the ribeye being super tender and juicy, while the fish was crispy on the outside and meaty inside. My wife took me here for my birthday with a couple of friends, Nanette our server was wonderfull! She is a keeper Mr.Ramsay! The table and seating was very comfortable. We all had different Mains, My bone in Ribeye was perfectly cooked. The crispy brussell sprouts were execellent, nice mix of the balsimic and something that made them just a touch sweet. May have been the pork belly? My wonderful wife had the Beef Wellington as this was a bucket list item for her and she was NOT disapointed. Our friends had the Fish and chips and a Fillet. First, the fish was huge! I will have that my next visit!. The fillet was wonderfull from what I was told. I was wonderfully supprised that my desert, the cheesecake was on the house as it was my birthday and it was fantastic. The Wife had the stickey toffee and i didn't hear a word from her while she was eating. This also was the first time that I had not asked for salt, It was all perfectly seasoned. Now I know Gordon likes honesty when talking about food, so with that said. My only disapointment was the lobstertail. It was perfectly cooked and absolutly delicious. But for the price it was very very small. That however did not take away from the great experience we all had. It was a very nice touch for the staff to sign a birthday card for me as well. The food is always delicious here! The sweet hostess, Anna was very kind and attentive to us as we had to wait a bit for our reservation.

The minute we walked up the wait staff was amazingly hospitable. We had the Caesar and onion soup - both delicious. For our mains, we had the Wellington and chicken Milanese, both cooked perfectly. The best part of our experience though was our waiter Darius. We read other glowing reviews, but he surpassed our expectations and went above and beyond. Menu was just a bit pricey, but we thought it was worth it. Darius was wonderful and we hope to be back to see him soon! read more

Okay: Let's keep it real, shall we? Since GR likes to keep it real! Breakfast. The eggs were overcooked even though my husband and I both told the staff we wanted soft scrambled, super dry. No one can follow simple directions. The bacon was good and the breakfast potato's were good, they had a bit of a lemon flavor that made them yummy. My husband paid 20 dollars for French Toast, beware, they bring you one piece of normal size of bread. It literally was nothing. He left hungry. We went back for dinner, the hotel is limited on places to eat. So we went back because it was either GR again, or the food court! We got the filet. Mine was divine. Great cut of meat and cooked perfectly, my husbands was rare, they got it confused with another party at our table: the mac and cheese was good, it's unique with a smoked flavor. The salad was not good, we've had better at a chillis or longhorn. We ordered the fried corn hush puppy appetizer, omg, gross! All bread and nothing but soggy corn juice inside and they serve them in this god awful bitter orange sauce. The menu is limited, the prices ado not commiserate with food quality, they are over priced. But the service is what killed it for us. No one can cook a soft scramble egg and serving a rare steak when we asked for medium because you can't keep up with a table of 4, just shows the service quality is NOT there. If Gordon Ramsay is going to put his name on a restaurant he needs to ensure that the staff is trained properly. We won't go back. read more

This is the 5th Ramsay restaurant my daughter has eaten at. She is currently pregnant and went here to add to her love of all that is Ramsay. She states she had the shrimp risotto which the shrimp still had poop in it and the risotto was over-cooked and clumpy. She was advised to not return it by her spouse. I told her to call and complain but she won't...so i am speaking on her behalf. My family took me here for my birthday tonight and SJ and the chef made it the most memorable dining experience we have ever had in this area. SJ was at our table immediately welcoming us and offering cocktail suggestions. I went with the El Diablo and it was the best crafted cocktail I have ever had. My daughter said her cosmo was the best she ever had. We got the Parker House rolls for appetizer along with the corn/pepper balls. Both were excellent! SJ actually informed us to only order 1 plate of the corn which I thought was great as she was not worried about ticket additions but our experience. For dinner we had the Beef Wellington (excellent), Crispy skin Salmon (excellent, but daughter wasn't crazy about the green curry sauce-picky eater), Risotto (excellent) and the Filet (PERFECTLY cooked med. rare, excellent). After finishing dinner SJ told us about mother Ramsay's Sticky Toffee Pudding and we were sold! What a delicious dessert! And to top it off, the chef comped it for my birthday and placed a piece of chocolate on it with edible paint saying 'Happy Birthday'. I also received a hand written Birthday card with all staff saying something nice. I've never heard of a restaurant doing this! So, with all of this, I just want to say THANKS to SJ, the chef and crew for making this a very memorable dinner for not only myself but my family. I'm writing to share a very disappointing experience my husband and I had at Ramsay's Kitchen inside Caesars Casino in Danville, Virginia on Saturday, May 3, 2025. We had made a point to rush back from Lynchburg specifically to enjoy the Beef Wellington--a dish we were genuinely excited to try and had been looking forward to all day. We arrived at 9:40 PM, well before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, only to be abruptly turned away by the hostess, Rhianna. She was dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to work with us in any way. Rhianna claimed the restaurant could not seat us due to "large parties" already dining, but that explanation was clearly inaccurate. As seen in the attached photos--and as witnessed by multiple guests before and after us--the restaurant was nowhere near full. Several other guests were also turned away with the same excuse and left equally confused and frustrated. After walking away, still stunned by how we were treated, my husband and I returned around 9:50 PM to ask why we were being denied service when the restaurant was visibly under capacity and still open. Only after firmly insisting to speak with a manager were we finally connected with one--a very kind gentleman who sincerely apologized for the situation and offered to seat us. While we appreciated his professionalism and his willingness to make things right, the damage had already been done. After the disrespectful and dismissive treatment we received from the hostess, we no longer felt welcome or comfortable dining there and respectfully declined his offer. We left incredibly disappointed--not only by the missed opportunity to enjoy a special meal we had made a point to come back for, but also by the lack of hospitality and courtesy we encountered. This is not the level of service anyone should expect from a restaurant carrying Gordon Ramsay's name or operating under the Caesars brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that proper steps are taken to ensure guests are treated with professionalism and respect--especially during posted hours of operation. read more

For the price point, I was expecting greatness but unfortunately that's not what I got. Only two things could not have been improved upon - the potato puree and the sticky toffee pudding. Everything else came up short but a little or a lot. The duxelles in the beef Wellington was too salty and the pastry was, well....it had a soggy bottom. The beef was great, but I ended up scraping away the duxelles and the bottom pastry. The onion soup was bitter and also too salty. The crispy Brussel sprouts were not at all crispy and were far too vinegary and salty - I ate two and gave up. The bacon in the wedge salad was odd - sweet and not at all smokey and worked against the delicious blue cheese dressing. While the Parker rolls were tasty, the texture was that of day-old bread and the butter was grainy. We were there on Friday afternoon and were told that dinner seating would not occur until later, so we left and then returned around 5 o'clock. There was no indication that a reservation would be required. The hostess curtly informed us that we needed a reservation even though that had not been communicated to us when we had been there an hour earlier saying in a rude and unprofessional tone only that the lunch staff didn't know what the dinner staff needed. She curtly refused to seat us, offered us no seating at the bar or otherwise, telling us in a rude and abrupt manner only that the next seating available was at 7 o'clock - 2 hours later - even though the restaurant was half empty at the time. This is not what we would expect from a Ramsay establishment. We will not be back. read more

This was our first time to the casino and to the restaurant. We were a party of five celebrating a birthday. Reservations were easy to get. Our server seemed to have substantial timing issues and feeling comfortable with what flow everything should go in. For example, she immediately took our appetizer order, but failed to offer drinks. It wasn't until after the appetizers were delivered that we had to ask her to please take our drink order. The steaks were not prepared correctly as everything was overcooked. The waitress began clearing the dinner table while two people were still eating, asking us about dessert before everyone was even done. Again, her timing was off and was certainly not up to the standards that you would expect for a 300+ dollar meal. very disappointing. read more
