Fried Catfish, green beans and macaroni and cheese
Lauren W.

Best food we've had in a while! My husband and I got the fried catfish and pulled chicken sandwich. The macaroni and cheese was excellent. Great southern food, friendly staff and great price for food too! The only thing I would change is more wines by the glass!

Delicious deviled eggs with pickles.

The food is outstanding, service is amazing and ambiance is welcoming. I'll be back. These people know how to cook and we've it right.

We were anxiously awaiting the reopening of King Cropp at their new location. It was definitely worth the wait! The food is just as excellent as it was at their first location, and the space is larger with more variety for tables/seating arrangements. They have a great patio area that will be so wonderful during the warmer months. If you are a vegetarian (or like me just prefer to eat a lot of vegetables), this is definitely the place to go! The pizza specials included a fully vegetarian, gluten free option, and the macaroni and cheese is vegetarian (as a side or as part of a Mac bowl or other meal). There is a fully vegan entree (tempura sesame cauliflower), as well as a few sides to choose from. On to the details about what we ordered - I had the sparkling Italian white wine and my husband tried the Danvegas cocktail (both excellent). We ordered the fried pickles appetizer which comes with ranch and spiralized carrots/baby greens. I had The Chief (vegetarian Buffalo cauliflower Mac and cheese), and my husband had a half order of jumbo shrimp. We finished with blueberries and cream crème brûlée - it reminded me of the crème brûlée I had in Morocco 10 years ago. It was so good - highly recommended!! We can't wait to go back and try other menu items and specials.

First time at this restaurant and the food was amazing. Very pretty presentation and great service. Nicole was a very attentive server and very friendly. The food was good quality southern cooking at a somewhat fine dining price. But, we have leftovers. Definitely will go back and hopefully it will be cool enough to sit outside. It was a bit noisy inside and very warm. Side note: bell ringing was annoying

This place is probably my most favorite go to spot in Danville for a day date, a spot to chill with…read morea book, a mother-daughter date, a girls night out, or a family lunch spot. There is so much they offer. As far as eating they have Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel!), hot if cold sandwiches (the Jezabel ham!), salads (green ones but I love chicken salad), specialty pizzas (Neapolitan Nod!), and charcuterie boards! Then there is an extensive selection of teas, espresso based drinks, and wines (white, red, or sparking). You can enjoy a glass or a bottle. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. They keep it clean, always have a smile and kind word, and make sure their staff has that same spirit. This places puts the best out there for Danville.

The breakfast menu did not have much for me, but I was happy that I settled on a texturally intriguing apple crumble cake and paired it with a contrasting vegetal tea, which came loose leaf and ready to steep. Service was on the only slow side with only one person, presumably the owner, working. It was the sort of place where many would come for ambiance and sit a while.

Ok first of all I never order boneless wings but when I share with my wife she likes boneless…read morewings. So we got Boneless lemon pepper with a side of hot honey and ranch. As I cut a piece of the chicken, I noticed it was extremely tender. I also noticed that it appeared to be chunks of a breast hand battered. I dipped the chicken into the hot honey and then the ranch. OMG it was the BEST boneless chicken wing I've ever had! Seasoned perfectly with lemon pepper and cooked to perfection. We ate the whole plate of chicken! Brooke was our server and she said she was going to try them herself later. She was very helpful and offered a wide variety of food and drink options. I like when staff has actually tried the food and drinks to be able to offer and honest opinion. I ordered a river District, social margarita and a rum punch. Both were very good. The inside is so cool. The restaurant is a warehouse that they've turned to a recreational building to include pool tables, bowling alleys, and golf simulators. We will definitely be coming back!

Came in on a Tuesday night with my best friend for the $5 burger deal, which is a solid start. Just…read moreknow you are getting their standard burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and fries. Simple and classic. We both made a few tweaks. She skipped the onions, added ketchup and mustard, and got a side salad. I kept mine simple with no ketchup or mustard. Food came out fast. Appetizer and burgers hit the table in just over five minutes, which was impressive. The burgers were good. Not over the top, but juicy and worth the price. The only miss was the bun. It was cold and could have used a quick toast or at least some heat. The house salad was fresh with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, cheese, and croutons. I tried to swap my fries for sweet potato fries and ended up getting both, so no complaints there. Just know the sweet potato fries count as extra. Fries came out hot and stayed hot. The sweet potato fries had a nice balance, not soggy, not too hard. The corn fritters were the standout. Crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside. Service from Amber or Shannon was great. Attentive, friendly, and helpful. The only slowdown came at the end. It took longer to get the check than it did to receive the food. The space is in a reclaimed industrial building with exposed brick and high ceilings. Very large and open with plenty of room for groups and events. There is a main dining area, a busy bar, and a separate section with bowling lanes. The crowd was mixed. Families, couples, groups, people at the bar, even a few on laptops. Plenty of TVs and music, but it stays at a manageable level. Accessibility is decent with a lift available. Parking is nearby street or lot parking. Overall, a fun, casual place with strong value, especially on Tuesday nights. Must order: Corn fritters Heads up: Buns may come out cold and sweet potato fries are an extra
