This place is probably my most favorite go to spot in Danville for a day date, a spot to chill with a book, a mother-daughter date, a girls night out, or a family lunch spot. There is so much they offer. As far as eating they have Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel!), hot if cold sandwiches (the Jezabel ham!), salads (green ones but I love chicken salad), specialty pizzas (Neapolitan Nod!), and charcuterie boards! Then there is an extensive selection of teas, espresso based drinks, and wines (white, red, or sparking). You can enjoy a glass or a bottle. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. They keep it clean, always have a smile and kind word, and make sure their staff has that same spirit. This places puts the best out there for Danville. read more

I came to this place for breakfast out of need. The lunch/early dinner menu is more suited to my needs, having vegetarian options like quinoa salad and a decent variety of pizzas. The breakfast menu did not have much for me, but I was happy that I settled on a texturally intriguing apple crumble cake and paired it with a contrasting vegetal tea, which came loose leaf and ready to steep. I love a cool coffe shop and Crema & Vine is just that. Back in the city where I was born, Danville, VA this coffe shop serves patron and gets rather busy. The service is very hospitable and accommodating. I ordered the beet salad because I'm on my healthy wave right now and beets are extremely good for blood flow. The parking lot is huge so you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot. The beet salad itself was great, really loved the walnuts, beets and homemade dressing. The earl grey tea hot is also one of my faves, the way it is presented is very cool. Thanks for an awesome meal/experience. read more

Super cute little cafe that also doubles as wine bar. Ample parking and off the main area in Danville. There's inside seating (tables and couches/chairs), as well as outdoor seating in a covered patio. There's also an uncovered outside area to sit. We went for breakfast. Had Americano, regular coffee, and a breakfast flatbread with chorizo (get this). Very tasty all around. They have several options of breakfast sandwiches, etc. They also have tea if magical bean juice isn't your thing. They have a lunch/dinner menu as well as tons of wine to enjoy there or take to go. They even have the machines where you can pay for a certain oz pour. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice place to stop for breakfast. I am sure that their lunch/dinner is just as good. My mother in law recommended this place. Quick walking distance from the hospital... around a half mile. The parking lot is pretty big. There is a patio for outdoor seating. The bathrooms are single with 1 toilet . They have a huge variety of wines & beers. The place was very packed inside and it's a nice spot to work or have lunch. My husband got a beer salad and I got the turkey sandwich. It was rather bland. I had to kept going up to the counter about 3x to ask for things that was forgotten. So apparently Danville is overrun by Starbucks and there's only one " coffee shop" open on Sunday and we like to choose locally owned business. Crema and Vine did not have much regarding coffee and breakfast items; I think they're betting heavy on the afternoon crowd, with beer, seltzer and wine. I did see a good price on a bottle of Caymus. The outdoor area is larger than the indoor area and honestly, this is the only clear exit. As soon as you enter the building, you will be awkwardly standing in line beside full wine bottles of wine...do NOT let children go in this way or feel free to add a few broken bottles of wine to your tab. Items available are listed on a chalkboard above the staff at cash wrap so make sure you make your selection from the online menu before entering, so as not dilly-dally with indecisiveness while people in line roll their eyes behind you. With that being said, my bf saw a small sign advertising their Lavender Matcha so I asked if an alternative milk was available with it and chose almond milk, iced. The lady at the register said it had a sweet syrup already in it. It was definitely not sweet, I sipped the concoction even though it wasn't mixed and had chunks of undissolved matcha powder. I let it sit a while, stirring it occasionally to get some syrup off the bottom; didn't help. 20 minutes later, while trying to add my own vanilla syrup at home, the powder was not dissolved. Guess I'll try their coffee if I'm ever in Danville on a Sunday. But, the eclectic decor reminds me of a dark castle, lots of black and a few oddities here and there. Spotted a few games in the corner and an actual jazz pianist was playing (11 am in the morning). There are no biscuits on the menu, only bagels, English muffins, flatbread or toast. I wasn't impressed with my bf's coffee either; missing the coffee flavor and the syrups they use have too heavy of a density which means it sinks to the bottom of your drink in a layer so stir continuously (if you get iced). Waiting for our order, we sat on a couch that had some furry cushions so when we stood up, the hair or fur was all over my clothes and in the air around us. Maybe we should had stood while waiting but the orders were being placed faster than they could produce them so people were shuffling around. I would like to try a visit here in the afternoon since the menu has charcuterie style platters in addition to a self-serve wine tasting wall. read more

We tried the following options: Chorizo breakfast burrito, palmetto bagel, Jezebel Sandwich, Langhorne sandwich, and Danvillian sandwich. Our favorites were certainly the breakfast items... the chorizo was so flavorful on the toasted burrito and the pimento cheese is amazing on the everything bagel. Of the sandwiches, we enjoyed the Langhorne the most... I was a little thrown off that it was cold, but the ham Brie and jam complemented each other so well. Nice little cafe. I bought a bag of their barista blend for my home espresso use. Fantastic! Sweet, Balanced, Delicious! My wife loves it in a latte. While I was there I had a caramel latte and it was quite good. If I can make one critique it is the steamed milk foam was rather course. It had large visible bubbles and not proper micro-foam. Of the places I visited in Danville Crema & Vine was my favorite. Starting with the ambiance, you could tell the owner really took the time to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee came out super quick and had a nice balance of espresso to milk. Which can be tricky to nail. I would have loved more alternative milk options, but I'm from Richmond so maybe I'm a little spoiled with the options there. Food was directly handed to me, and staff seemed super friendly. Definitely didn't go unnoticed. In terms of the avocado toast it really could've used seasoning or sauce. It lacked overall flavor but the texture and freshness of ingredients were nice. Wonderful, wonderful spot for coffee, wine, beer and food! I stopped here on the way to a football game and I was so glad I stopped. It's a cool cafe in Danville, not far from Averett University. As soon as I saw cafe on the sign, I immediately slowed my car to a crawl and turned right in to the parking lot. We walked right past a couple with a cute little dog (I think it was a poodle?) sitting outside and having coffee. Immediate good vibes! I'm so happy I haven't been dieting lately, but there are actually some really good keto snacks here! We ordered a couple of sandwiches plus the sweet snacks from the front. Food was out before we could settle into that comfy sofa. The employees are all so friendly that I couldn't help but smile with gratitude. I stopped in to Crema & Vine every day while on a work trip and I still think about it many moons later. The coffees in the morning saved me, the wine, cheese platters and pizzas after leaving the racetrack revived me. I enjoyed everything about it. This is our favorite restaurant to stop at in Danville when we're headed back to Charlotte from Northern Virginia. The flatbread pizzas are delicious, my wife loved the avocado and turkey sandwich tonight. We also love that they are dog friendly, we were able to eat on the porch and our golden retrievers. The dogs enjoyed it, there's water for them and even treats from the owner. There frequently is a big poker game going when we are here, and it's great to see all the lively interaction. What a fantastic menu! This was my first visit and I saw the bagel and lox option online and was craving it before we arrived. It was absolutely delicious and the bagel texture was perfect! My companion ordered a sundried tomato and goat cheese pizza which was very good, but there were lots of other offerings I'm eager to try on future visits. Excellent selection of bottled wine to take away or drink in, plus myriad coffee and tea offerings. The patio was unavailable due to weather and interior seating is a few tables, some club chairs and a couple sofas, but thankfully we secured a small table and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My wife and I have lived here for a year and decided it was long overdue to start exploring to local businesses more. I've passed by Crema and Vine multiple times and one day we were discussing going out for breakfast and I suggested it. We usually get iced lattes because they always have just enough of whatever it is that makes iced lattes so good. My wife likes to try the various breakfast sandwiches. Being from the west coast, I'm a sucker for any combination of turkey, avocado, and sourdough but most places never do sourdough right; Creama and Vine does it right. Once we order they give us a number to find us and we go find a seat. Outside there's lots of seating; regular tables and some more casual outdoor furniture. Most of it is covered and some of it is not so there sure to be something that fits your taste. They're also dog friendly if you sit outside. Inside has some regular tables, high tables, communal seating, and some couches to keep it casual. They also have lots of fun art, nice decor, and a lot of wine. We've only been here in the mornings, but they are also a wine bar and have events though I haven't visited for any of those. read more
