    Tropical fruit crepe
    John B.

In what must be one of the few small towns in Virginia I haven't been to, I was struggling for an option when I came upon this place, which offers some Asian rice and noodle dishes but also fancy desserts, including crepes and rolled ice cream. Their cold plate was not functioning, not a great thing for them in the sweltering heat, but I was intrigued by the crepe selection and ended up with a fruit-filled creation with kiwi, banana, and strawberries. The crepe itself was quite browned, and ice cream made it filling. The fruit was layered throughout, making for a satisfying if somewhat messy eating experience. They had a vegetable fried rice but relatively limited overall if you wanted any protein without meat. As a dessert place, they fit the bill for what I needed.

This place is amazing. It's a small place with only a few seats, but this is the best place to get food! The staff is so friendly and nice and also helpful if you have anu questions about anything on the menu. I had never had a savory crepe before, and these crepes were beautifully wrapped in a flower shape. It was loaded with shrimp, chicken, crab, cucumbers, teriyaki sauce, etc. It was delicious. I've never had anything like it. I hope to be able to go back and try their sushi, and some of their dessert crepes, it all looked really good.

Food is always good and fresh. The service is great they are very nice people. The ambiance is great the restaurant is clean and quiet.

Meant to come here for rolled ice cream but their ice cream is still broken so I ordered sweet crepe instead. Coming from Asia, I've had sweet crepe all the time especially the Japanese sweet crepe which makes it popular. In my opinion, Coco Ni has done a great job on this. The cream they put on it is made from yogurt which goes very well with the fruity toppings. It's also not very sweet which is healthier. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean especially the bathroom! You can tell one cares about the cleanliness by judging from the bathroom. It's spotless. Being a restaurant in a small town like this and still serves one of the best crepes in the US is beyond my compliment. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Excellent counter service. Clean and bright. Extensive menu of gluten free items. You can have lunch or dinner and dessert too. You can just opt for dessert if you like or a savory treat. Interesting concept. They were out of egg rolls on my first visit here but I was able to enjoy a chicken roll( delicious) crab puffs( delicious) and the cookie lover Thai ice cream! If you are used to the lower quality crab puffs you might not enjoy these. These are quality and it is evident in the taste. Crunchy! Not overly sweet either. I will be returning when in town again. My only gripe is they appeared short staffed and since they make everything to order, the wait can be long.

Every ingredient you see here tastes as fresh as it can be!

You won't find better sushi in the area! Super friendly owners. They brought our little girls food out first and very quickly which made us smile. If you're in Danville please eat here!

This is the most pleasant culinary surprise for me as a Danville native who is recently visiting and having a hard time finding something worth going out for. My friends and I were in the mood for sushi rolls and this was recommended. It was my first time. We were greeted with a smile, our order taken quickly. The space was clean and tidy and our order didn't take long to receive. We got the spicy shrimp roll and the spicy tuna roll, as well as fried pork dumplings (gyoza) and 2 egg rolls. All of the food was great, with the rolls not only exceeding anything available in the area, but better than a lot I've had at Sushi restaurants around the country in bigger metropolitan cities (i.e. Raleigh, Charlotte, San Antonio). I have yet to try the crepes, sushi burritos, or Thai ice cream, but I imagine I will. This is a surefire bet for hidden gem here. I highly recommend.

    Delicious sushi burrito!!!

Some of the best sushi. I would recommend the sushi burrito, eggs rolls and crab Rangoon

Golden Sushi Burrito is a must have!! The wait time was less than 30 minutes. Little pricey, but it is worth it. They are close on Monday.

YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. The reviews were glowing, and repeatedly warned about the wait, that my expectations were probably set too high going in. I got the steak and eggs crepe and added avocado, extra steak, and kale. The eggs sit on top, and mine came closer to over-hard than the over-medium I asked for -possibly from sitting in the to-go box for 15 minutes, so I'll give some benefit of the doubt there. The crepe itself was tasty, and honestly I'd come back to try something off the sweets menu. But the fillings didn't land. The steak was a little chewy, and the mushrooms were cut too thick for a crepe -- they made it hard to cut cleanly and felt out of place. The add-ons I'll leave alone since those were my call. Overall the dish felt fairly run-of-the-mill against the hype. One note: this might be a dish better served by not allowing customizations, to keep it consistent to its intent. What threw me is that "steak and eggs" is the menu item, yet they also offer a carne asada crepe with no eggs ...so the only real difference is eggs placed on top, which doesn't change the crepe itself. Felt clear as mud after unboxing my meal. The latte I got was standard. Nothing wrong with it, nothing memorable. TL:DR this read as a solid fallback breakfast more than the must-try the reviews promised. The dogs I saw at the outside tables kept this closer to a 3.5 than falling on the other side of 3.

It's not good, either, but it's exceedingly average. In terms of the definitive ranking of coffee on the plaza, Joe Van Gogh is a clear first, followed by here, and then a close third is ABP. Unfortunately, the service here is perhaps the worst on campus. Now I don't like to be rude - although I might have a penchant for the dramatic - but it's truly unbearable. They have two registers, so it's a guessing game as to which will serve you first. Then, you have to wait to be served. I have waited at the register for over 2-3 minutes, repeatedly trying to make eye contact with anyone who is working there, only to continue to be ignored, with not even a slight recognition that, in fact, they did see me and are going to serve me when they are ready. I have been asked to go to the other register, only to have the person directly behind me be served immediately, and I have had to actually leave the Café because it had been so long without service. Honestly, if you can, go to Joe Van Gogh, and if it's closed, save yourself the headache and go to ABP - the quality might be a little worse, but at least you'll be served. FOOD/COFFEE QUALITY (1.5/5) * I can only really speak to the coffee, but it's mediocre. * Other friends have said that the crepes are mediocre. SERVICE (0.5/5) * I've said everything I need to say above. * In a word, ugh. AMBIANCE (2/5) * This is probably its strong point. Located in West Union, the ambiance and feel is great. FOOD/COFFEE SELECTION (4/5) * Rather wide - crepes, sandwiches, and a full coffee bar. Rounds down to 1/5 stars.

There was also a proper bar with both a bartender and barstool seating if you wanted to pull up a stool and enjoy a beverage.
