This place is as of this writing in front of a substantial amount of road construction that looks like it may take years to finish at the rate things get done these days. It remains open and is substantial inside. The option to order both a salad and a sweet crepe was welcome. The salad was filling and a little roughage does one good with an ice cream crepe coming. My banana foster crepe was cinnamon coated on the inside and the banana was freshly carmelized. It was on point. This was not a place that seemed to cater to niche dietary needs and did not, as far as I could tell, offer buckwheat crepes that sometimes help in that department. Came here with my mom on a Thursday morning/afternoon.because of the construction downtown it was a little hard to find but Service was prompt and friendly! We both got crepes and an arugula salad . I got the prosciutto and peach crepe with a honey and oat iced latte! Everything was delicious! My only complain were the small tables. Something new for breakfast since living here never went. Today we tried crepes and coffee. Seating really weird and finding where you order not clearly identified. Most places have order here signs. Ordered two crepes 1 was strawberries and other was BLT . Both were under cooking in crepes , very gluey rubbery. Could only stomach the insides which was good. Went one and box checked off. I know I'm going to be the odd one out, but I don't understand all the high reviews here... We went at the recommendation of a store owner down the street, and were not very impressed. To begin with the hours are strange, and they close super early imo. We stopped by maybe 30 min. or an hour before closing and were the only customers there. The employee working the register wasn't too friendly. The employees weren't directly rude, but it seemed like they wanted us out quick, maybe to close early? But it wasn't even closing time and they didn't say anything to us about leaving. Our order was to go anyways, so we just ate in the car. The prices were also expensive for what you get. I had the crepe brûlée. Would not recommend... hardly any strawberries and flavor was lacking. Disappointing considering the main items for here are crepes. Plus, the poptart was really sour and could've used more filling. Maybe the lunch crepes are better? Honestly the one star is just for the other bakery item's presentation (poptarts/brownies) and the store decor. Don't know if I would try again. read more

I've now been here a few times but the one fault I would hold against this place would be the pricing. If you're coming here and order anything more than just one item, your wallet may ache a little. Getting that one critique out of the way, the rest of what this place does is nothing short of fantastic. The crepes are thin and delicious and the fillings inside are phenomenal. They make most of everything from scratch and it shows. The sweet crepes are delicious and a tasty dessert and the one savory crepe I've had was filling and unique. The balsamic glaze really connected the dish together. Another thing that I was amazed was the quality of the croissants here. For a crepe place I didn't expect their other non-crepe menu items to be any good but the ham and cheese croissant was phenomenal. Shatteringly crisp and delicious. The cheese is melty and gooey in all the right ways as you eat your way through this fresh baked good. The interior is interesting and very cute. At the end of the day, I would see myself going back as a guilty pleasure but I simply don't have the income to maintain regular visits to this otherwise tasty location. read more

This place is a Lynchburg staple, with an awesome variety of baked goods and specialty crepes that are both fantastic. My crew got the Caprese crepe, Bacon and Mushroom crepe, Avacado BLT crepe, and their 'Pop-tart' pastries. All were quality menu items, and everyone enjoyed them. I particularly loved the Caprese crepe, and thought the pesto was especially rich and flavorful. The staff is very friendly and cares a lot about quality in their food and dining areas. Tasty crepes! Nice and thin and not spongy or weak like some I've had elsewhere. I didn't see a create-your-own option, but we both chose off the normal menu and were happy. (Ham & Cheese, and Berry Cheesecrepe - yum!) We took them around the corner to eat at outdoor tables, because the place was a bit smoky (they must have just had a bit of a kitchen accident) and there was live music coming from the farmers market next door (on Saturday morning). It was slightly hard to find the place because their door is inside off a hallway to the rest of the building. Incredible! My girlfriend and I stopped here for breakfast after staying at James River State Park, and we had no idea just how good it would be. I got the Avocado BLT and she got the Hazelberry, and both were incredible. We got there 15 minutes before closing but were still helped happily and the food was just as good as any other time. Wonderful breakfast stop! Great "rolled up" crepes, and very good pastries. We regularly frequent and I love the hazel berry (Nutella and strawberries) and my husband often chooses the ham & cheese. We always have to get pastries to go as they're so good and handmade. Nice staff, often just one person working so you have to wait maybe 10-15mins for food but well worth it and there's a cute gift shop next door to browse while you wait. Highly recommend! read more

As someone who didn't have much experience with crepes in any format before coming here, I didn't know what to expect. But WOW was I impressed! I first went around noon and decided to go for a savory crepe, hoping it would satisfy my lunch craving. I was doubtful that it would fill me up for a meal, but it truly proved me wrong. I got the Turkey Pesto and it was so so so yummy! Not only that, but it kept me pleasantly full until dinner, without making me feel stuffed. Since then, I have tried various other crepes. The Turkey Pesto remains a favorite, but the Caprese was a pleasant surprise as well, cementing it as another savory favorite. In terms of sweet, I have come to adore the Apple Pretzel Pie. If you want dessert and like cinnamon apples, get it! A special mention goes out to the Maple Bacon Apples as well. It is a lovely sweet and savory combo, perfect for a Saturday brunch. In addition to the incredible crepes, a hidden gem of the store are the pastries. Throughout the week, they have various treats, all baked fresh in house from scratch, which definitely shows in the flavor. But if you come on Saturdays, they have an abundance of sweet AND savory bakes, all of which look incredible. I am slowly working my way through all of them, but I've yet to try one I didn't like. Some personal favorites are the Spinach Everything Croissants and Kolaches, Cinnamon Rolls, and Pop Tarts. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't been yet! read more

This is the first visit here and tried the ABLT crepe which was very good as a lunch Crepe. avocado, candied bacon, greens, tomato with flipping sauce. Really tasteful with a light kick. Will def have that again. Also had the Peach and prosciutto crepe with honey ricotta cheese, prosciutto, basil, peach jam and balsamic reduction. Again very good. A little on the sweet side for lunch but perfect for lunch and desert combo. Can't wait to try the other selections. Very nice friendly atmosphere.
