You get a lot of food for the $$, wait staff is very friendly. Very good biscuits and gravy.

I thought Lynchburg didn't have a diner and that had always disappointed me because there's just something warm about cozy about them. Well guess what there has been one all along! I am so glad we found this place. First off the staff and guests are so kind and friendly. It's like walking into the past in the best of ways when the world is speeding up around us so much. The food was great and great portions with coffee cups that never go empty. Seriously like you won't see the bottom of your cup unless you say no to a refill :)! Truly the best American style breakfast I've had in the USA for 20+ years. I visit Lynchburg, Virginia each year and today tried Koffee Kup for the first time today (Dec 2025). All members in our group loved the quality and flavour of the food with common comments of the best gravy, best links (sausages), eggs, bacon etc. It truly was a step above the normal breakfast served in Lynchburg. But, it could be even better if they offered barista quality coffee instead of the usual bluurrggghhhh percolated America style coffee. It is so awful compared to a well made Flat White. To the owners, please get a push button barista quality coffee machine and charge $5 a cup. It would make your meals even more enjoyable. And the service was excellent and we couldn't believe how quickly it was served, and accurately to our orders. Well done everyone in Koffee Kup, Lynchburg. Will be back often. read more

One must know what you are walking into: A local mom and pop, local diner type experence. ( Like Mel's Dinner on TV) They are most excellent, the food is excellent, the price is excellent and the experence is so Local Lynchburg. You may see city officials to your priest there having a cup of coffee and a excellent breakfast. The food was good, however I pondered the menu and decided to go with a special which was tamales... To my dismay I received two tamales (not large) a small side of refried beans and a little bit of rice... Definitely was not worth the price charged. Everybody tells me this place is great however that was my first experience and I have not been back since. I usually make it a habit to give a place at least two tries to redeem themselves. This restaurant is an oasis in the desert. The omelette was great, service was like I was eating in my mama's kitchen and the coffee was better than Starbucks. I felt like I was at Cheers. Came to this popular Restaurant on Saturday morning, which may not have been a good idea. I was blown away by the crowd and a 20-minute wait. The place is relatively small so not sure how they are squeezing so many people in there. But seems to work! The wait staff were fantastic but seemed crazy busy! If you ordered coffee, your cup will be left half full. I noticed the waitresses, without even asking kept filling even half a cup. Ordered my own custom omelet, homestyle fries, and toast. They gave me plenty of toasts, I think 6 or 7 slices. Anyways it was delicious and tasty in every sense of the word! Loved the homestyle feel of this place. The prices were comparatively very fair! The absolute best for the large amount of food, the friendliness, and the great service. We found this by accident and well we are so glad we did. It is now a regular place to go. For a great meal, with prices that way below what all the other restaurants in the Lynchburg area. I ordered a turkey sandwich at one visit and the turkey was not the type you buy in the supermarket the turkey was actually cut from a cooked turkey and thick. Every time I come it's excellent. I never get the "sandwiches" because this place does breakfast really well. I have seen the burgers and was not impressed but that's not the point of this place. Its a 5 star cheap breakfast great service koffee kup always full kind of place. All the wait staff is excellent. There is one server that always says "I hope I can make your day better" she always delivers. I can get 2 eggs potatoes and a biscuit for under $5 and add a 3rd egg for 0.95. It really does have a nice diner vibe complete with friendly staff, quick service, and great food. The Koffee Kup had solid reviews and seemed to have just the greasy spoon vibe we were looking for. We were not disappointed and the service and pricing was fantastic. I've never seen a menu (pictured) with such low prices! Service was warm and welcoming, big smiles and southern hospitality. The tables were a little crammed but we were comfortable enough. Food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the table beside us had a very loud obnoxious person trying to explain how great an investor he was. Breakfast Trying to find a decent breakfast place in Lynchburg is, oddly enough, on the tough side. One of my local friends mentioned this place so I gave it a shot one weekend morning. Koffee Kup is best described as an old school diner type establishment with tables and a counter that you can sit at. Tiny open kitchen, a small dining room and maybe about 15 seats at the counter all make for a cozy atmosphere. The place gets busy - there can be a wait at the door but it generally moves pretty quick. Decent selection of menu items and everyone working there is friendly but super busy. Food comes out in pretty good time and the coffee is hot and good. Prices are very affordable and you will leave with a full belly. Definitely worth a shot if you shy away from the chain places and just want something a little more rustic. Parking lot in front. read more
