Just a little country diner with solid food. Had the breakfast at 1pm and will be back to try other things.

I still love this place so much. Such a cute little restaurant with great service and great down home cooking food. I recommend getting there early because they definitely fill up. And I have to say the prices are great for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend trying this place. read more

I thought Lynchburg didn't have a diner and that had always disappointed me because there's just something warm about cozy about them. Well guess what there has been one all along! I am so glad we found this place. First off the staff and guests are so kind and friendly. It's like walking into the past in the best of ways when the world is speeding up around us so much. The food was great and great portions with coffee cups that never go empty. Seriously like you won't see the bottom of your cup unless you say no to a refill :)! Come get your Lynchburg diner experience! read more

Our family loves this place! The staff is incredibly nice and the food is great every time. You can't beat the prices either!

You get a lot of food for the $$, wait staff is very friendly. Very good biscuits and gravy.

Staff is super friendly and always welcoming, a little spot where everyone knows you or is welcoming to get to know you! Family friendly, quick service! The food is good, some items are a little bland, but always hot and fresh! read more

Truly the best American style breakfast I've had in the USA for 20+ years. I visit Lynchburg, Virginia each year and today tried Koffee Kup for the first time today (Dec 2025). All members in our group loved the quality and flavour of the food with common comments of the best gravy, best links (sausages), eggs, bacon etc. It truly was a step above the normal breakfast served in Lynchburg. But, it could be even better if they offered barista quality coffee instead of the usual bluurrggghhhh percolated America style coffee. It is so awful compared to a well made Flat White. To the owners, please get a push button barista quality coffee machine and charge $5 a cup. It would make your meals even more enjoyable. And the service was excellent and we couldn't believe how quickly it was served, and accurately to our orders. Well done everyone in Koffee Kup, Lynchburg. Will be back often. read more

Excellent service and food ... They turn an ordinary meal into an experience ... Brought back a flood of pleasant memories ... The food is an excellent value for the money and the ambiance is relaxing ... read more

The service here is always great. The food is hot and the prices are very reasonable.

The food was good, however I pondered the menu and decided to go with a special which was tamales... To my dismay I received two tamales (not large) a small side of refried beans and a little bit of rice... Definitely was not worth the price charged. Everybody tells me this place is great however that was my first experience and I have not been back since. I usually make it a habit to give a place at least two tries to redeem themselves. I have not made it back for the second time yet. read more

One must know what you are walking into: A local mom and pop, local diner type experence. ( Like Mel's Dinner on TV) They are most excellent, the food is excellent, the price is excellent and the experence is so Local Lynchburg. You may see city officials to your priest there having a cup of coffee and a excellent breakfast. If you are new to LYH or born and raised here you own it to yourself to go check things out. read more

How is it even possible to cook such good food and so fast in that little kitchen but they do it and it's so dang good... they treat you like you're an old friend. I love this place. read more

The food was great the best fried potatoes I have ever had, wonderful service. Very homely.

Excellent service, food was served quickly. Nice ambience for a local restaurant. We'll be stopping by again when I'm in town.

Can't wait to go back! Service was great and food came out fast! Breakfast was delicious!

Came to this popular Restaurant on Saturday morning, which may not have been a good idea. I was blown away by the crowd and a 20-minute wait. The place is relatively small so not sure how they are squeezing so many people in there. But seems to work! The wait staff were fantastic but seemed crazy busy! If you ordered coffee, your cup will be left half full. I noticed the waitresses, without even asking kept filling even half a cup. Ordered my own custom omelet, homestyle fries, and toast. They gave me plenty of toasts, I think 6 or 7 slices. Anyways it was delicious and tasty in every sense of the word! Loved the homestyle feel of this place. The prices were comparatively very fair! Highly recommend this place! Hope to come back again someday soon! read more

This restaurant is an oasis in the desert. The omelette was great, service was like I was eating in my mama's kitchen and the coffee was better than Starbucks. I felt like I was at Cheers. Everyone knew each other but treated a newcomer like family. A surprise find in Lynchburg and highly recommended. read more

The absolute best for the large amount of food, the friendliness, and the great service. We found this by accident and well we are so glad we did. It is now a regular place to go. For a great meal, with prices that way below what all the other restaurants in the Lynchburg area. I ordered a turkey sandwich at one visit and the turkey was not the type you buy in the supermarket the turkey was actually cut from a cooked turkey and thick. I have told friends and family about Koffee Kup and well, everyone loved it! read more

Every time I come it's excellent. I never get the "sandwiches" because this place does breakfast really well. I have seen the burgers and was not impressed but that's not the point of this place. Its a 5 star cheap breakfast great service koffee kup always full kind of place. All the wait staff is excellent. There is one server that always says "I hope I can make your day better" she always delivers. I can get 2 eggs potatoes and a biscuit for under $5 and add a 3rd egg for 0.95. It's only set back is the coffee isn't exceptional or strong. read more

Koffee Kup - Koffee. - Comfort Food Near Me - Lynchburg, Virginia

Low end breakfast food. I ordered corn beef hash and eggs. The corn beef hash came as a liquid like mess. Worst breakfast I have ever eaten. Decaf coffee ordered tasted burnt. The place looked old and tired much like most of its clientele (me included), read more

My favorite breakfast place in Lynchburg! I have gone here twice now and have been so impressed each time. It really does have a nice diner vibe complete with friendly staff, quick service, and great food. I ordered an omelet both times because they do a stellar job (very cheesy, full of veggies, customizable, and stays together nicely). Home fries are cooked perfectly (crispy but not too crispy). I've taken family here because I know Koffee Kup is reliable for a sit down breakfast. I'll be back soon! read more

Always great food, better than great service , it's a down home feeling! Great Athmosphere!!!

First-time coming to the Kup, reminds me of the old roadside diners, good food cooked in earshot of the table, and when your food arrives you look at your plate and wonder how am I supposed to eat all of this, my hats off to the cook's exceptional cooking. Ownership and management have put together a fantastic service team that will make your visits easy and relaxing so you can enjoy your meal with the Koffee Kup family, and enjoy when you're ready for a refill no need to as your waitress is 9 times out of 10 already asking you if you would like a refill, I don't think you will be disappointed if you come on by and have a bite, y'all hungry hurry up now. read more

Off the beaten path excellent staff and food we have stopped here several times mark as a favorite!!

Very disappointed. Came here for breakfast and the food was no good. You're paying for frozen potatoes and soggy bread. Staff was nice.

We were looking for a good breakfast for our last official restaurant stop on our little weekend getaway. The Koffee Kup had solid reviews and seemed to have just the greasy spoon vibe we were looking for. We were not disappointed and the service and pricing was fantastic. I've never seen a menu (pictured) with such low prices! Service was warm and welcoming, big smiles and southern hospitality. The tables were a little crammed but we were comfortable enough. We got a pretty basic bacon and eggs breakfast, then split a sausage gravy and biscuits. The biscuits were bangin: fluffy and thiccc. What a pleasant way to start a Sunday! read more

Food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the table beside us had a very loud obnoxious person trying to explain how great an investor he was. All the neighing tables could hear every word, if they wanted to or not. I ordered a pair of ear plugs from the waitress but she explained they didn't have any but knew why we wanted them. read more

Ah-mazzzzing down-home cooking here in Lynchburg!! Great food served up with smiling southern hospitality!! It's s small place but they move fast!! We really enjoyed everything we ordered here-and the waitress asked if we wanted "to go" cups of coffee as we were leaving-so sweet!! If we are around these parts again- we will definitely come back!! read more

Best sausage gravy and biscuits! Fast and friendly service. Great prices!! Worth the detour off of bypass.

Breakfast Trying to find a decent breakfast place in Lynchburg is, oddly enough, on the tough side. One of my local friends mentioned this place so I gave it a shot one weekend morning. Koffee Kup is best described as an old school diner type establishment with tables and a counter that you can sit at. Tiny open kitchen, a small dining room and maybe about 15 seats at the counter all make for a cozy atmosphere. The place gets busy - there can be a wait at the door but it generally moves pretty quick. Decent selection of menu items and everyone working there is friendly but super busy. Food comes out in pretty good time and the coffee is hot and good. Prices are very affordable and you will leave with a full belly. Definitely worth a shot if you shy away from the chain places and just want something a little more rustic. Parking lot in front. read more

Very good food! Great service! Small Town, family atmosphere!

Breakfast could be dynamite ! But its not , we like the old cafe type atmosphere, but you need to present and cook your things more appealing , its blah !! read more

The food was described as country cooking by a patron who was leaving the restaurant . 1st impressions are very important. I was sorely disappointed. I ordered a 2 egg omelette with onions & green peppers. Very ordinary. I also ordered home fries w/onions. The home fries were over cooked & were hard. I also ordered white toast & got wheat toast. The best part of the meal? My Diet Coke. read more
