This is probably where I spent most my time when I traveled to meet friends in Lynchburg, VA as we enjoyed a local fall Wine Festival at Jefferson's Poplar Forest. I love everything about this cafe! The style and decor is such a cool vibe. I got a breakfast sandwich that was to die for - biscuit (made in house), egg, country ham and pimento cheese. Omg everything about it was delicious. I also tried the almond apricot sweet roll and it was heavenly. The cinnamon roll latte I got was good too, not too sweet and I could still taste the coffee (sometimes I feel like latte's are just all sugar, but not this one). The food was good and coffee was delish. The sour dough loaves were surprisingly burnt and dry tasting but the staff were very friendly. It's pretty overpriced compared to truss next door and Bentley's down the street. We spent $20 more here than sitting down at truss when we got 2 apps, 2 adult meals, 2 coffees and 2 kid meals plus 20% tip. Here we got 3 biscuit sandwiches, 3 pastries, 2 coffees, and 2 chocolate milks and a sour dough loaf to go. We personally wouldn't pay for this place again over truss or bentleys. read more

Picked up a variety of pastries from this adorable bakery and enjoyed them all! Such an excellent selection. The staff was very nice, and lots of cute places to sit. My only complaint was that the tea I ordered wasn't steeped long enough, so it wasn't very strong. read more

The food and prices are great. Thats what gets 4 stars. The service is awful. Slow and a bit on the snotty side. At one point with a line of 20 people nobody was behind the counter. Forgot our order and seemed put out when we asked where our unheated item we had waited 10 minutes for was when they served 4 people behind us. Get better workers. read more

I WOULD 100% GO HERE AGAIN!! The exterior looks very new and clean as well as the interior. very spacious as well as lots of big windows near the entrance so the lighting is very nice. The only con about the place is that there aren't a lot of options as for drinks and food, but luckily the food was amazing. there is also a selection of pastries that look delicious! I would probably say the pricing is $$ out of $$$$ for the cost, not cheap but not too expensive. The quality of the food is amazing. never had a better croissant as well as a pastry before. Total came out to be $35 for two people, food, coffee, and an extra pastry. The service was good, was not greeted, but the people up front that took my order were very sweet. Luckily as i was waiting for my food, there is a water station with glass cups which i think is very nice as well as two stores commented on each side of the Cafe. One is a noodle place and the other is like a boutique. I wojld 100% go here again. The food was amazing. Very high quality as well as the coffee is probably the best Ive had so far! read more

I'm picky with my coffee shops but I did love this place. The inside is so cute and the workers were so nice. I got an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and croissant which were so good! Definitely want to try more things next time. My only complaints are that my computer battery isn't great and there wasn't really a place to charge my computer and they close at 3 which is a tini bit earlier than I'd like. I had the honey cardamom hot latte and the lemon pistachio cinnamon roll. OMG!!! It was definitely some kind of wonderful! This place is so hidden I drove by it twice and missed it but make a u-turn and go back it is well worth it!!! It's also attached to this really cool shop that has funny cards and things which I will absolutely go back for! Great place for a quick meet up! I highly recommend!!! read more

We visited on a Saturday morning and it was busy! The location was cute and wedged between two cute shops. There were tables and couches in an open area. Although the employees were busy, they were still very pleasant and make suggestion when they were out of certain items. While we were there, we tried the Biscuit Board, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate croissant. The board was tasty with the pimento cheese. The chocolate croissant was nice and flaky. The ham and cheese croissant would have been better warmed up. Things are reasonably priced. They had coffees, teas and other drinks. I have two complaints. First, I ordered hot chai tea and it was lukewarm if that. And lastly, there weren't enough seats as people were working on their laptops which probably isn't a problem during the work week. We'd definitely come back. So, if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a light breakfast, this is your place. read more

Great atmosphere! The service, food and drinks were fabulous. My one "complaint" is not necessarily something that can be fixed easily nor is it really the fault of anyone who works there. I came in for a coffee meeting with a former employer and wanted to stay and work on my laptop afterwards. The chairs at the tables are pretty uncomfortable and there are zero outlets nearby most tables. If you're looking to just grab breakfast or meet up for a coffee, yessss! If you want a work space? Make sure you're fully charged up and avoid the table/chair combos for the seating area in the middle. read more
