You walk into a big, beautifully decorated open dining area. Wonderfully decorated and very clean! Walking up to the counter, you are greeted by so many sweet treats. It is super hard to decide! The ladies at the counter were so kind and patient with me as I kept going back-and-forth as to which tree I wanted most. I ended up with a fig pastry, and my mom got the cream cheese danish with raspberries pastry. My dad got the cinnamon bun. My mom and I split each of ours so we could try both. I have to say, if you like sweet, the fig one is for you. The raspberry isn't as sweet and I actually like that one better. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong! This is probably where I spent most my time when I traveled to meet friends in Lynchburg, VA as we enjoyed a local fall Wine Festival at Jefferson's Poplar Forest. This has big college vibes and a great place to study and gather. Solid craft coffee and cafe food items. Attached is an impressive cooking school with many great classes with unique options. I love everything about this cafe! The style and decor is such a cool vibe. I got a breakfast sandwich that was to die for - biscuit (made in house), egg, country ham and pimento cheese. Omg everything about it was delicious. I also tried the almond apricot sweet roll and it was heavenly. The cinnamon roll latte I got was good too, not too sweet and I could still taste the coffee (sometimes I feel like latte's are just all sugar, but not this one). The food was good and coffee was delish. The sour dough loaves were surprisingly burnt and dry tasting but the staff were very friendly. It's pretty overpriced compared to truss next door and Bentley's down the street. We spent $20 more here than sitting down at truss when we got 2 apps, 2 adult meals, 2 coffees and 2 kid meals plus 20% tip. Here we got 3 biscuit sandwiches, 3 pastries, 2 coffees, and 2 chocolate milks and a sour dough loaf to go. We personally wouldn't pay for this place again over truss or bentleys. read more

I go every Saturday and absolutely love their kolaches! everyone is so nice and helpful and the whole setup is great. they are constantly switching out their desserts and pastries with new ones so you can always try something new. they have a lot variety from croissants and kolaches to sandwiches and quiches. and they have some very good drinks as well. I always enjoy every visit and am so happy that there is such a wonderful bakery in Lynchburg now!! read more

Total came out to be $35 for two people, food, coffee, and an extra pastry. The service was good, was not greeted, but the people up front that took my order were very sweet. Luckily as i was waiting for my food, there is a water station with glass cups which i think is very nice as well as two stores commented on each side of the Cafe. I'm picky with my coffee shops but I did love this place. The inside is so cute and the workers were so nice. I got an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and croissant which were so good! Definitely want to try more things next time. My only complaints are that my computer battery isn't great and there wasn't really a place to charge my computer and they close at 3 which is a tini bit earlier than I'd like. We visited on a Saturday morning and it was busy! The location was cute and wedged between two cute shops. There were tables and couches in an open area. Although the employees were busy, they were still very pleasant and make suggestion when they were out of certain items. While we were there, we tried the Biscuit Board, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate croissant. The board was tasty with the pimento cheese. The chocolate croissant was nice and flaky. The ham and cheese croissant would have been better warmed up. Things are reasonably priced. They had coffees, teas and other drinks. I have two complaints. First, I ordered hot chai tea and it was lukewarm if that. And lastly, there weren't enough seats as people were working on their laptops which probably isn't a problem during the work week. We'd definitely come back. So, if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a light breakfast, this is your place. read more

Great atmosphere! The service, food and drinks were fabulous. My one "complaint" is not necessarily something that can be fixed easily nor is it really the fault of anyone who works there. I came in for a coffee meeting with a former employer and wanted to stay and work on my laptop afterwards. The chairs at the tables are pretty uncomfortable and there are zero outlets nearby most tables. If you're looking to just grab breakfast or meet up for a coffee, yessss! If you want a work space?
