Came here around 7am to meet with a friend! It is a very clean and tastefully decorated place! We were greeted with friendly staff who patiently helped us decide what to order! The coffee was prepared quickly but the Bacon, egg & cheese came a little bit later! It was hot and fresh! Nothing too dramatic but tasty for sure! I hope to come back again someday soon!

Interesting concept for a coffee shop the way the inside of the building is laid out for their customers. Tasty treats and unique drinks. If you haven't tried this coffee shop you are missing out on a great spot !

Fresh food... great coffee... incredible atmosphere. Add on top of that abundant seating in comfortable chairs. Excellence is truly a core value of this coffee shop. Don't let the strip mall location shy you away. This place stands out!

I visited on a weekday right after they opened at 7. The staff were friendly and because I was the only customer the service was very fast. This location I believe is the only coffee shop in the Lynchburg area that offers a yama drip brewed coffee. In general their prices are on the higher end but the quality is good. I recommend the yama drip with chantilly cream. The ambience is really unique, similar to their Richmond VA location. The shop however is not located in the best area.

IRONCLAD is the newest coffee offering in town. Located on Candler's Mountain in the Ollie's Plaza, it is an inviting atmosphere with seating and tables meant to give that 90s coffee shop feel. I ordered a simple Latte with Peppermint with an orange cranberry gluten free scope. The coffee was full bodied with a richness to the roast. Not overly burnt like some major shops. The foam was rich and could be tasted throughout and the peppermint was just enough of a hint to not overpower the taste. This latte lacked the super sweetness and overly artificial taste of many shops. Very good! The scone was crusty on the outside, while soft inside. It had an abundance of cranberry and orange flavor with a nice glaze to finish it off. And! It's gluten free. I highly recommend IRONCLAD Coffee Roasters for a relaxing coffee experience. The service was great! Very pleasant and engaging. The barista even added that nice touch of a swan to the coffee foam. It's been a while since I've had great service at a coffee shop!

Great quality coffee and lattes with a very unique old school set up and vibe, and the grand piano in the middle is a nice touch.

To paraphrase the Beatles, there's nothing I can say that can't be said, but man do I love, love, love this place. Excellent whole bean offerings, roasted to perfection by expert roasters. Delicious hot and iced coffee and espresso drinks that simply can't be replicated anywhere nearby--including, sadly, in my home town of Staunton (hey, Trager Brothers! There's a huge opportunity for expansion in the Queen City!). And top all that off with sublime, informed, and incredibly friendly front of house staff. Yeah, it's a little hard to find, but anything worth having is worth looking for. And in this age of googling and Apple mapping and whatnot, there's no excuse for not availing yourself to the BEST coffee in central Virginia. Y'all who might have read some of my other reviews will know: I usually have a minor nit to pick with even my five stars. Not so with the Brothers Trager, fam. Enter their shop and be greeted by the heavenly aroma of roasting coffee, the whir of a burr grinder, the quiet scream of a steaming wand, the genuine smile and friendly greeting of the barista. Now, you tell me: how could you possibly find a quibble worth the scribble?

If you're looking for a big ole store or facility that screams coffee shop, you're looking wrong. It's in in the far end of a building off to your right when you follow the signs. It's a cool shop that Is totally worth visiting. If anything, it's b/c of the high quality coffee they offer. There really isn't much to do here other than pickup great coffee but I guess I can't think of what else you'd really need. :) Cheers! Food Taste: great coffee! We visited on a Sunday morning, and the shop was buzzing with activity. One of the first things we noticed was the RV parking, which was such a wonderful surprise! We were a little nervous about finding a spot for our big rig, but there was plenty of room and easy parking available. The outdoor seating area was absolutely lovely, with comfortable seating, umbrellas for shade, and beautiful landscaping filled with flowers. It was the perfect place to take a break, relax after a long drive, and let our dog stretch her legs. Inside, the coffee shop was bright, fresh, and inviting, with a great selection of coffee beans and brewing equipment available for purchase. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. It had that perfect small-town coffee shop feel with a modern twist -- a place where you can slow down, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and feel connected to the community. I enjoyed an iced oat milk latte, and my husband had an iced latte with cinnamon and honey. Both were delicious! We're so glad we found Roadmap Coffee and will definitely make it a stop whenever we're traveling through Lexington.

I ordered the El Diablo Latte, and it was phenomenal. The cayenne and ancho brought a gentle warmth, the cinnamon and vanilla rounded it out, and the chocolate and espresso tied it all together beautifully. Spiced, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I also had a V60 pour-over of their seasonal Costa Rican single origin, and it was incredibly clean and expressive. I genuinely tasted the pomegranate and hibiscus notes, with a subtle cocoa finish. Bright without being sharp -- just a really well-executed cup. The triple ginger scone was the perfect pairing with the latte -- tender inside, lightly crisp outside, and warmly spiced without overpowering. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, the space was welcoming, and the quality across the board was top-tier. My only suggestion? Stickers. I'd absolutely put one on my laptop. Highly recommend.

The barista gave my drink away so I asked if my drink would be ready soon and she told me that someone must have taken it, she then promptly made the latte. The bagel was cold and dry, even with the cream cheese. The latte however was moderately enjoyable. Overall, I will not be returning.
