If you're not already in a sugar coma just reading this, prepare to be! This cinnamon bun bakery in the heart of Lynchburg isn't just a place - it's a destination. From the moment you walk in, the warm, gooey aromas greet you like an old friend, and the friendly staff make you feel like you've stumbled into a secret cinnamon bun society. The flavors here are nothing short of mind-blowing - we're talking cinnamon buns that might just be more creative than your best Pinterest board. From classic, melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon perfection to bold twists, there's something for every sweet tooth. And don't even get me started on the cream cheese frosting... It's almost criminal how good it is. In a world full of mediocre pastries, this gem stands tall - and it's a must-visit for anyone who thinks the perfect cinnamon bun is just a pastry. 10/10 - would spiral into cinnamon bliss again.

When you walk it there is zero signs that they have gluten free options. Thankfully someone on yelp had posted about it because I would have never known. Staff was super helpful, warned us of cross contamination risks with toppings. But since it was slow they were able to go to the back for toppings for my kid. We truly appreciate that these places try and have options for everyone. I feel a little bad saying this, but I mean it will love, it wasn't the best gf cinnamon roll. GF tend to be dense and hard. These are the same. Maybe if you were able to get them right out of the oven. We would still order them again though. The other half of my family loved their glutenous cinnamon rolls! They were soft and melt in your mouth! A really fun concept, but so many choices! But after you decide on toppings you have to decide between buttercream and cream cheese toppings. We all went with cream cheese. While eating our rolls we noticed they have beignets... if we ever make it back we will for sure get those....

I really enjoyed the cinnamon buns I got here. I actually came in once before and got a blueberry lemonade bun, then told my boyfriend they had dairy free icing and we had to come back the next day. Second time around I got the salted caramel and he got the maple bacon one. Both were really good. They make them fresh in front of you, topping and all. They also have a full espresso bar and coffee drinks. The staff was friendly and it was a clean location. Will be revisiting next time we are in Lynchburg. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something sweet.

Stopped here to take a treat back to Hampton Roads and was pleasantly surprised. I thought the cinnamon buns would be the average run of the mill type, but they are not. These were huge and there is a variety of flavors as well as the option to build your own. The prices were reasonable for the size you get. The staff is always friendly when I stop in and never complains even when I decide to add on after they have already completed my order. The inside is a little small, but there is room to sit if you want to stay and eat there. Stop in and grab a cinnamon roll or five. You won't regret it.

Super friendly staff. Good music playing. In the heart of Lynchburg. Delicious coffee. They have baked items and other food stuffs that I didn't try. Highly recommend.

We stopped by after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. My niece really likes coming here. Everything looked tasty! The service was fast. The inside of the shop was very clean and cozy. I didn't have anything on this visit but I'll definitely be back to try those beignets in a few months. Heck, I may even have a cinnamon roll too! They have a few parking options out front. A paid lot and street parking are also available.

While in town I came across Cinn City on TikTok and several local guides, the variety of treats got my attention immediately. Upon my visit my date and I ordered Beignets, a mocha cappuccino, a cinnamon roll and a caramel frappe. Shortly after the hype wore down we tried everything out and were highly disappointed in the treats. The cinnamon roll was like biting into cement (clearly days old), the Beignets didn't have any flavor and the "strawberry syrup" we received didn't have any intention on sweeting this terrible treat (the consistency of water with food colouring). Won't be back, seems like a decent place to take a child too whose on good behavior for toppings and such on their cinnamon rolls- they wouldn't know the difference.

Cookie Monster Cinnamon Bun: absolutely delightful!

This is such a quaint cinnamon bun shop with an urban tone! It was my first time here and it was absolutely delightful! The service was prompt and welcoming, and the cinnamon buns were warm and toasty, having come straight from the oven. My Cookie Monster cinnamon bun was INCREDIBLE. If you're looking for a sweet treat, go here; you will really enjoy it!

Got here at the crack of dawn and the buns were fresh out of the oven. I was hungry so I got one order of beignets and one normal cinnamon bun. Each were phenomenal in their own right. The beignets were freshly fried, covered in enough powdered sugar so that when you sighed out of relief after biting into the first one, the sugar poofs up and goes everywhere. The little puff of hot air in the center of each is akin to life's fleeting joys, the first snowflake of the season melting on your tongue, a sexy wink from a loved one, and now the first bite of a beignet from Cinn City. My only regret is that I didn't have enough stomach space for more of them. The cinnamon bun is also fantastic in its own right. The saddest thing about a cinnamon bun is the first edge bite when its dry or crumbly or sad. This bun is none of those things. It's firm but has the proper amount of crust to icing ratio as well as the gooey cinnamon filling to coat the inner part of its dough. It only gets better the deeper you go and leaves you wishing for more. The only critique I have is that the icing is a bit firm and is meant to melt over the bun but as mine had been freshly iced, some was a bit solid but was quickly melting as I ate it. Will be going back hungry for more!

Lynchburg is Sin City, wait I spelled that wrong. It's Cinn City. The perfect place for people Who want to like Cinnamon buns, but find them not sugary enough. Cinn city starts with drenched cinnamon buns and then adds all kinds of sugar. Triple extra icing is a start, then add double fruit. I went for the strawberry almond Cinn thing. Cause the blueberry double icing with sugar on top sounded better as second dessert.

So many different cinnamon buns to choose from.

Beautifully put together!…read more From the aesthetics to the coffee, this coffee shop is doing it right! It was recommended to me by a few friends, and it didn't disappoint. When you walk in, you immediately notice the accents and unique décor. Then comes the fun part--trying to decide where to sit so you can take it all in. Now, onto the coffee. If you enjoy good coffee, this place has it. Great quality and excellent flavor. I tried a cappuccino and loved that it was made with the right proportions and right technique. They definitely know their coffee! I couldn't help but notice that the barista added latte art to everyone's drinks, which was a nice touch. This is a great spot to study or meet up with friends. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the coffee. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

As for the coffee though the prices were extremely steep compared to every other coffee shop in the area and I would say the taste was maybe middle of the pack which is why I have to lower my rating. If you're just going for the atmosphere and don't mind paying for it absolutely come here. If you're looking for a better coffee and at a cheaper price I would say take a look at some of the other Lynchburg options.
