Lunch Box: Smoked Turkey And Brie sandwich with a side of fruit, the Lemon Nut Bread Cream Cheese Filling, and an Arnold Palmer.

Always love their food, staff, and environment. My go to order is typically their chicken salad croissant (10/10 recommend) but today I switched it up and got their most popular sandwich.

Such a cute lunch and shopping spot! We ordered sandwiches and sat upstairs with a view of the beautiful river. The food was delicious and staff was very friendly. We tried the smoked Turkey and Brie baguette which was more sweet than savory with great flavor. However the sandwich we order every visit is the yummy smoked Turkey and Swiss sandwich. We also ordered chips, drink and of course we can't forget a delicious apple dapple cake for dessert. Some of the furniture upstairs and artwork on the walls was for sale so be sure to shop there as well. We also loved shopping in the 4 rooms on the main level after we had lunch. This is a great place to find a nice local food or beverage gift or some decor/dishes for your home. It would be so romantic to visit in the summer for a picnic by the river out back. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Delicious! The staff is friendly and the food is so good. It can take a while for the food to come out but it's worth the wait!

If you want a place to hang out and drink coffee while studying with wifi that you have to renew…read morethe online certificate log in every 3 hours, look no further! White Hart has everything just described! The food here is fine and the coffee (despite me not knowing anything about coffee) tastes like coffee. They have an option where you can effectively have unlimited coffee for a small upcharge so this place is a fantastic place to sit down and get lots of work done. The most surprising thing about this place is the French fries are really really good. Like better than a coffee shop should ever have invested in. It leads to this really cozy odd vibe where you see people with unlimited cups of coffee and massive plates of fries hanging out and doing work on these wooden tables. I will also add that the wooden chairs, despite being made out of wood, are really really sturdy. Often times, wood chairs are like falling apart at the seams or due to loose screws, but this place has really good furniture. Some of the tables are a bit wobbly but so be it. The baked goods here are phenomenal despite them not having any apparent oven or capabilities to make any of the stuff they serve. Its a bit pricey but everything is worth eating (so far I've had two cookies, a muffin, a scone, and a Danish, everything ranges from good to fantastic). If I lived downtown I would be at this café every day, but unfortunately I'm only able to come here due to it being spring break. The only qualm I have is that some of the wall sockets are super super loose but not a deal breaker at all!

Both were very tasty and we enjoyed them, although a little pricy. Even though we got it to go, we did stick around a few minutes to check the vibe. It reminds me of college - very casual and laid back. Like a giant living room with a mix of upholstered and not furniture. Plan to return to try some food.

I didn't know my love for Palmera House could grow even more, but after renting their space for a…read moresurprise birthday party for my boyfriend, my heart grew 3 times bigger. On a normal day I'd go in with my bestie, we'd order smoothies or a smoothie bowl (my fav), & enjoy the greenery & finely decorated ambience. The love & thought poured in Palmera House is visually evident, a true reflection of the designer/owner's essence. Owner, Erica, made booking this space a no-brainer for me. She responded to my inquiry form the same day I sent it & by the end of the day we had a contract in the works. She promptly answered all of my questions, soothed all of my doubts, &, when the original bartender could no longer make the event, she & her husband stepped in to help serve us at the party. Your perspective of a place changes when you become more familiar with the people running it & in this case I've become even more inclined to support this business. Thank you Palmera House!! P.S. they've recently expanded their menu & while you wait for your food you can walk around the adorable plant store that's attached!
