Visiting the only attraction this town offers, I craved donuts. Not the Dunkin factory made kind. But real, just out of the fryer kind. Looked up on Yelp and Delites was the first and only place to pop up to go to. A husband and wife team run this adorable spot and they do a great job of welcoming every customer with a sample donut when you walk in the door! The donuts are fresh and delicious!! Unfortunately we got there later in the day so most of their popular items were sold out, which is good for them but boo for me. Still the bear claw was melt in your mouth amazing and I loved that you had a choice of jelly, cream or custard filling for those donuts that get filled. If happen to go to the large military memorabilia museum in this town, you must check this place out too. read more

There are several Donut and pastry shops in Danville, but when you have people driving 2 hours for a dozen, you know you got something special. Every now and then I take my work crew some Donut holes as a treat and they offer to buy them from their team mates because they are so good. My brother lives in NC and visits twice a month, he makes sure to stop in a get a dozen assorted donuts and 2 bear claws. read more

I went in there to order two separate 6 packs of donuts. I was getting a variety in each pack. The short lady that's always in there acted very irritated and was kinda rushy. What got me the most was I asked her for filled donuts. She said one is custard, the other is white cream. I asked her what the difference is, she turns around, points to each one l, then says, that's the difference. I told her unfortunately that didn't explain the difference. She responded " that is the difference ". The lady was very irritated and borderline hateful. I passed one donut shop to get to hers. I spoke with someone else about her and they laughed and said she's always like that. I won't be going back. The donuts are good but I will be going to Danville Donuts from now on. I'm spending my money in your place of business. Don't make me feel like I can't ask you a q about your own products. If you visit here, be ready for the little short lady in the front. She isn't the most pleasant person to deal with. She needs to understand word of mouth could hurt her worse than anything. read more

Super quick detour off rt 29 (lit 4 min) Really good fresh donuts at a great price. Donut holes are like $2 for a dozen. Very friendly owner, bfast sandwiches, smoothies, & a clean bathroom for customers. They have a solid variety of donuts, not massive, but they fill any solid donuts with one of many fillings or they will top any donut with a sweet cream cheese frosting. (I haven't seen this before.) They have traditional flavored donuts plus very good apple fritters, bear claws, & cinnamon rolls at a great price. They also have red velvet donut holes. Our family always stops by donut shops as we travel, if we ever drive through Danville again we will stop by again. Also there is a grocery store next door if you need supplies for your travels. read more

This donut shop is in the plaza with Food lion. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The donuts are excellent and much better than Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme. And the coffee was better than my last coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. read more
