    A dozen raised! Only $7!!
    Cassie V.

Best donut shop around - Danville hit the jackpot. Soft, fluffy raised donuts; crispy, warm yeast donuts like bearclaws and turnovers. Lots to choose from. The selection isn't gigantic but we got a dozen of just the raised donuts with all unique toppings, and there were lots more varieties to choose from in the larger donut case that included the large coffee rolls and bearclaws. There were easily 25-30 different varieties to pick from. The donuts themselves are melt in your mouth. They're that great blend of yeasty and sweet and aren't greasy. Even the cake donuts we got didn't leave a grease stain in the bag, which is a rarity. The prices on the donuts were shockingly low. We got a dozen donuts as well as a couple "mini" blueberry glazed donuts for $9. Regular sized raised and cake donuts were only 75c each, and they aren't at all small. Staff was polite and friendly, as well as patient as we took forever making our selection. The shop is clean and bright within an unassuming strip mall exterior. Not a ton of seating and not a huge beverage selection, but whatever. That's not why people are going there anyhow. We made a forty minute round trip drive to this place and it was well worth the drive.

Almost cleaned out on Chrome Eve.

I love mom and pop donut shops and this little joint in my hometown is worth the drive from Charotte. In fact, it beats anything we currently have there and is half the price. I brought two dozen mixed for $14 each on Christmas Eve and everything was extremely fresh and tasty. The apple fritters ("the city's best" according to their menu) is thin, crunchy and full of apples. All of the regular donuts are yeast based and run 85 cents apiece and $9 a dozen. The bear claws are delicious were my personal favs. The service is friendly and the dining area is clean and comfortable. I liked them so much I may even take a dozen or do back home for our five kids. Try it out. I'd say if you are a donut fan, it' a Gotta Try.

I thought there would be a bigger selection of donuts, but what I ordered was pretty good! Good prices, would go back again.

***Updated review***…read more So IHOP regional management contacted me about my last review. They told me that management had been changed and so had most of the cooks and offered me a free meal to come back and try it again. I have to admit I was hesitant because of how bad it had been the last time but... free is free so I went back. Not just once, but 4 more times. The place has greatly improved. The food has gotten much better and so has the service. The food is not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination but I don't think people expect that at an IHOP anyway. The coffee is still not great but that's chain wide and some of their booths need replacing but they now have a very decent breakfast. I can't speak for lunch or dinner because I never go during those meals. I will say that the ham and egg sandwich on sourdough is very good. So go and give this place a try and ask for LaToya. She's a great server. They are definitely better than most of Danville's other breakfast options. ***Original review*** Went there with my wife this morning. We were seated quickly in Tia's section (about the best server they have). We ordered our food and waited over an hour before our omelets came out. My pancakes came about 5 minutes later but my wife's took an additional 20 minutes. Her pancakes were covered in seasoning that they add to the pumpkin pancakes but she ordered regular ones. My omelet was completely falling apart. We asked for the manager, Chad. It took him 15 minutes to come to our table. He gave us a whole $5 off our $28 meal and told us they were slow because someone broke glass on one of their pancake griddles. How that makes an omelet take over an hour to cook I don't have a clue. It wasn't just our table. Our whole section was having the same problem. The manager should've instructed the servers to tell customers about the problem BEFORE they ordered or at least walked around to check on tables without having to be chased down but he obviously isn't fit to run a lemonade stand. We will not be back anytime soon.

My meal took at least 30 to 40 minutes to arrive as did my second cup of coffee. The food was good…read moreBUT there was a HAIR on my plate of pancakes!!! They need more staff !!!

There is so much they offer. As far as eating they have Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel!), hot if cold sandwiches (the Jezabel ham!), salads (green ones but I love chicken salad), specialty pizzas (Neapolitan Nod!), and charcuterie boards! Then there is an extensive selection of teas, espresso based drinks, and wines (white, red, or sparking). You can enjoy a glass or a bottle. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. They keep it clean, always have a smile and kind word, and make sure their staff has that same spirit. This places puts the best out there for Danville.

The breakfast menu did not have much for me, but I was happy that I settled on a texturally intriguing apple crumble cake and paired it with a contrasting vegetal tea, which came loose leaf and ready to steep. Service was on the only slow side with only one person, presumably the owner, working. It was the sort of place where many would come for ambiance and sit a while.
