Usually don't like to give a bad review but this place deserves one. Stopped in after a West Chester football game for some eats before the ride home and was nothing but disappointed. My wife and I decided on some eggs, me three eggs easy over rye toast pancakes sausage and home fries. Her, meat lovers omelette. The eggs EASY OVER were hard as a rock with a 100% solid yoke so over cooked tasted like sulfur the sausages were black on one side with a crust, the pancakes were hard and stiff and the damn toast was not only burned but cold and the home fries... imagine boiled potatoes that you threw in a frying pan over cooked one side and put on the plate. Hands down has to be the absolute worst diner I have ever experienced. My opinion STAY AWAY! read more

This place is bad. worst meal i've had in a long time, and i went to olive garden a couple nights ago. hate it . don't recommend no :: bye.

this was honestly the worst experience i've ever had at a diner. first of all, the man at the front completely skipped over us and asked everyone behind us how many people they had. then when we finally got to tell him there were 2 of us, he said he only had a table for four so we needed to wait. last time i checked, two is less people than four. when we finally got service at the little bar (not a table) there was a gray hair in my food. disgusting. the server was very nice, apologized and brought me new food however, at the end the same man was unable to split our check. will never be coming be coming back here again read more

Was excited to have breakfast with the family at the new Rams Diner. Excitement stopped shortly after we walked through the door. Service was slow, we never actually got a "server", we got three, none of which were very attentive. Ordered our drinks, coffee was delivered without cream. After long wait, we ordered and waited again. Too long for some pancakes and eggs. Pancakes delivered cold and without butter. Had to request and wait for butter, which of course would not melt on the cold pancakes. I suspect they were microwaved. I could go on and on, about the hair in my eggs and the lack of napkins on the table and the burnt toast( you get the idea), but for the sake of time, just let me say, do yourselves a favor and DON'T EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY! read more

Friends and I came in a few days after the bar and Lucille, (or however you spell that name) was literally SO rude to us it blew our mind. Referring to use as "young african america girls" also is not acceptable. We have names that our parents gave us and we would like to be referred by those said names. Probably wont be coming back, plus we got the wrong order anyway. :) read more

We were seated quickly in a nice large booth. The place was brightly lit - I hate dark restaurants. Everything was bright and cheerful. Staff was very attentive. The fountain Pepsi tasted like pepsi, it wasn't watered down. I usually dislike fountain drinks. So it started off very nicely. I ordered the haddock and scallops. They were perfectly cooked! I really enjoyed my meal as did the rest of my family. They had burgers and wraps. I will certainly visit more often for a quick dinner with my WCU son. We also had some very tasty and large desserts - carrot cake, lemon meringue, chocolate cake, and a Boston creme pie - all excellent. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent food - fast, fresh, and very tasty. Outstanding service. Family friendly. They handled our party of 10, including a grumpy infant, with a smile. Highly recommended!!! Try the waffles! read more

Terrible. Please do not eat here. The food was terrible, the service was terrible, and the staff were extremely unfriendly. The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable, especially since some of the other patrons were muttering racist slang, and no staff told them to stop or kick them out. I will never eat here again. read more

This place is hands down the best breakfast place in west chester. Yes it's a dinner. That means fast service, no waiting an hour for breakfast like some spots in town. Also, good hefty portions. I've been 3 times now, and each time has been great. Constantly refilling coffee is a huge plus in my book too. Yay! read more

I've never experienced such rude service in my entire life. My server Lucille was extremely rude and refused to admit that she brought me the wrong drink. I've never liked regular coke I always order diet so I know for a fact I said "can I have a DIET coke please" understandably she might have not heard me say diet and she brought me a regular coke. When I sipped it I called her over and said excuse me I wanted a diet I'm sorry and she said "well then you should've ordered one" and I was so taken back I said "I did order a diet you should've listened" she then brought over another drink and asked if we were ready to place our order. We told her we won't be eating here because of her horrible service. We got up and walked out. Will never be returning read more

The chocolate chip pancakes are amazing. I used to stop here after working late. I almost always get a combo of pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns. There is a great dessert case, but I've never had room to try it. read more

Food was mediocre at best. Service was absolutely terrible. As we walked in we had to wait for us to approach someone in order to get a table (it was only my wife and myself). Once we got our food didn't see out server until we got the check. The man who I think was the manager was unpleasant when he was ringing us up. It is safe to say I will not be back there. There are several other places for breakfast/brunch that are much better. read more

Tried this for the first time today, for lunch. I ordered a lunch special, the crab cake sandwich, which came with a cup of soup. The New England clam chowder was very tasty. The crab cake, I'm afraid, was about 70% breaded filler. Cost was reasonable, but I know I'd stay away from the crab cakes from now on. Service was a little overwhelmed with just a half-full early lunch shift. Seemed that the computer system was giving staff some problems... "how do I enter the Chef's special prime rib?" I'm sure it will improve with time. read more

Great location for a 24 hour diner. I had French Onion Soup and a BLT, both were excellent. Will definitely return!

Friendly and efficient staff. My husband enjoyed the Rams burger. It was done as ordered and came with a generous portion of tasty fries and onion rings. I ordered the mac & cheese casserole topped with a crab cake. It included soup or salad and 1 vegetable. The chicken orzo soup was very good. My dinner portion was so large that I had to get a to go box. We would definitely go back. I am looking forward to trying breakfast. Many people around us were eating breakfast and everything looked enticing. read more

The place was very clean and we were seated quickly. The staff was nice and friendly. Our waitress Penny was great ! She was fast and made sure we had everything we needed. This place got a 4/5 because the food wasn't that good but the service was great. Tip!!! Call ahead for big groups read more

Great "diner" food, even the desserts are delicious. Always clean and a friendly staff

The food is pretty typical of your average diner. I would love to know where they get their cakes and pies from because they are phenomenonal. read more

Nice place! The food was great and the staff were very pleasant. I would recommend this diner anytime!

Lets just say I wanted to really like this Diner. The staff could not have been nicer so they definitely have that going for them. The food was OK. The decor was a little stark and frankly not very cozy. The walls are too white and the lighting is way too bright! It made me want to leave, i felt like I was eating on the set of a sitcom. My suggestion being a decorator...paint the far end walls a nice deep purple or glaze them purple ( the color scheme is purple and yellow--get it--West Chester Univ.-- Ram Diner? ) The lighting could be dimmed with a dimmer ( pendants over tables--way too bright!) also think about changing shades on them to another color too soften the light. I think they should ( and maybe they are going to) put old and new campus photos on the walls, maybe some memorabilia too to really give the restaurant some personality. Back to the food---we had tom turkey platter....it was pretty good--turkey was a little rubbery, gravy definitely canned. Didn't like how cranberry sauce came in a disposable covered container--put it in a small dish. Someone else at our table had veal parmesan ( I would never order this at a diner) but it was on the menu--nice presentation but again meat rubbery. Another person at our table had the patty melt and it looked and was very good. It would be nice to see some fun, diner food on the men--everything was very expected. Maybe go "old school" with some items since the diner has that retro feel....egg creams, ice cream sodas , sundaes. Do up the burgers and fries. Maybe name them after famous folks from Campus etc. I get its a diner but it could be amped up a bit to make this place very good. One last design mention, I would put the dessrt carousel by the counter not the door--had we seen that while we were eating we might have been tempted to order a dessert but saw it after we were exiting the restaurant. Add a mile high lemon merigue pie--always a crowd pleaser!! I would really like to go back and have this diner as a go to in town since we live here. read more
