Mom figured out an old friend Jen from gramms worked here & now really wants to visit. Went today around 4:30. She enjoyed he food fully. Me? It was clean. The two girls working were sweet. My hot dog n fries tasted not very good at all. Whatever. My complaint is the dude mopping & setting up tables kept leering at me (us?). I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was a great experience. The server was friendly and very fast. The food arrived within 5 minutes of the order and it was hot and fresh off the grill. I ordered a farmers omelette with cheddar cheese. The vegetables and cheese were plentiful and the eggs were fluffy. This was a very big omelette which was quite tasty. I had a side of sausage links which were quite good as well. The coffee was what you would expect from a diner. I drink fresh ground coffee at home so I am picky about my coffee. The bottom line is when I am in West Chester, I will definitely eat here for breakfast. This diner gets four Siberian Husky paws up. read more

Gotta love a diner! Not many other food establishments are open after 10pm, so it's always a relief to find somewhere that will take in some of us late stragglers. After a long day at the RenFaire, going to a diner is exactly what we need to conclude our weekend outing. The Rams Diner did not disappoint. My liver and onions platter tasted exactly like it did at the Downingtown Diner. Most of the food came out warm, though some of the fries were still a bit cold and damp. My friend asked for no pickles, but her order still came with it. And I wish I'd gotten a spoon for my milkshake. That stuff is thick. The only real drawback was the table. It could've used a better cleaning before we were seated - it was as sticky as glue or dried syrup. It was a little hard washing the residue out of my sleeve. Overall, a fine, run of the mill visit. We did get some really weird looks, but I'm chalking that up to seeing a bunch of grownarse adults in Shakespearean costumes parading into the local diner one balmy midsummer night. Tried the Rams Diner for the first time for breakfast on a Thursday. Clean and bright with waitresses who call everyone "hon," it was all fine with me. I sat at the counter and went with the basic two egg scramble, two sausage links, home fries and toast. Food came out very quick and all was as expected and I ate it all. This time of day there were lots of repeat customers that the servers knew by sight and asked if they wanted coffee even before they sat down. read more

To start of with there chicken wings where ok but when I got them my waiter dropped one of my ranch sauce and rubbed it all over the floor with her foot and proceeded to say "don't slide on it" but don't get me started with the bacon burger I ordered it at about 8:00 and I came around 9:30 which was very disappointing I got the burger medium rare and when it came it was dry,overcooked and it tasted like rubbish and when I went to the bathroom to wash my mouth out because of the burger I saw flys all around the stalls after that I got out of there immediately 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was very happy when I opened the container and saw my cheesesteak. It looked very well made and the french fries had the good coating on them. I would call this Cheesesteak good traditional. The roll was traditional and good. It had a good bread to crust ratio and ate very well. The cheesesteak had a good amount of good meat. It had a decent amount of cheese. I wish the cheese would have been mixed in with the meat and extras better. It had a nice balance of good fried onions and mushrooms. I wish they would have spent more time on the grill but it was 8:12 in the morning. The Cheesesteak had good balance and ratios. It had a touch too much oil and you know I don't like paying $0.75 to put fried onions on a cheesesteak. read more

Having the worst breakfast I've have ever had in West Chester. The cream chip beef is tasteless and the scrapple tastes and look horrible. I can't believe they actually served this. We sat for an hour waiting for our food and the server never checked on us until we were nearly finished our meal. Multiple people were sending food back and we almost did. Ordered steak and eggs and asked for medium and got medium well which wasn't even edible. All of the food was just overall horrible and the service was also horrible. I couldn't even eat the steak because it had the same consistency as rubber. I wouldn't have even fed it to my dog. Breakfast at Rams diner was very good. My wife got the sausage gravy over biscuits and I got two eggs with bacon and home fries. The coffee was very good which is not the case with most places. We decided to e plore after dropping off the car for service but needed breakfast first. The Rams Diner was a cute little place we saw and decided what's better than a Diner for breakfast. In this case almost anything else. The we only waited a few minutes to be seated but the place was half empty. Our waitress quickly came over to get our order and it didn't take long for the food. My sausage gravy and biscuits were barely room temperature as was my better hall's chipped beef but on both plates the potatoes were warm. The biscuits were tasty but the sausage gravy was bland, the chipped beef was okay. We tried to get the server's attention but apparently her attention was for her regulars. The lack of attention continued when trying to get drink refills. I do not recommend the Rams Diner. read more

It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! WOO HOO!!!! This is a diner. You go here for the basics which The Ram does a very nice job delivering. This diner is simply delightful! I checked out this diner during my most recent trip to West Chester and I'm so happy that I did. I had the midnight munchies and knew I wanted to check out this new dinner. It looked really nice from the outside. I walked in and I was seated immediately. The decor just screamed West Chester. Now, I'm not a local, but I can imagine this place is a huge hit with WCU students. The walls are very bright with gold and purple. They were also starting to paint a mural on the back wall when I was there. I decided to order breakfast. I got 2 eggs sunny side up, toast, and sausage. It was very good. No complaints here! My eggs were perfectly cooked. It definitely satisfied my serious case of midnight munchies. I also have to commend my waiter. She was an older lady, and she completely made my time there worthwhile. She was funny and outgoing. She put me in mind of my own grandmother. I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself in West Chester. :) read more

Prior to Covid we went there late one night coming home from the airport. Service was terrible. Waitstaff and management were more concerned with their phones than serving us properly. Food was average (once we finally got it). I just saw the sob sorry on 6ABC how empty their restaurant is because college kids from WC are now learning online through spring. You failed your local customers when you were relying on college kids with poor service and below par dining. Now you're paying the price. We'll never come back. read more

The only good thing about this experience was the diner being clean. First we overheard servers talking badly about another server, then talking badly about one of the customers. The corned beef hash tasted like the grill cleaner was sprayed on them. We were excited to try this diner today but unfortunately will not be returning.
