    Vegetable Soup

My grandma and I stop in on our way home from church every week. The food is consistently good. Their vegetable soup is a must have. The service is top notch here; very friendly staff!

I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was a great experience. The server was friendly and very fast. The food arrived within 5 minutes of the order and it was hot and fresh off the grill. I ordered a farmers omelette with cheddar cheese. The vegetables and cheese were plentiful and the eggs were fluffy. This was a very big omelette which was quite tasty. I had a side of sausage links which were quite good as well. The coffee was what you would expect from a diner. I drink fresh ground coffee at home so I am picky about my coffee. The bottom line is when I am in West Chester, I will definitely eat here for breakfast. This diner gets four Siberian Husky paws up.

Gotta love a diner! Not many other food establishments are open after 10pm, so it's always a relief to find somewhere that will take in some of us late stragglers. After a long day at the RenFaire, going to a diner is exactly what we need to conclude our weekend outing. The Rams Diner did not disappoint. My liver and onions platter tasted exactly like it did at the Downingtown Diner. Most of the food came out warm, though some of the fries were still a bit cold and damp. My friend asked for no pickles, but her order still came with it. And I wish I'd gotten a spoon for my milkshake. That stuff is thick. The only real drawback was the table. It could've used a better cleaning before we were seated - it was as sticky as glue or dried syrup. It was a little hard washing the residue out of my sleeve. Overall, a fine, run of the mill visit. We did get some really weird looks, but I'm chalking that up to seeing a bunch of grownarse adults in Shakespearean costumes parading into the local diner one balmy midsummer night. So, goodnight unto you all... We shall be back next year to restore amends!

Having the worst breakfast I've have ever had in West Chester. The cream chip beef is tasteless and the scrapple tastes and look horrible. I can't believe they actually served this. The best tasting part of this meal was the water. I will never be back to this place . Beyond disappointing. The one star I gave is a gift.

Spoiler Alert, I liked this cheesesteak. Carrying it to my car I could tell it had some good weight to it. The french fries did add some weight. I was very happy when I opened the container and saw my cheesesteak. It looked very well made and the french fries had the good coating on them. I would call this Cheesesteak good traditional. The roll was traditional and good. It had a good bread to crust ratio and ate very well. The cheesesteak had a good amount of good meat. It had a decent amount of cheese. I wish the cheese would have been mixed in with the meat and extras better. It had a nice balance of good fried onions and mushrooms. I wish they would have spent more time on the grill but it was 8:12 in the morning. The Cheesesteak had good balance and ratios. It had a touch too much oil and you know I don't like paying $0.75 to put fried onions on a cheesesteak.

So this is your traditional diner vibe, came to eat here on a weekend trip and it was close to the location. So in terms of customer service, our waitress was amazing, she was quick and hospitable. Food wise, I order the French toast special with eggs and turkey sausage and the pancake special with eggs and turkey patties. I got coffee which was unlimited refills as most diner has. The food was pretty good for diner quality. I would recommend stopping by if youre in the area.

Awesome purple seating area!! Go Rams!!

The Ram is a classic diner with good American style comfort food. Good sandwiches for reasonable prices.

My companion also found his biscuits with sausage gravy incomparable and enjoyed it immensely. The service was very good-hearted but rather disorganized. Three examples: 1) When we entered, we were offered a table or a booth, chose a table, and immediately were very cheerfully and politely taken to a lovely booth. 2) After asking our server for a few minutes to study the menu, a different server came by to take our order, and shortly after that the original server also came back to take our order. 3) One of our meals was delivered promptly to our table but the other went to a different table first. In spite of all this, however, we were treated very well and felt that the staff sincerely wanted to do everything they could to make our meal pleasant, which it was (mishaps notwithstanding).

Once we got up, they do not seat you. Seating and tables are first come first serve, including the bar. The upstairs bar where they do the sleigh bar is a lot smaller than it appears to be online, and you will do a lot of standing so be prepared. Plus, it can be pretty loud. Now onto the drinks: they're pretty good. The Sleepless in Suburbia is probably one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I also enjoyed the sleigh ride cocktail too. As far as their snacks go, they're alright. I understand not having a full food menu since the bar is pretty small, but $5 for a plate of popcorn is pretty crazy, not to mention that the popcorn itself was overly salty. The Cajun fries were pretty good though. The sleigh bar is starting to become a West Chester Christmas staple, and I cannot wait to come back next year!
