Great company! I called them when my garage door wouldn't open manually. Got an appointment the very next day. Jarrod came out and immediately saw the issue. The spring was broken. He quickly started working. He was professional and explained everything clearly. He even caught a couple other issues and fixed them too. So happy with this service. If you have any garage issues, don't hesitate and call Ramirez Garage Services. read more

We have done business with Ramirez Overhead Doors for more than 25 years. They have installed several garage doors/openers for us and have done repairs/maintenance when needed. The reviews are totally true! My garage door stopped working and didn't know why. I looked up Yelp and called a few companies that had high ratings. From the moment I called to each individual follow up, was handled professionally. I got text confirmation for each appointment and got a call if they were running late or early. Thank you Juan, Josh and the office team for your professionalism and replacing a 30 yo garage door opener + spring. read more

I called early in the morning on a holiday! Rudy was at my house in less than an hour. The door was fixed as much as possible. The door is very old and needs to be replaces but at least its closed now. I was expecting anywear from $500-$800. He was in and out in 30min and the charged was much less than expected. Keep in mind its a holiday. I will purchase a new door and opener from him tomorrow when his office is open. Much cheper than lowes or home depot and I dont have to wait 4-6 weeks. I highly recommend the great local business!!! read more

Shirley and Josh are excellent examples of great service. Shirley was the only person in the office and went out of her way to answer my questions and even called a tech to meet me at their store to personally answer my question. When Josh showed up he sold me the right parts and went out of his way to explain the proper installation. I cannot over emphasize their stellar courtesy and communications. Thank you to everyone at Ramirez overhead doors who has created such a customer friendly environment!! read more

Overall experience very positive from the initial phone call to the installation and follow up visit. Very professional. I had problem with the myq app, Dan came over to personally assist. Highly recommended - 5 stars. read more

Great company! They gave the best price compared to other companies I got quotes from. Those other companies also have great reviews also but trust me on the price. Jason, the installer, did a great job installing new tracks and motor. It is very smooth and quiet. He also cleaned so well after himself that I wouldn't have known there was any drilling had just been done. Anyway, quit researching like I did and give these guys a call! read more

I called Ramirez Overhead Doors my garage door cables came unspooled due an object I had place too close to the door interfered with the proper operation of the door. When I called they were booked out to the end of the week. But when I explained that I wasn't able to close the door and I would have all of my belongings that were packed in the garage for a cross-country move, they went out of their way to work me into their schedule. Juan came out, fixed the door and lubed everything up as well. Thanks for helping in a pinch. read more

Springs broke on the garage door last night. They sent a guy out around 8:30 pm (after hrs.) He didn't have all the parts he needed (he didn't know what we needed until he got there and it was after hrs. Not his fault) He helped us get one of the cars out so we could make our Dr. appt. for the next day at 9:00 am then he helped us secure the door until they could get back to us the following afternoon. They showed back up after 1:00 like they said they would. The door works great now. Almost like he smeared butter all over it, like a well oiled machine. Thanks Ramirez !!! read more

Best service ever. Called Monday morning. Got a quote for garage door springs. Next day everything was done in 30 minutes. Really good price.Thank you, guys. read more

Called these folks to have my garage springs replaced, they were swift and timely in the repair work. Greg exhibited the utmost kindness and professionalism during his entire stay at my household. His work was clean, organized, and well executed. He did not leave a mess in my garage, and there was no evidence of him ever even being there. This may seem like a small detail but I'm actually really particular about those kinds of things as any home owner should be. I definitely felt comfortable with Greg entering and exiting my home on his own free will as well, another small detail that may not seem all to big a deal but to some it may be. I felt safe with Greg long story short. Give these folks a holler for any of your future garage repair needs or maybe perhaps install. You will not be disappointed. read more

I hired Ramirez Doors several years ago to install a door opener on the existing roll up door on my old metal shop building. I didn't even know if it was possible, so I contacted them through email to find out. I sent a picture and they said they could do it. They came out in person for the estimate and gave me a very reasonable price to supply and install the appropriate opener, so I hired them. On the scheduled day the work was done in a few hours and the two guys did an excellent professional installation. Only regret... Not having this installed sooner. Thanks for the good job. read more

FAST, Courteous, and Reasonable... need I say more?? I am so glad I found this company. I called early in the AM to say my garage door was not operating correctly. Rudy said that they would respond as quickly as possible and would call back. Within an hour Greg called and said he could be here in a half hour. Greg not only fixed the issue, but completely serviced the door and it's BETTER than it was!!! Greg was very pleasant, professional, and thorough. read more

*** CHOOSE RAMIREZ, CANCEL YOUR APPT. WITH THE 'OTHER' VACAVILLE GARAGE RETAILER *** Rudy Ramirez came to our house to give an estimate on our damaged garage door. Rudy gave us three quotes.... 1) cost to repair 2) cost to replace option 1 3) cost to replace option 2 R&W garage came to give an estimate, and only gave me 2 options..... 1) cost to replace 1 2) cost to replace 2 *R&W never gave an option to repair, and R&W was waaaay over-priced! Ramirez products are comparable if not better than what R&W has to offer. the repair experience: Dan Ramirez, the son of Rudy, came to do the repairs. Dan was professional and did a clean job. Just before leaving Dan wanted me to know that if there were any problems with the door to call immediately and they would take care of it. R&W prides themselves on being in business over 27 years... well if consumers like 'YOU' do your due diligence... R&W will be gone in 2-7 years. RAMIREZ Total Custom Garage is the best choice. I called Ramirez Total Custom Garage and within an hour my garage door was fixed. It has been my first time calling in for a garage door repair and didn't quite know how to go about it, but the staff and Rudy were so friend and professional it didn't seem like anything at all. He also took the time to let me know what else I may need to get done in the future, and conveniently left the company number to in case i had questions about anything later. They were reasonably priced, i'm so glad it didn't cost an arm and a leg to repair! :) read more

Great customer service when you call! The lady managing the calls is fast, polite, and super helpful! They do charge a service fee, but it's credited toward the total cost of the call, so it's basically free. They came out quickly, worked fast, and fixed our door in no time. Only reason this is 4 stars out of 5 is because we discovered the next day our door remote openers didn't work, and had to figure out how to reset them. We didn't know this would be an issue, we just figured he would've handled that. No big deal, but we did spend over $300 on the repair, so reprogramming the remotes before he left would've been nice. Would use them again without hesitation! read more

Called Ramirez Doors to get a FREE estimate and Rudy (owner) was out the next evening as late as 830 pm just to accommodate my family's hours! Great company. Called them a couple days later to have my new garage door installed and had an appointment for service the following week! I was super satisfied with the work performed and the outcome of the entire job and service! This company went above and beyond with the work performed!! I will recommend this company to anyone that needs work on a garage door!!! Thanks Ramirez family!!! read more

My torsion spring snapped and I shopped around and am glad I found these reviews. After a bad experience on a phone with a different company I found on Google, I was determined to find someone better. The people at Ramirez are great and it's rare to find service, professionalism, and courtesy now a days. I called around 7:30 am and a kind lady answered the phone. I told her my problem and gave me a quote, which the other guys wouldn't do but hung up on me. Then she had me scheduled for the next day. She called a little later and told me they could be here in the afternoon. My garage is fixed and I am glad I called Ramirez custom overhead doors. Their service and price is an A+. I was installing my Christmas decorations and left something leaned up against the railing for the garage door. The sensors didn't see it, since it was narrow and the door came down on it. I caught it before too much damage, but not before it caused the door to come off the railings and make it so I couldn't even close it. It was a Sunday, they had JUST closed!!! I called the emergency hotline and they answered the phone, They came over right away and fixed my door! Rudy was awesome and such a pleasure to chat with!. read more

Rudy Ramirez Jr. runs a professional and honest company of dedicated employees. He had installed a beautiful replacement garage door for my home that I have owned in Vacaville since the early 70's -- so I was confident to return to Ramirez when my garage door lift mechanism went out ( an old, noisy chain drive). Rudy recommended the new up-to-date belt drive from Chamberlain's 'Lift Master' Series that is compatible with 'My Q' and 'Security 2.0'. The new unit is quiet and operates so smoothly. The installation was fast, efficient and reasonably priced . . . the installer was professional, on-time and the follow-up from the office-staff was excellent. Great advice, personal involvement and dedication is why this company should be #1 on any homeowners list for overhead door installations. read more

The guys came out and ordered the new panels for my garage door. In the meantime they secured the damaged door. Great service, great price. Going to try and make this quick, so my torsion springs broke while I out of town. Came home on the weekend and tried to locate some springs at Lowes. They don't carry them. While browsing the store Mr. Ramirez himself overheard the convo I was having with the sales associate. I spoke with him on the side. Lets just say that this company went above and beyond to help me fix a problem I was having. He even let me borrow some tools!!! That's what this world needs! More people trying help each other. This is a Genuine company with Genuine people. It a good feeling. Seriously give these guys a call and support local business!!! read more

I Love my new garage door. I called and was given a quote and set up an appointment for a estimate. Rudy the owner ( I hope I got his name right) came out. He is a very nice person, he show me a booklet showing me all the colors and designs. I had already said over the phone that I wanted mines insulated, so in the booklet it showed different widths to choose from. So I chose the door color etc. He asked me how soon would I like to have it installed and what would be a good day and time. I chose the following Tuesday, the worker arrived at the specified time and took his time. Needless to say I Love my door and having it insulated really makes a difference. With the price being the best around and the wonderful workmen ship, I would definetly recommend Rameriz doors. read more

Dan was on time, very professional and incredibly helpful in explaining all the options and what would be best for our garage. What sold me was the fact that he was able to raise the tracks for the garage over a foot, while moving the equipment to the side of the garage door. It makes our garage feel huge! The door is so quiet and he really paid attention to detail, not to mention the price was better than other quotes we had received. I would recommend Ramirez Overhead Doors to anyone. Great company! A few months back we replaced our garage door and we could not be more pleased. Besides looking fantastic, it is insulated and very quiet. Neighbors and friends often comment on how lovely our garage doors are. They are!!! As far as working with the folks at Ramirez Doors, I must say that Everyone we have been in contact with from the office personnel, installers to the owner himself have been professional and extremely pleasant. We recently needed a slight repair. The part was ordered and the technician who came out was personable, professional and fixed our repair quickly. We have a 3 car garage and he felt that the third garage door should close quieter, so he made an extra adjustment. I felt he showed the extra care this company provides. Quality work, quality product and a company that cares. Yep - I will definitely refer other people to them. read more

Came recommended by a plumber that I trust and he was right! These guys are dependable - very professional. They answered my phone (versus going to some guy's cell phone), talked to me about my situation, gave preliminary quotes on a few options then set up the appointment. All in one call whereas I had called someone else (to get his cell v/mail) and it became a game of phone tag. The young man who came to install the new opener also understood what I wanted and was able to offer a very cool, latest version of a fantastic opener, WIFI enabled and all. He saw that my door had been jerry-rigged and showed me where it had issues but didn't try to push for a sale for a new door. Explained the implications short term and what to expect going forward. I appreciated this approach. read more
