My garage door started having trouble opening and closing a few days ago. Nadir came out within 5 minutes of me calling (luckily we live in the same neighborhood) and quickly diagnosed the problem as buckling due to cracks in the door. In lieu of replacing the door for now, he was able to install some stiffeners across the door to keep it from buckling. He adjusted the springs and opener and had it working again within an hour. read more

At 5:00 p.m. we discovered our garage door spring was broken & could not open the garage door. Immediately googled emergency garage door repair near me & called the first company listed with a 4.9 rating, Quick Fix Garage Door. While dialing it showed I was calling Napa so I hung up because we wanted someone in Vacaville. As soon as I hung up I received a call from that same phone number. A gentleman asked if I just called his business. Told him we had a broken garage door spring that needed to be fixed & asked him if was in Vacaville. He said yes & could be at our house in an hour. He arrived in less than an hour, replaced both springs & had the garage door fixed in 45 minutes! Thank you Nader Ibrahim! You turned a stressful situation into what was a simple fix & for a reasonable charge. read more

WOW !!! We are so happy and glad that we called Nick from Quick Fix Garage Door. Our 35 year old garage door opener (see picture) stopped working :-). I purchased a garage door opener thinking I could just swap it out. Mistake. That thing had a 100 pieces. I called Nick and he came down quickly and had the machine installed in no time. Very professional install, including the wall button and sensors etc. He is VERY honest, professional, polite and an overall great person. We highly recommend him! Also, I will have him change our other garage door opener which is also older. He also installs garage doors and we will do that eventually as well. Highly, highly recommend, don't even call anyone else! read more

This is a very good business . Nick from quick fix garage called me at 6:30 am after I put the request in around 6 am . The price he offered me was a very fair and reasonable price compared to others. Nick came right away and the garage door was fixed in under an hour . This is a very honest and trust worthy business . This should be one of the top businesses for how quickly they can come out and service your garage , because I was in a pinch and needed my car out of the garage for work the next day. Nick fixed my torsion spring but he also I'm sure does other services for the garage door , he also installs the pulling machine, that pulls the door up and down. read more

We had a broken tension spring on our garage door and our car was stuck in our garage at 8:30 this morning. We called Quick fix and he was at our house within 30 minutes. He was honest and knowledgeable but he looked at the part that was needed and said he couldn't didn't have it in stock and would have to order it and it would take 3 to 5 days to get it. Our car was stuck in the garage and there was no way we could wait that long so he kindly gave us the part number and told us that we might be able to get a bigger company to have it on their truck. Who does that? We found a company at a Sacramento because nobody locally had that spring and they fixed it for us, but we will always remember. What quick fix did for us and will recommend them to anybody who needs honest and efficient technicians in the garage door in industry. read more

The service was just enough to get your money. I would improve on the integrity. The initial contact person gave me a quote. I paid a deposit and that was it. The same sales rep called to up sale on an opener for an additional $950.00 to install. I found that offensive and then outrageous. The iinstallers were pleasant and helpful after finding out the rep did not properly instruct me on on what needed to be done pre-installation. The installation team helped me clear the area they needed to complete the install. I assumed that I was paying for new parts with my purchase. I however was charged for new everything. The installers used a previously purchased hinge I had laying in my garage and did not did not refund or deduct it from my bill. They also used the existing hardware. They did not update or replace any parts already installed. I was okay with them using and not replacing but I have a problem with being charged for things I already paid for. So I will never recommend or refer this company to anyone. read more

Excellent work. Setup an appointment via my warranty company. Received a call shortly for scheduling the appointment, for the very next day. Showed up on time. No haggling. No nonsense. Was polite. Went three multiple other garage door service providers threw my home warranty, they all either couldn't figure out the issue or said I needed to replace the whole system which would have cost me a ton of money. I even had one service provider lie to my home warranty and say it was excessive force so I would have to pay out of pocket for the service. Because of this I finally looked on yelp and found quick fix. They came over and found the issue and fixed it with out having to spend tons of money! His name was nick and he was super helpful. He was very nice and you can tell he actually cared about the finding and fixing the actual problem the best way for me and not just the $$$. Overall it was a great customer experience and I won't be going anywhere else for any garage door problems read more

On a Saturday afternoon at 3:00, I backed into our garage door before it was done rolling all the way up. (Insert "moron" comment here). After my husband and his engineer friend spent time cursing and toiling in the garage, I yelped the guys at "Quick Fix"... They initially said they'd be here in 2-3 hours, then called back and said it would be TWENTY MINUTES!!! Ned showed up, fixed it in no time, I handed him a bill and we were all back to our afternoon in no time. VERY NICE GUY, knew his stuff, gave me an accurate and REASONABLE quote, no upsell, no BS - HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling Nick or Ned - excellent guys! I was trapped in my house, garage door won't open automatically nor would it open manually. My dog was at the vet and I had a doctors appointment-oh my, I thought I wouldn't get service in time to make either appointment. True to their name, Quick Fix Garage Door of Newark had a Vacaville repair tech, Nader Ibrahim, who was at my home within an hour of placing the repair call! Better than that, he had my garage door repaired in 45 minutes. Nader was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and very thorough. He even took the time to replace a hinge. Not only does my garage door work again, but, thanks to Nader, it doesn't make yucky squeaky noises anymore. So grateful for such excellent service!!!!! read more

Had a problem with my garage door not opening, after having multiple people take a look at it and tell me I needed to spend close to 1,000 to replace the whole system, Nick Ibrahim from quick fix garage door came and within 30 minutes, figured out the actual problem and fixed it threw my home warranty! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He tried multiple things to fix the issue before finally landing on a broken circuit board. You can tell he didn't just want to take you money and make a quick buck by making u buy parts that are unnecessary. He even helped me reprogram my garage door clickers! I know it says Livermore and the surrounding areas, but we live in Oakland and they have been quick to respond. I also saw them in San Bruno a couple days after they fixed my door (hey, look it's Nick and Nasser!) so Im not sure if they work out there too? I have a bizarro garage door and on their initial visit they replaced the motor (way, way up high) and had to get an industrial spring for it and they were able to get it all working. They were great and it was fixed quickly even though they needed a special part. More recently I called them because the last 2 days it's been stopping and going back up. I could not get it closed this morning. UGH! So frustrating. So, they totally fixed it, greased it up, and showed me how to work it manually (which I am sure he showed me the 1st time around, but I digress). I have a weird garage so it's not obvious. The fix was merely a tightening of the sensor and it was working fine. And the 5 start part? No charge for this visit? He claimed that the jiggly sensor could have been due to something that he did the last time that he was here so he didn't want to charge me, but we both know that's just not true ;) read more

Nick came on time as promised (to our home in Concord). He sized up the situation immediately and went to work. A cable had come off a pully so that only one side of the door was being lifted. He repair the problem within 20 minutes and before leaving, he lubricated all of the moving parts on the door including the hinges. The door now makes only half the noise that it did before he lubricated it. Nick was no nonsense and obviously very competent. He was very pleasant to deal with. The whole transaction was very professionally handled and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. Extremely pleased! read more

This evening we were leaving around 5:30 p.m. and our double garage door would only go up about two feet and it stopped. We tried to raise the door manually but that did not work either. We were stuck because we could not get our car out of the garage. I called Quick Fix and Nick (the owner) answered and said he would be over to take a look at in in 45 minutes. Nick arrived in about 40 minutes and said we had a broken tension spring. Nick said he could fix it this evening. He called his partner and said he could be back in about 45 minutes to fix the door. Nick arrived promptly with his partner and had it fixed within one hour. From the time we had the problem until the door was fixed was only 3 hours, and this was after hours. They also did not charge for "emergency" after-hours service and the price was very competitive. I would highly recommend Quick Fix! read more

These guys did an excellent job for me recently when my garage door spring broke down. Their price was most reasonable among a few people that I called.
