They asked me to send photos of what I had in mind, I received an estimate, and then we got a date set up. Do not recommend this business. I called and spoke with the wife and discussed the job, which admittedly is small. She said it was something they could do and asked for pictures of what needed to be done, which I sent. I never heard back, so I reached out to her again. Still absolutely nothing back from them. **SECOND REVIEW** 6/15/19 This week the wind blew our back yard gate off the hinges and across the lawn. It ripped itself off the post and destroyed the post in the process. I was horrified to get a quote from a fencing company in the 4 digit range to fix the thing!!! I was willing to just put up caution tape and never repair it for that cost. Then I messaged Kyle, who we had previously used to install a new front door that again we were given multiple quotes in the 4 digit range. This company will not do a in person consultation. They are slow to respond back to your calls or text messages. They charge an hourly rate and will not do a estimate. They ask you do send pics of a job that you want to have done when the job your asking for is a concept or an idea. You would think for all the types of jobs that they have done that they would be able to give you an idea of how much or would cost. Hourly rates are to open ended and unfortunately there are companies that will drag out a job just to charge you more money. Ultimate Handyman's lack of follow through on getting back to you and not having the courtesy of returning your calls is a big complaint. read more
