I had wanted to replace my fence/gate from a wooden one to a metal one so that we wouldn't have to keep replacing it. I had found an advertisement on Facebook with a picture of a gate that I wanted. They were called Heavy Duty GateWorks. While they may have sounded affordable they not only did a terrible cheap job but it looked nothing like the gate of the picture I sent them. Max and Jose did an awesome job creating a custom railing to fit my stairs when several other vendors on yelp didn't answer the phone, said they were too busy or flaked on the walkthrough. Max had a book of great examples and he could basically create whatever you want. He brought out pieces of iron and placed them on the stairs to provide perspective. You could really tell he cares about quality and aesthetic along with meeting code even if it takes extra labor. We went with matte black horizontal bar railing for a L shaped stair. I waited a few years to get this gate project done. Most guys I called would not even come over to take a look, but just gives me a price quote. Max however, came over immediately, with his father who helps him out, and gave me a reasonable quote.
