We got…read morequotes from a few different companies, and while 3 Generations wasn't the lowest bid, they were competitive, but Kurt took the time to explain a number of things I hadn't considered initially. Their proposal was very professional and detailed, listing what was to be done for each part of the job. They got to work pretty quickly after we came to an agreement and I was really impressed with David and his crew. They were sure to let me know when they would be there each day, and let me know when they found issues (and there were more than a few with our old house). They ended up fixing a number of problems with the woodwork around the house that I hadn't noticed how bad they were until they were exposed. The team worked through the holiday season and finished the job faster than we expected, which was really great. In the end I believe they provided excellent value that I would not have gotten from another firm.

I met with Kurt for the initial estimate and he was great in pointing out the kind of work that needed to be done and took the time to answer all of my questions. Once I made the decision to go with 3 Generations, I started working with Jeremy who went the extra mile to meet me at my work to sign the paperwork and select the type of siding for the house. We signed the paperwork in the late Fall, which is a busy time for them but Jeremy was always up front with their estimated timing, which I really appreciated. Once the work started, the job was completed pretty quickly. Again, Jeremy and his crew were very communicative and kept me updated on the status of the work until it was done. They also fixed some plywood dry rot and installed new plywood as well as correcting some roof deck problems in addition to all of the siding replacement. I've included some pictures the old siding, which was cracked and loose as well some pictures of the new siding to show the improvement. From my experience, I would recommend 3 Generations Improvements for any siding or repair work you may need!

Now, see, I don't talk about my Grand Dad much, he was a real Macho Man and that type of man scares me a bit, but he built a fence back in Nam for Marge and it aint budged since then. Well, the shitnado 2018 hit and made my Grand Dad's fence fall quicker than brick in Amazonian quickshitsand. Well, if you know me, you know my granny Marge has her kitties, Mars Bars and Mr. Bad Kitty (Mr. Bad Kitty isn't as bad anymore because he's been taking this Kitty Prozac that makes him hella chill [sometimes I steal a few hits when I get yelled at at work]). Our kitties are known to roam the property and there's dirty shit kay-ots and occasional mountain shit lions out there and without a fence, well, Marge would need all of Bad Kitties Kitty Prozac. I didn't want that, that shit's expensive. And I love them damn Kitties and I love my MeMa. Seeing that Grand Dad died back around Operation (shit)Storm he ain't around to build a fence no more. We needed something asap to protect our kitties in the yard and RE Construction was there for us. We called RE Construction on Thursday and Tony and his crew came out that Saturday and turned our ShitPile into a Fortress built like a brick Shithouse, aint no one getting our Kitties. My only wish was that the entire backyard was covered kinda like a dome with a forcefield because them damn Shit Eagles and BlueShits kinda pester my kitties. Definitely would recommend to a friend. Thanks for protecting our kitties RE Construction.

We hired Alan to replace our leaking windows and siding on the front and roof of a multi-story…read morecondo building. He is one of the most honest and quality-focused contractors I have ever worked with. During planning, I spoke to a number of other contractors who wanted to use retrofit windows and just leave the siding in place. Alan took the time to explain the proper way that the building wrap, siding and windows had to interface to get waterproofing, and how we were better off replacing all three if we wanted to be sure we'd fix our problem. Even with this extra scope, Alan's pricing was very fair. Thank god we went with Alan. When they removed the existing siding, they found severe water damage underneath the siding and a subpar earlier repair job. When this surprise came up, Alan talked us through the damage and gave us our options. They ended up ripping up two layers of existing siding, cutting out damaged building sheathing and replacing it with new plywood, before proceeding with the job. The overrun costs were very reasonable and we never felt like Alan was taking advantage of us. The end result was great quality at a fair price, and peace of mind that our issues have been resolved and we won't have to worry about the front / roof for a long time now. I would definitely hire Alan again and would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work.
