I found Luis on yelp and he came out within a reasonable timeframe. He gave me the quote right then and there. I have to say they did a great job and honest. During the demo, they broke something (not really their fault) and told me the damage. I found someone to come and fix it later that day. I did not deduct the cost of the repair because I value honesty. Some contractors will hide when they damage things around the house. I would recommend Luis and his crew. The work was done beautifully. read more

I highly, highly recommend Ramirez Concrete! We got tired of our backyard that just has dirt and dry grass all over, so I started looking on Yelp. I found Ramirez Concrete with 5 stars review, so I called and Luis answered right away. I offered to take a picture and send it to him, as I was not completely ready to what I'm getting myself into (financially). He asked if he can come and see the job, I just thought okay, I'll see if we can afford it, so I said okay. We agreed on day and time, he came on time and was very nice and I knew right away that he knew what he's doing. He was so nice and honest. I told him what we wanted, and he made very valuable points and suggestions. 2 weeks after, he started the job, and finished in 2 days! Luis and his staff are all nice and professional, they all worked hard and they worked smoothly as a team. We love how our backyard turned out! Thank you very much, Luis and team. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who would need your service. I wish your company the best, you deserve to have more customers! I just sent their info to my friends and families who might need masonry/concrete work :) read more

The owner of Ramirez Concrete, Luis Ramirez, and his entire crew are top-notch professionals and great human beings. They are on time, careful and courteous, and the results are stunning. Every day they clean up before leaving too. Luis is a great listener and thought partner with ideas that helped me figure out an adapted design after an unforeseen challenge occurred. He thought of issues like improved drainage and made sure it was done properly. He also helped me choose a tile for our mid-century modern block wall planter in the front- and it looks amazing! His prices are fair and he stays on budget. There are no surprises with Luis, and his integrity is evident in everything he does. He even helped me find another great company to put in a new skimmer for our pool, and managed to do it in perfect coordination so that we stayed on schedule. Everyone he works with has the same integrity he shows. He truly cares about the quality of his work and the quality of life he creates for his clients. I can't say enough amazing things about Luis and his company. You won't regret hiring Ramirez Concrete because they are the absolute best! I'll post more pics when the project is done! read more

I like that when Luis came out for estimate he was attentive and straightforward. No unnecessary suggestions or salesman tactics. His price was reasonable for a backyard concrete and we decided to go with him. What would take 3-4 days actually took them 2 days as we can see that his team worked really hard and efficient. We like that they also cleaned up after themselves very nicely at the end of the day. In the end, our finished concrete looked amazing and we didn't doubt the quality. Luis was also very considerate to check in on us few days after. Overall we were very satisfied with their honesty, speed, method, and result and would definitely recommend them for any concrete project. read more

Luis Ramirez is superb concrete contractor. He and his crew are very professional, courteous and punctual. I have a commercial property in Costa Mesa. I had him pour a new flow line, patio for employees, a mow strip and a new landing outside one of the units. His crew was very conscientious in every aspect of the job. Cleaned up better than before he arrived too. Today, I had an asphalt contractor see the work from yesterday's completion and commented that the job was done very well. I highly recommend Ramirez Concrete for small or large jobs. read more

Luis and his team are easy to work with and do a quality job at a very reasonable price.

If there were more than five stars, I would give it to Ramirez Concrete. Our experience with Luis and his crew was wonderful. Luis was extremely timely and punctual every day, very professional and extremely responsive, even on weekends. We were blown away with the quality of the finish work and he made recommendations that improved the design along the way, such as the height of the fire pit and the location of control joints. He was also great at coordinating with other contractors, such as the electrician and the plumber. In fact, Luis acted almost like a general contractor for us, keeping an eye on quality while were were not at home. He is now our go-to contractor for all our concrete needs and we couldn't be happier with the results. read more

After reading all the positive reviews, I contacted Luis, at Ramirez Concrete to get a quote. He said they were on a big job that would take them into the following week, but he would come by later that day. As we did the walk around for the quote, I was impressed with Luis's answers to all my questions, and he wrote the contract out right then with the quote! While I had two prior contractors with quotes, I was extremely impressed with Ramirez Concrete, and felt confident that they were the right choice. The price was also fair. I set up to have the job started the following week, and the job was finished in three days. I am just going to repeat what many reviewers were saying, as I had the same experience: Good communication, always on time, crew worked very hard and cleaned up the work area the end of each day, and the quality of work was exactly what I was hoping for. Luis and his team are true professionals and I highly recommend them. Thank you Luis and team! read more

Let me start off by saying that I'm extremely disappointed that there are not more customers posting reviews for this company. Anyone who has had contractors do work for them know how hard it is to find a good one. All I can say is that it doesn't get any better than with Luis and his team. From the day Luis showed up to give me an estimate on my driveway , he was on time, listened to what I wanted to have done and you could just tell he was trustworthy, proud of his company and eager to please. I'm a very quality minded person and when Luis was finished with the job he made sure to go over everything he had done to be sure his work met our expectations. I couldn't e more pleased with the job Luis did. I also had a few other estimates and Luis was right in line with the others but I know what he did was a cut or two above. I highly recommend that anyone needing concrete work done to call Luis at Ramirez Concrete before you sign the dotted line with anyone else. I almost forgot to mention, just as an added bonus, he takes no money until the job is finished. read more
