I rarely give 5 stars but these were earned and were tough customers and wanted order and cleanliness and great prep and clean up during and after and Luis delivered as promised. I would use he and his crew again. He was fair and came back twice after and said he will keep checking with us. We had about 12 yards....sand finish to perfection. Well done to Luis and his brother and crew... read more

We had an amazing experience working with Jose. I found him researching Yelp and so thankful we decided to move forward with his company. From our first meeting he was very professional and clean-cut. He answered all our questions without making me feel like I was being a pain or over the top, like I have experienced in the past. He was on time to our initial meeting and this carried through to his work and the work of his team upon hiring. He explained everything they were doing, and why it was important to handle in that way. I felt he was very transparent and wanted to do the right thing, despite what is easier or better for him. They did a thorough job prepping the area and we also hired them for drainage work as well. He even went above and beyond to add a small drain for us in an area he noticed water running from our AC. We hadn't asked for this at all, nor did we even realize it, but he went ahead and did it for us. That exemplifies the character and work ethic of Jose and his team. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would! You will absolutely not regret hiring them for your next job. We have already referred multiple friends to him and hope this helps propel his business forward. read more

This is the second job I've used Ramirez Concrete on. We had our driveway replaced, as well as a small retaining wall. I can't imagine ever using another company for concrete or masonry work. Luis is always prompt, does exactly what he says he will do, works efficiently, and the price is extremely competitive. Furthermore, Luis and all his crew are just nice people and easy to deal with. They take time to explain when you have questions, they are accommodating to your wishes, and they never cut corners. In fact, I was talking to the concrete pumper and he told me, after working with Ramirez Concrete on other jobs, Luis is "the best around." I couldn't recommend Ramirez more. It's nice going forward knowing I'll only need one estimate because it'll be the right one. read more

AMAZING. 100% would recommend Luis and his crew to anyone. First, Luis came out to my house 2-3 times due to design changes. After hearing from a neighbor that he did really good work I picked him. Him and his crew of 5+ people knocked it out of the ballpark for our house. We wanted to extend our driveway, cement the sides of our house, and cement some concrete blocks. I was impressed that Luis was there from start to finish doing a lot of the work and making sure everything was smooth. Luis is exactly who you want to do work for your house. Communication is always A+, excellent pricing, and even better work. THANK YOU TO YOU ARE YOUR CREW! read more

Let me start off by saying that this was my first big home project and it went better than I ever imagined. For the last 14 years we knew we had to redo our driveway and patio. The concrete had significant cracks and no matter how much I cleaned it, it still looked bad. So we hit up yelp for reliable concrete contractors, with fingers crossed. Ramirez concrete popped for some reason, so I decide to reach out. Luis responded very quickly and offered to come check out the project and work up an estimate. Off the bat, Luis came across as extremely knowledgeable in his art craft, but also extremely professional and polite. Like if this guy was your neighbor you would look for him to just chill and chat. During his evaluation he listened to what we had in mind and offered us his feedback. At the end I pretty much told him we just want it to look nicer than most concrete jobs. I knew I wanted to go with his company very quickly. His quote came in as he had mentioned. He did make one comment that stuck with me... he told me "I want this job, I will give you a price that is going to be very good. You will see." Not knowing what a fair price for this would be, I did talk to a few other contractors. No one came close is that warm fuzzy feeling. His pricing was very competitive, but with my limited research I knew he was not cutting corners and he took his work very serious. Naturally we went with Ramirez Concrete. A few days before the start of the project Luis came over and walked my entire property with me. Pointing out every detail so we could be on the same page. Along the way, my inconsiderate butt, would make slight changes. Luis took it in stride and we would have a discussion to make sure we were on the same page. He offered design advice that we appreciate so much, because of the results. On day 1 they showed up on time and ready to bust some butt. They rolled in the demo equipment and tore up tons and tons of concrete. It was pretty cool seeing how the entire crew knew what to do without any audible communication. The day of the pour was another hectic day. They had 3 truckloads of concrete and a finishing crew of about 10. It was an orchestra. The meticulous attention to detail is nothing short of extreme pride in workmanship. As the concrete dried we were with our jaws dropped, and so were the neighbors. Luis and his crew went the extra mile on the finish. They cut their contraction joints not only for functionality but for appearance. Not sure which one took precedence because they look awesome, but the functional purpose was never compromised. Throughout the job Luis and his crew made sure that we would be happy. He said it so many times. His professionalism and overall great guy attitude had me completely comfortable. But his workmanship is that of a craftsman. If you are in need of a concrete job, talk to Luis. You owe it to yourself. There is no never human being in the business, and his quality of work is top notch. He is the person you talk to on day 1, and the guy working the heavy equipment and the guy making sure the job is complete when he is cleaning your property up at the end. read more

Ramirez Concrete did a clean job on our backyard project. Since the start, Jose was professional and made the process easy. We contacted several companies and RC had the best customer service and price! We are sooo happy we went with this company. Our backyard is coming along! read more

I don't write many reviews but Luis Ramirez from RC Concrete compels me to spend some time to write this review to acknowledge their exceptional work and outstanding service. My wife and I have been wanting to redo our 20+ year old concrete and hardscape. I've been checking around and contacted at least 5 different contractors for quotes. I couldn't be more happier selecting RC Concrete. First and foremost, Luis is a pleasure to work with. He responded to my call and came out the next day to check out my project and come back with a very reasonable cost. My project scope was to demo all existing concrete slabs (backyard and two sides), remove raised planters throughout the backyard, new drainage system, build a block wall one of the sides, and install 4 posts for a patio. All in all, Luis and his team did the entire job in 6 days. They definitely have the tools and manpower to do this kind of work. It literally took them only 2 days for the demolition with 2 bob cats and a hard working crew. They spent the rest of the getting the area ready for concrete pouring. Luis and his team are hard working and very efficient. I live in an HOA and keeping the worksite clean is important. His crew clean up EVERYDAY, sweeping and spraying down the driveway and the street -- keeping the neighbor happy is important. One aspect that I truly like about Ramirez Concrete is that Luis is true to his words and I find him to be an HONEST and trustworthy person. He adhered to the agreed-upon scope, committed to the project timeline and more importantly they do QUALITY work. He even brought up a few recommendations to minimize cracking in the concrete slab. From my limited knowledge of masonry, I see some little details that I don't think many companies would do at a residence project, such as adding expansion foam all around my property before pouring concrete. I felt confident that I hired the right company for my project. Ramirez Concrete price is fair, skilled workers, outstanding service, attention to detail, and provided great services. I will definitely call Luis for any future concrete work. Thank you Luis and team! read more

I will definitely recommend Ramirez Concrete. Luis was very professional and on time. He was able to give me a quote that same day and his price was very reasonable. Luis set up the whole project and it went very smoothly no to mention how happy me and my wife are with the work Luis and his team did. The quality of work that these guys do is hard to find. Luis told me what he could do and how long it would take to do it and he delivered so if your looking for a some beautiful custom concrete work call Luis he will take care of you. read more

Was looking for a reliable concrete contractor to re-do the driveway at a property we were selling. Contacted about 4 different concrete contractors. Luis came out to give an accurate quote. He arrived on time for the quote. His price was the most reasonable price but not the cheapest. I would gladly pay a little bit more for quality work. After agreeing on the quote, we set a date to start demo and prep as well as pour day. We had some other renovations occurring throughout the house & Luis was very accommodating of that. Because of this we tried to schedule for it to be done after the bigger renovations within the house was done. Luis & his team completed the job within 2 days! They came super early both days for demo/prep and pour day. They were very clean in their clean up afterwards as well. No excess concrete was left at the job site. Overall, I was super impressed of the service Luis provided from coming out for a quote on time, great communication skills & great, fast, quality clean work. I highly recommend Ramirez Concrete for your concrete needs! Trust me you won't regret it! read more

I highly recommend Ramirez Concrete. Luis & his crew did a great job adding concrete to extend our patio. We needed to match the stamp pattern to the existing concrete & he took the time to find the right pattern & it looks great! I appreciate the time he took to make sure everything came out right. Not only that but his crew came on time, worked quickly & carefully, & left the area cleaner than when we started. Great job all around. read more

Prior to Ramirez Concrete crew coming out to our property to help us with our problems; We had problems with drainage that would create puddles in certain areas, chipped/cracked tile, and mismatch tile installed by previous owners, or hired handyman who did a horrible job. Luis with Ramirez Concrete was very responsive and provided a quote a day after he came out to survey our property. Many other contracting companies provided a quote, but only two came out to see our property and answer questions. I went with Ramirez Concrete because Luis was very confident in his recommendations, he was professional and answered all of our questions. I felt he was the most knowledgeable, and he was upfront with estimated timeline and cost. The team showed up on time everyday, they moved super fast and paid attention to every detail. They were all extremely professional and clean about their work. I was amazed with this crew: demolition of old BBQ, three planters with huge palm trunks, decorative wall rocks and wall tile, and the discovery of a water feature underground. We always new something was hollow beneath the floor tile, but this discovery didn't change cost or delay our timeline. I couldn't believe how much they completed in 1 day. It took approximately 4 days to complete this project. If you are looking for professionals who will do the job right, this is the way to go. I highly recommend Ramirez Concrete. This was a great experience and exceeded my expectations. read more

I have worked with many concrete companies in my past projects, and this was my first time working with Mr. Ramirez. Excellent communication, competitive pricing, and quality work. I met with three other contractors, but Ramirez stood out the most. The two brothers, Luis and Jose, are solid professionals. They're courteous, knowledgeable, and have a solid crew behind them. They did a great job of expanding our driveway, adding a walkway to our front entrance, and relocating some sprinkler lines. It's been about two months now and the concrete looks great - even curing, no discoloration, and zero hairline cracks. Very happy with the results and would not hesitate to hire them again for any future projects. read more

After seeing all the positive reviews, on Yelp, I decided to reach out to Ramirez Concrete for a quote. Extremely satisfied with the new concrete walkway installed by Ramirez Concrete. This was a 2 day job (November 2022) including a drainage pipe running under the concrete out to the sidewalk. I don't normally write reviews, but felt the need for Luis and his team. Extremely punctual, friendly and professional. Can't say enough about the professionalism and friendliness of his team, and the quality of the work. Great customer service and made sure that we (and our neighbors!) weren't impacted too much by the noise of clearing out the existing concrete.
