After that, I had an ultrasound of my liver and found an issue so I made an appointment. Unfortunately I was seen by a nurse practitioner who launched into the results from a while ago that I already talked to the dr. about. Update: No one answers the phone down there and instead an "AI" assistant answers but offers no help. My appointment with the dr has been scheduled 5 months out. The Dr is great- his support staff, including the snotty NP, is not helpful or caring.

No one takes responsibility for the total care of the patient here . The office staff controlled solve, the portal doesn't contain results or provide easy assess to enter information regarding history ,medications etc At My first visit ,Dr Solaimani ordered labs and other tests unbeknownst to me. The office staff scheduled an appointment for me to follow up with the doctor two months after the first appointment for which I had to pay a $70 co-pay and my insurance was billed several hundred dollars. When I got there, they told me I hadn't done the labs the Dr had ordered. I inquired as to why I wasn't notified of the labs at the first visit , there answer was " well we must've had a student who put you in the room and she didn't enter your specific lab you use into the computer " . When I ask about why there was no follow-through on this why no one called me to inquire about why I hadn't had the labs before my appointment, they said oh we don't do that. We don't have any way to know about that. They kept referring to possibly a student that made mistakes the last time I was there. No one wanted to take accountability and they couldn't explain the process of how these things are normally done. It sounds like computers run this office, not thinking responsible people. The nurse practitioner I saw (when I had scheduled an appointment with the Dr) spent only 6 minutes with me informing me "all the results of my previous colonoscopy was normal) something the Dr told me after the procedure. Then ushered me out to schedule another appointment in two months after I complete the labs they had "previously ordered. When I ask about why I didn't see the doctor at this visit, as previously scheduled I was told "oh you have to tell us when you come in so we can put you in the right room to see the Dr." "We don't know who your appointment is with!" This office needs an overhaul from the top down! I feel they just want to schedule expensive procedures such as colonoscopies and EGD's , bill your insurance then dismiss you after they have completed these .I will not return!

I've seen three other neurologists and she has been by far the best experience. She is incredibly thorough, brilliant, and so kind/compassionate. She really listens and explains everything. She came up with a great plan of action for me and I'm happy to say that just a month after seeing her for the first time, my near daily head pain and very frequent migraines are drastically reduced. She also gave some insight on a potential new diagnosis for a different type of pain I'm experiencing. Dr. Al-Khouri is the best !! The rest of the staff is very sweet also. It's easy to make appointments and the texting function in the app is really helpful. Maggie has been great too in helping organize things.

I also experienced the long wait times both in the waiting room, and in the pre procedure room that others have mentioned. That's not my issue. What has me FUMING is that I received a call a couple of weeks later from his office stating only that the results were "inconclusive". I went back nearly a year later about another issue that I was having, and he pulled up my results and told me that I have several ulcers! 10 months after the procedure! Also told me that my hiatal hernia had "Nothing to do with my reflux". He literally rolled his eyes at me when I asked about it. Every other doctor that I've spoken with about it looked at me like I grew a second head when I told them what he said. He also gave me no information about treating the ulcers, leaving me to Google what to do. He told me to just take more omeprazole, despite me telling him that I had been taking it for several years, and long term use is not recommended. Overall completely unconcerned with my health and wellbeing, and was definitely in a hurry to get me out the door. I declined to return for my follow up visit, and have requested a referral to a different gastroenterologist from my primary doctor for any future needs in that department.

During the call, she repeatedly asked for my name and basic information multiple times, even after I answered several times clearly. The conversation became very confusing, and instead of handling it professionally, she repeatedly said "oh my gosh," laughed during the call, and spoke to me in a rude tone. When she mentioned that my information was not on file, I explained that I was calling because I was a new patient. She responded by saying, "Well, you should've said that before." At that point, I expressed that I felt she was being rude and unprofessional and simply asked for the referral doctor's phone number instead. She then hung up on me. It's unfortunate that someone seeking medical help would be treated this way.
