I've been with Central Medical Group for a couple of years and Dr Grobler is an amazing doctor. He doesn't waste time with the mindless lecturing and understand that not everyone's health path is the same but he does his best to try to help you get to where you need to be. His staff is also very attentive and welcoming. The icing on the cake has been the addition of Melissa Kramer NP. I've been seen by her the past couple of visits and my goodness have I been able to get everything I need done without any hassle. This place has the best duo any patient can ask for and the only knock on that is since they're that good at their job they're busy with patients and you may wait a bit for your turn but worth the wait. Front desk was so unprofessional! On April 16th (Tuesday) I called to schedule my USCIS immigration medical exam. The lady said, unfortunately, they didn't have anything for that week. Then she said: "Actually...! Oh, never mind." Then she offered me the soonest available date next week on Thursday (4/25). I was fine with that, even though it was more than a week long wait, it was my day off which was perfect. I planned my errands around this appointment, basically my whole week was planned around this appointment because I knew the importance of it, and my usual tasks needed to be moved to other days because of it. I had been waiting for my immigration updates for more than 3 years already, finally, finally I was requested to submit my medicals! I didn't want to delay my request to submit evidence to USCIS. So I arrived to the appointment on Thursday, the 25th. The lady at the front desk said: "you were scheduled for last week, Thursday, the 18th" I was shocked, I knew clearly I was NOT scheduled for last week, I wrote this date down as we spoke on the phone scheduling this appointment. I asked if I could come in later that day or the next day, maybe they could squeeze me in since it wasn't my fault, and the lady said the doctor wasn't even in the office that week, he was on a vacation, so there's no way to even schedule any appointment for that week. She offered May the 9th, but I was not willing to wait 2 more weeks after wasting my time and waiting for a week already. I walked out so upset and frustrated. I called a different medical practitioner and they scheduled me for the same day. This is not how you do your job or treat your clients. I didn't even get a sincere sorry from the front desk lady, it seemed more like "Sorry, not sorry. It is what it is" type of situation, which made me even more frustrated. I walked out of the office mad and upset, and I'm usually very understanding, if the person admits their mistake and is apologetic, and tries to find a middle ground, but this was not the case, it didn't seem like they actually cared. I would not suggest this place because of their unprofessional staff. Even if they mistakenly scheduled me for the wrong day, they could've done an appointment reminder call or a text/e-mail, I could've walked in on the 18th if I had just known!!! After reading the negative comments, I thought there's no way something could actually go wrong with the staff, I thought maybe the customers were not nice in the first place. But I was wrong. I am nice, but this unprofessionalism left me sour, hence I took my time to write this review. read more

After trying 3 doctors in the high desert, I decided to widen my search, go to my ever-faithful Yelp app, and I am so happy I did! Dr. Grobler listened to me, gave me some great recommendations, was not hurried or forceful at all. I don't mind driving the extra miles for this type of service. The staff was friendly and helpful. Went here for my immigration physical and they are the MOST reasonably priced place. Trust me I called everyone on the USCIS list. I got my results in less than a week. Dr Grobler and his staff provide stellar healthcare. I've been coming them since it was Dr Grobler's father's practice in Chino and continue to see Dr Grobler Jr because they never make me feel in a rush or that my concerns aren't valid. He is kind, patient and calm and very knowledgeable. Dr Grobler is truly honoring his father's dedication to care for his patients. It really is a family environment here. He's quite the popular doctor so scheduling far in advance is sometimes necessary but worth it. When he does not have openings he has Physician Assistants that are awesome. I really can't say enough good about Dr Grobler's practice and staff. I don't want to go anywhere else for my healthcare needs as he treats the whole person and with dignity and respect. read more

8/5/22 - No Need for the extreme RUDENESS from this front office staff Gabby Avila.  LET ME SAY FOR THE RECORD that I love Dr. Grobler, and P.A. Dang and pretty much most of the staff.  However, this isn't the first time with the FEONT OFFICE staff that of being cavalier and incompassionate when it comes to patients calling and visiting my primary provider. Is this not thier job they chose to work? Is it NOT the urgency of a medical staff person to treat patients unkindly, with disrespect and as though their time is being bothered or interrupted inconveniently? SPECIAL NOTE FRONT OFFICE: none of us are trying to catch COVID, and furthermore, I have done all I can to stay safe.  So when a patient is positive and symptoms seem to linger then it's the staff that should exude compassion and by now a process to established to accommodate job protection extensions.  Today on 8/5/22, I went to the office not realizing Fridays the office has no physicians onsite.  It was a long walk up the steps with lungs already affected by the virus.  I was cautious enough to ensure I tested negative multiple times now before coming in but I still have residual affects that require I use a nebulizer every 3 to 4 hours.  Gabby Avila you are EXTREMELY RUDE, DISMISSIVE PURPOSELY and completely disconnected.  I calmly explained that my lungs were still inflamed and I need an additional week for work until I can work without the albuterol combo.  You advised me to go to urgent care to which I did.  Urgent care immediately recognized that I needed steriod/antibiotic shot and a chest xray.  They said they can give me Max 3 days off work which allowed me to see my doctor on Monday.  I politely called you back and you stated VERY RELUCTANTLY that I can't see doctor until the 19th.  I asked, can the doctor just give me an extension of my current leave for 7 days since Tuesdays are my Fridays and I didn't return until the following Saturday.  You BLATANTLY said, I will call you Monday or Tuesday, have them write you a letter.  You wouldn't allow me to email that urgent care is a temporary solution to the office you work which is my PRIMARY PHYSICIAN.  Gabby, you were still unwilling to make an appointment with my current symptoms with no room for compromise.  You simply said "HAVE THEM WRITE THE LETTER, I SAID I WILL CALL YOU NEXT WEEK". Not for a moment Gabby did you want to listen, try to hear and made me feel as though I was the one being rude and owed you whatever respect needed because GABBY you are the KEEPER of the calendar.i can't even see, schedule or speak to my physician UNLESS you grant it.  For now, the 3 day notice, shot combo will have to be sufficient until I can return on Monday to attempt to get an extension from 8/5 to 8/12/22 just to ensure that i protect my job. (Upland) for your DESK / CALENDAR BULLYING.  You are HORRIBLE!!!  ALL this for a simple extension.  You are PURPOSELY making me sicker then I originally came in feeling. 8/8/22 Finally drove to Chino location, this Gabby at this location is AWESOME like Dr. Grobler amd Dr. Dang are phenomenal. Looks like I was sicker then even expected, back on steroids, antibiotics, cough syrup, nebulizer ever 4 hours and sleep for next 4 weeks. My husband and I have been going to Dr Grobler's office since 2011 and have always been treated professionally with dignity and respect by the entire staff. In 2021 I was given annual tasks as a woman and with one test my mammogram I was called back for further testing. (I was told not to worry, but what do we do; worry!) I tried to get in as soon as possible. I was given the run around by the imaging center and each appt was getting cancelled and rescheduled repeatedly. I called the office and spoke with Gabby; she took charge and got me in there and stayed with me and the center until results were received and I got to see the doctor. I was given a clean bill of health; but during all this I could feel my BP rising and anxiety setting in. Gabby was professional caring and understanding and though I had my family; she reassured me I was going to be ok and stayed in contact until all this was over. This is just an example of the service you receive from Dr. Grobler and his staff. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking. My mother in law saw Dr. Grobler (Sr) and stayed with his Son when he took over and always went on and on about how she was treated and reassured. I started going here a year ago after switching doctors. My sister's family and my parents all come here and swear by the doctors so I thought I would give it a try. I saw Vanessa (FNP) first and she was AWESOME. So sweet. She didn't rush you out of the door after 5 minutes like other places. Went back for a physical several months later and saw Joey (FNP). Again, amazing attention to each patient! Several months later I began to have some medical issues and saw Joey. He has been so thorough in running tests and referring me to specialists! Even when some specialists gave me generalized, vague diagnosis, Joey continued to run tests and ask questions. It's frustrating as a patient to be in pain and not have an answer for WHY it's happening. All of my tests came back clear and we remained perplexed, but as time went on and my symptoms developed I went to see Joey again for a follow up. As I was talking to him, he stopped, looked at my chart and symptoms (past and current), and it was like a lightbulb went off. Then he asked, "have you ever heard of Fibromyalgia?" It was something I have heard of, but had never even considered as a possibility. I knew very little about the disease. As Joey pulled up the diagnostic criteria, my symptoms and pains checked almost every box. So many doctors would have (and did) give up on me a long time ago. Joey never stopped looking for answers and I finally had a reason for the pain and the fatigue. Once I began researching fibromyalgia, I was shocked to find out that there are so many women like me! Unlike me, many women go YEARS without a diagnosis. Women who have doctors who give up on them; who's doctors say that it's in their head, or that it's depression- even when they aren't depressed (although some are clinically depressed also... another symptom of the disease or result of the disease). The reality is that women are often dismissed in the medical system and told that their symptoms are "stress", "anxiety", or "depression". Women get clinically labeled so quickly that so often our true cause of illness goes undetected. We go for years in pain without the support from the the person who is supposed to be healing and helping- the doctor. I am SO fortunate that I found this medical office and that Joey has never given up on finding a cause. Joey never labeled me as depressed, anxious, or making it up. He trusted me, as the patient, to know what's normal and what is not for my body. Joey is such a bright and compassionate practitioner! Easily the best practitioner I've ever been to. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well! All of the nurses are so sweet and Dr. Grobler is awesome too. Just an overall caring staff. One note is that you WILL wait... sometimes 20minutes; sometimes more than an hour. Trust me when I say- ITS WORTH IT! Every patient gets the so much time and attention. When you are with the doctors, you never feel rushed out of the door (even when they are running behind). Good things are worth the wait! read more

Dr. Grobler Sr. was my first doctor at his practice. Oh how I miss him. Dr. Grobler Jr was still in Med School when I met him. I absolutely love them both. I could not imagine having another Dr to care for me, ever. As for the staff, the girls that have been with Dr since day 1 are ..well this is an understatement but they are amazing. Always, always well groomed, polite, professional, and always, have a smile. They are always available when I need them and are quick to respond when messages are left. I consider them family. Very nice and always answer my millions of questions I have for them =) The office staff has been with Dr Grobler as long as I have been a patient and the my are the best!
