Let this be a sign not to see this doctor!!!! First of all when he first opened his practice. I had a better insurance and he treated me so well and went out his way to help me with all my concerns and took his time with me. About a year ago, my insurance has changed which now I have to pay a co-pay of $60. I went to see him recently got about a huge concern that I have and I paid my $60 co-pay and he told me that I needed to go to blood work and he didn't even really care to listen about my concern. He just said go get your bloodwork and once we have the results within a week, make your appointment and come see me again. So I made my appointment on a Friday because I have limited availability due to me being a stay home mom and not having a car access to a car throughout the week only Friday.
The week of my appointment came so I paid a nanny to watch my kids and it was probably 9 AM the day of my appointment and I receive a call from the doctors office. They told me that they had to reschedule my appointment because the doctor had an emergency and couldn't see me today and that he had to leave early. So I told them if I could just go in there as soon as possible before he leaves just so he could measure the lump that I have because it was really starting to worry me and they said no, and then the truth comes out. They said that the doctor is never there in person on Fridays so they had lied to me and told me that he was leaving early. So I asked the girl on the phone why did you schedule me for a zoom video when the doctor needed to see me in person to measure the lump that I have. And she started talking to me in the meanest attitude ever almost basically yelling at me saying that no one had scheduled me, which doesn't make sense because if no one scheduled me, why are you calling me about my appointment? And she goes on with do you want to do a zoom video with him to discuss your blood results or not? And I asked well if I do this just for blood results do I still have to pay the 60 dollar co-pay even though he's not seeing me in person? She said yes, so then I ask her. Can you just email me my blood work she said now so I called a different doctors office so they can log into LabCorp and get my blood results and send them to me with no issue. I refuse to pay $60 just for a doctor to tell me nothing came up on my blood work. She was basically useless to me, and I found it extremely rude for her to lie about the doctor not being able to see me because he has an emergency when reality he never goes in to the clinic on Fridays.
Anyways, a month passed by and my concern is still really concerning me so I decided to make another appointment with this doctor . I come in and I immediately knew who was the girl on the phone talking really rude to me because she was on the phone fighting with insurance people and had a really bad attitude the whole time I was there. I paid my co-pay. I see the doctor and he touches the lump. He didn't even measure it and he was about to leave and I'm like hey what about my blood results and he was like oh we did blood work? Why don't you read charts before you come in to see a patient? I already had my results, but I just wanted to triple check with him . Anyways, he gave me my results and I was perfectly fine just one minor thing, but then I asked him about the medication and he said it was not gonna be covered, but we can submit of a different type of medication while walking out of the room and yelling in front of all the medical assistance to the point that if there is someone in the lobby they could hear my personal business which I believe is Hippa violation. And then he proceeded to tell me that I need to schedule an appointment for a Pap smear still in front of all the medical assistance, and if anyone was in the lobby, they still hear. So medical assistant asked me when would you like to come back to do your Pap smear and I said come back why I just paid a $60 co-pay can't you just do it now since I'm here? She's like oh you're right let me go ask him. I don't know what she said to him or what he said to her, but she came back and she said he wants you to come back in a month. Which makes no sense .This doctor just wants your money. I was there already. He just wants me to pay again to see him, which is not going to happen. This doctor is such a waste of time. I paid $60 co-pay just for him to talk to me for two minutes and not really address my concerns. So please save yourself and your money. Do not see the doctor all he wants is your money.
