Unfortunately I was seen by a nurse practitioner who launched into the results from a while ago that I already talked to the dr. about. I stopped he and told her that I was there for a different issue. She said that she wanted to go over the results from tests done months ago and would get to the liver issue later. Update: No one answers the phone down there and instead an "AI" assistant answers but offers no help. My appointment with the dr has been scheduled 5 months out. The Dr is great- his support staff, including the snotty NP, is not helpful or caring.

The office staff controlled solve, the portal doesn't contain results or provide easy assess to enter information regarding history ,medications etc At My first visit ,Dr Solaimani ordered labs and other tests unbeknownst to me. The office staff scheduled an appointment for me to follow up with the doctor two months after the first appointment for which I had to pay a $70 co-pay and my insurance was billed several hundred dollars. When I got there, they told me I hadn't done the labs the Dr had ordered. I inquired as to why I wasn't notified of the labs at the first visit , there answer was " well we must've had a student who put you in the room and she didn't enter your specific lab you use into the computer " . When I ask about why there was no follow-through on this why no one called me to inquire about why I hadn't had the labs before my appointment, they said oh we don't do that. We don't have any way to know about that. They kept referring to possibly a student that made mistakes the last time I was there. No one wanted to take accountability and they couldn't explain the process of how these things are normally done. It sounds like computers run this office, not thinking responsible people. The nurse practitioner I saw (when I had scheduled an appointment with the Dr) spent only 6 minutes with me informing me "all the results of my previous colonoscopy was normal) something the Dr told me after the procedure. Then ushered me out to schedule another appointment in two months after I complete the labs they had "previously ordered. When I ask about why I didn't see the doctor at this visit, as previously scheduled I was told "oh you have to tell us when you come in so we can put you in the right room to see the Dr." "We don't know who your appointment is with!" This office needs an overhaul from the top down! I feel they just want to schedule expensive procedures such as colonoscopies and EGD's , bill your insurance then dismiss you after they have completed these .I will not return!

I feel…read moreso lucky to have found her, she was recommended to me when I was looking for a neurologist specializing in headache conditions. I've seen three other neurologists and she has been by far the best experience. She is incredibly thorough, brilliant, and so kind/compassionate. She really listens and explains everything. She came up with a great plan of action for me and I'm happy to say that just a month after seeing her for the first time, my near daily head pain and very frequent migraines are drastically reduced. She also gave some insight on a potential new diagnosis for a different type of pain I'm experiencing. Dr. Al-Khouri is the best !! The rest of the staff is very sweet also. I also experienced the long wait times both in the waiting room, and in the pre procedure room that others have mentioned. That's not my issue. What has me FUMING is that I received a call a couple of weeks later from his office stating only that the results were "inconclusive". I went back nearly a year later about another issue that I was having, and he pulled up my results and told me that I have several ulcers! 10 months after the procedure! Also told me that my hiatal hernia had "Nothing to do with my reflux". He literally rolled his eyes at me when I asked about it. Every other doctor that I've spoken with about it looked at me like I grew a second head when I told them what he said. He also gave me no information about treating the ulcers, leaving me to Google what to do. He told me to just take more omeprazole, despite me telling him that I had been taking it for several years, and long term use is not recommended. Overall completely unconcerned with my health and wellbeing, and was definitely in a hurry to get me out the door. I declined to return for my follow up visit, and have requested a referral to a different gastroenterologist from my primary doctor for any future needs in that department.

Only after I paid for my consult and the additional tests did the receptionist tell me the little "2" at the end of the description leads to a footnote where the tests are separate. So my bill was almost $900 for a 35 minute consult and one saliva hormone kit and a blood test. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the website. My primary concern was dismissed by the doctor in the first 5 min. He asked to see my skin and told me he has the same type of moles on his skin, his moles were bigger, and that they aren't connected to anything hormonal, which was my concern. This is when I should have left, since he either didn't take me seriously or didn't know how to help me with that and just couldn't admit it. Then he took my pulse and literally accused me of trying to slow down my pulse. "It was normal but then you tried to slow it down." Uhh.. what??? It made me feel belittled, again. I ended up paying for the consult and tests, went home and realized I was pretty unhappy and this wasn't going to work out. I called the next day asking for a refund and to discontinue my journey with the doctor. Came into the office, was processed the refund for the tests only. Receptionist then hands me a letter from the doctor. It was like a bad break-up letter, lol. He states that he gives the same level of care to all other patients. If that's really so, then take your money elsewhere, where you won't be dismissed for something seemingly benign. He is happy to take a pretty hefty fee of $320 and not want to make it right if you're dissatisfied. Everyone has a right to post reviews. His tried to make his letter to me intimidating, so I perhaps wouldn't be honest about my experience on the internet. Well, people have a right to know. On a happier note, the receptionist was nice and prompt. Save yourself some time and choose any other doctor he listed on his letter. Dr. Dzvonick has a HUGE ego.
