Needed a quick bite while at the mall and had been meaning to try out RamenYa for a while. When we went I ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen and and a salmon avocado Sushi Roll. Though despite several signs advertising sushi, was told they weren't serving sushi, which was a light disappointment. The ramen however, caught me off guard and was much more complex. It's a smooth chicken broth with chilli flakes and other seasonings to give it some depth. Additionally, the soft-boiled egg formed with the broths which added chunks of a creamy smoothness to break up the bite from the chilli flakes. Overall, I enjoyed it and would consider it an above average ramen, which is great considering it being nestled in the back of a mall food court. I definitely want to try the Curry Ramen next time as it sounds a bit more unusual. Ultimately, I would come back though I may try their standalone location for my next outing. read more

Ramen Ya has quickly taken the top spot as my favorite place in the Menlo Mall food court! The spicy tonkotsu tastes like ramen from a restaurant and has many delicious and fresh toppings. If you order it to go, it's packed super conveniently so you can combine the ingredients at home. The tornado potato is a crunchy fried treat presented in a fun format. I also like the pork buns, as the buns are soft and the pork is juicy and sauced nicely. On top of having delicious food, the staff here are so nice and make me feel welcome every time I order! This is definitely the best quick-service option at the Menlo Mall. read more

Quick bite to eat for a reasonable price. Convenient to make a pit stop if you're exploring the mall. Broth is a bit on the salty side, and 1 more slice of pork would have been good to balance out the amount of noodles. read more

Decent ramen in Menlo Park Mall. I would not recommend shrimp tempura there; it felt like fake shrimp, and the skim was too thick. But ramen itself was good. The service was good, no complaints. This place is in the food court of Menlow Park Mall; seating was plenty. I recommend this place for ramen. read more

For my daughter's birthday she decided to go to the Menlo Park Mall which is an hour away from our home. While she did her birthday shopping with her older sister, her father and I decided to get a bite to eat. It's a mall so our food selection expectations wasn't too big. We were browsing at the food options at the Dining Pavillion and Ramen Ya caught my eye. It's Monday so the mall itself wasn't busy and quiet plus it's st Patrick's day too. The Dining Pavillion had plenty of tables to sit . We looked at the menu the attendant was very attentive and welcoming . We ended up trying the shrimp tempura, pork bao buns, spicy tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen and chicken shoyu ramen. The shrimp tempura was perfectly fried and crunchy, the pork buns were so juicy and great flavor. My ramen was the spicy tonkotsu omg and let me tell you...it did not let me down. It was soo good. They were generous with the add ins and didn't skimp. Before I even got half way of eating my Ramen my husband had devoured his spicy Miso ramen... I went back to thank them and let them know how delicious everything was. So yess Ramen Ya Ramens are part of the clean plate club; they were fabulous. So if you're in the Edison area in NJ definitely give it a go and pop on over to Ramen Ya !! read more

Accidentally ate the ramen so fast that I didn't get to take a pic! It was fresh and had great flavor. The Black Jack could've been spicier, but still tasty. It was a great quick bite. You can sit at one of the many mall food court tables or take it to go. If you opt for it to go, they do package it separately for easy assembly. The customer service was top tier, honestly. Stopped by the food court at the Menlo Park mall and I was happy I did. Nestled in the back left corner was this wonderful little place serving some of the best ramen I've had in a while. Their spicy Tonkatsu Ramen was absolutely amazing. The broth had amazing flavor and the noodles were perfect. My only critique would be to add a little more pork and a little less bean sprouts. I originally thought the been sprouts were the noodle since there were so many. Other than that, I can't wait to come back when they open the new restaurant in Edison. read more

RamenYa is great and despite being a mall food court location, the quality is not compromised. The veggie ramen is excellent and delicious. There's a promo right now for a ramen and rice ball/dragonball combo too. The food came out quick and hot and the cashier is friendly. The dragonball packaging is also so satisfying. read more

First time here, was not sure about the place no t many reviews. Well this place is in the food court so don't expect much. Been to other food courts and the bowls we're actually round plastic bowls, not regular soup carry out bowls which is very disappointing. The price is a bit high been to a lot better non food court that the black garlic was $2 dollars cheaper and better flavor Don't get me wrong food is ok if you are really in the mood for ramen and at Menlo mall other than that, we probably won't ever come back. So I ordered the veggie Ramon noodles on Thanksgiving Friday at RamenYa in Menlo Park mall and they were the worst noodles I have had in my life with no taste only tofu pieces inside and spinach, no seasoning just broth which tasted like chicken broth! even I make better noodles at home with taste to it! just wasted my $16 ! never will I explore such food again ! read more

I was surprised to see a ramen place in the Menlo Park mall food court. Since everything else is the same old, i decided to try Ramen Ya. I'm so glad I did! The ramen here is really good! The quality rivals the ramen you get at a restaurant. My daughter even commented it was like the ramen in Japan! We all ordered the tonkatsu ramen. The soup was really tasty, with layers of richness and flavor and not overly salty like some places. The noodles had great texture. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth soft! I was so full but polished off every bit of the soup. It came with a half egg with a yolk that is perfectly soft cooked. Price was about $15 for the tonkatsu ramen, a bit pricey for the mall. We also ordered the tornado potato which is a thinly twisted sliced potato on a stick ($5). It's made with cheese and ketchup. I didn't try this but my kids really enjoyed it. The food here is so good! It's my first time eating here since they're fairly new. The workers were all really kind. Service was finaminal! You can tell that they love working here and giving people fantastic food! The shrimp tempura here is so crunchy and they put a really delicious sauce on top. It's the best I've had. Let me just say what I saw this place months ago the first time I went was back in January of this year and I tried the chicken broth ramen chicken gyzo an tempura shrimp And man it was delicious This place is amazing than the second time I went was February of this year I tried the pork tonkatsu It was delicious then today for the third time I went to ramen ya an had the pork tonkatsu with tempura shrimp My goodness it was delicious I really love this place I don't come here that often but I do have it once in a while once in a blue moon I definitely wouldn't mind coming back I'm definitely coming here again soon the service over there it was excellent and Japanese food delicious and awesome read more

Food made to order (not sitting in tray) comes out hot and delicious. More expensive than other food court offerings and worth it.
