Ramen Sea is a good spot when you want something warm and satisfying without overthinking it. Their ramen is pretty good, and the specials keep it interesting. This latest time they had a semi- spicy shrimp ramen that packed a tiny bit of heat. The gyoza are a win too, crispy and flavorful and I almost ordered another plate. I visit in weekdays at lunch time. It's rarely busy and the service is quite attentive. Food vines very fast. It's a nice restaurant and I like to die by the window along Murphy Street where it's well lit and you can puerile watch.

Me and my friends came to this restaurant after watching the wicked for good movie at the AMC nearby, we spotted the restaurant walking down murphwy street we hadn't really eaten all day and we're hungry. The food was excellent it was hot, full of flavor I ordered the tonkatsu and their pork belly and broth was excellent jaut the right amount of salty and just the right pork flavor. Their oolong tea is delicious. The service was excellent they helped us with all our needs promptly and were very friendly, the ambiance was quiet, cheerful, and relaxing. One of my friends loved the ramen so much he got 2 servings! Needless to say we will be back!

This is one of the iconic ramen places in Bay Area: Sunnyvale CA and I wanted to give it a try...waited in queue for about 15 mins and my daughter and I were seated at a four seater table next to the entrance. We had a variety style ramen. I had the special Ebi shrimp. One of the best broths and the spice level is kickass. Loved the texture of noodles and the richness of broth. The complimentary bean sprouts are tasty and be sure to order edamame too. Simple menu, full stomach!

The wife and I haven't been here since we first started dating 7+ years ago and this place hasn't changed a bit. Food quality of ramen was fantastic with flavorful broths. Right amount of spice in mine. Biggest plus was how well they did with our 1 year old. They brought out the high chair, plastic spoons and bowls for her to use without even asking. Very great service and bomb food. Will be returning.

Great ramen and the service was amazing but the portions are pretty small for the price. There's also a lot of unnecessary add ons that are extra in comparison to other ramen places that would've thrown on these toppings for free. Good taste, excellent service, but you can definitely get a bang for your buck elsewhere

Went back for more. Tried the calamari this time and Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic on the side. Calamari was good. It's lightly coated with seasoned bread crumbs instead of the more common thicker batter coating. Really good. The dip was mayo based and also had a little kick to it. They go really well together. It's nice that they offer either half or dul size appetizer. The Tonkotsu broth seemed lighter than last time but still enjoyed it. I just addded the roasted garlic oil to taste throughout the meal vs mixing it all at once. Kakuna pork in the ramen was also consistent with taste, yummy slightly sweet which is complementary to the more savory broth. Still good, friendly staff. Ebi ramen still so consistently good. It's also nice that they close pretty late for the area. They close at 930pm.

tiny ramen at the sunnyvale downtown. ramen was served on a plastic bowl, i wish there was a ceramic bowl which can contain the heat better. i had today's special ramen ebi (shrimp ramen) - the soup was flavorful, not fishy, half-boiled egg was great (only one half egg, not two half egg per the menu picture), the shrimp was overcooked, it's hard to chew. tonkontsu ramen was okay, the pork meat is tender. two stars due to the excessive after-food thirstiness, I was so thirsty after the meal, wonder how much MSG was there in the soup.

Came to Ramen Seas with a friend on a weekday night. We were seated immediately. Staff was attentive and kind. We got takoyaki to share which was super good but very hot so don't burn your mouth lol. My friend got the veggie ramen and I got the tonkotsu spicy. They give a generous portion of pork and the egg was cooked perfectly! We both enjoyed the restaurant and would come back

Came for dinner with a friend and a toddler. High chair, kiddo spoon, and a little cup: hooray! Only wish there had been a little bowl, so she could see what she was eating. Lol The folks were friendly and food was delish. The yaki-onigiri is so satisfyingly crunchy! Only complaint is the water tasted heavily of soap. Bummer

First time here? You MUST try the black curry. It was exceptional. The service is lackluster there was only two workers on a Sunday afternoon. Need more hands on deck to serve, refill waters and check in on tables. The ambience was very millennial core.

On my quest to try every restaurant on Murphy street. I actually didn't get ramen or Japense curry here because I wasn't very hungry and I saw they offered these "mini bowls" option, so I got the pork belly and kimchi. These were the perfect size of meat, kimchi, and rice for a medium appetite. My friends reported the curry rice was delicious as well, so maybe another time when I'm more hungry. Logistics: - indoor seating for sure, I can't remember whether they had outdoor seating onto Murphy Avenue or not - Murphy is closed so you'll have to walk here but it's close by Sunnyvale Caltrain station or several parking lots

It a small restaurant with plenty of light. The service was good and fast. Both the veg and the shrimp ramen lacked flavor. It was not bad in taste but compared to other Ramen in the Bay Area I felt like it wasn't up to the mark. With that said my husband had the same ramen he had that night here a few weeks ago( veg curry ramen) and he found it to be delicious. Overall my 2 cents are that this place is a hit or a miss.

    Is dog allowed outside?

Are they open for to go orders during COVID-19 SIP?

Yes you can also order via door dash !!

Anyone know if they're taking orders for pickup?

Yes, I saw them taking orders today for pickup!

Is there a way to accommodate a low carb diet here? Can you get shredded cabbage or something besides noodles?

They have a gluten-free noodle substitute that works for me. :)

Do they have any vegan/vegetarian options?

Yes, vegan items are: seaweed salad, edamame, chilled tofu, avocado roll, chilled cucumber and tomato and kimchi. We have vege ramen*, ramen salad and agedashi tofu* are vegetarian. (*Vege ramen and agedashi tofu have fish based broth)

Can the chilled Ramen Salad be made vegetarian? thanks!

Yes! Keep in mind the sauce contains egg, but otherwise, just ask for “no pork” and it’ll be vegetarian. Thanks for asking!

Would it be possible to seat a party of 15? I've been trying to contact the restaurant but have had no luck.

I strongly believe your entire party has to come in right at the time they open. This restaurant is small and they get very busy. Their policy is first come first serve, and whole party must be present to be seated.

Do they serve Stir fry ramen?

Saw this on yelp, figured why not? It's near the house for us. Seems to be well reviewed and a new establishment. Came in, not very many people... In fact, one other family. So got seated pretty quickly and dug into the menu. It's not expecting to be greeted with some unorthodox Ramen options in comparison to many of the other places that we've been to. Of course they have your standard offerings, but then they have a lot of other different takes on Ramen that seemed pretty good. Of course, my wife had to go and try the most eye catching one: the Saturn, with it's crag of fried softshell crab on top! I wasn't really feeling soup and elected to try the Gemini (exes be damned!). I didn't try my wife's just because I can't handle spice unfortunately, for the gym and I was really good! Really hit the spot, and not too much. A lot of places to go to the 10 to overdo it on servings and always end up leaving a lot behind. This was just enough for me for one night. Noodles were very chewy and I love the texture! I don't think I've tried that before. Also, the noodles were hot instead of cold like so often in tends to be. Wagyu was cooked and seasoned nicely, a hood shade of pink, any crispy toppings, added both the flavor and the texture. All in all, I loved it and was very pleasantly surprised! Looking forward to coming back to try some other dishes! PS: Pisces, Capricorn, and a few others are out of this menu.
