In & Out Salmon Roll and California Roll
    Vincent P.

I was craving for some take out sushi and found Masa Sushi Japan in Mountain View. The have a large selection of sushi rolls to choose from and they also serve poke bowls. I went with the In & Out Salmon Roll and California Roll. The rolls were delicious, portions were big, and the price was fair. If you're in Mountain View and want some take out sushi, check this spot out!

Best place i know for sushi lunch in Mountain view area. Thanks Masa Sushi team for great work keeping good prices and quality of food I'm getting takeout here each other week and it is always yum! fresh and generous portions, super fast service and great location. 5 stars

Fresh and tasty unagi rolls and tuna rolls made by a Japanese Chef/Owner. You can see the quality and thickness of the tuna. All three items for only $22 with taxes included.

First, the Food was amazing! It was very fresh, cheap, and relatively quick! Staff was super kind and very friendly that I felt like I was talking to an old friend Area was very clean and well organized, although it's small it's very spacious and nice!

They are still excellent with good prices, decent quality, and friendly service. You get what you pay for,so I keep coming back regularly. An extra star for their consistency. Recently, I've discovered that their hamachi belly, salmon belly, and ikura pieces are very delicious! I totally recommend trying them out.

Still my go to nigiri when I'm nearby. As I sat down with my order, a frequent customer walking in asked if my plate was a hidden special?!?! Sadly, no, just my a la carte order of nigiri. Masa Sushi, maybe have a bigger nigiri plate?

Amazing food! Love the no frills ambience and the option to order via iPad in store. Staff is super friendly and service is pretty fast. We were a little sad to see that they raised their prices, but understood as quality is unmatched.

Haven't had a good bowl of poke in a while, and this place hit the spot. The sushi is fresh and i like their variation of sauces. Their miso also much more than the broth unlike some other places, w an adequate proportion of tofu and seaweed to broth. The staff is very kind as well, and parking is usually available for an easy pull up for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!

Masa Sushi is a great grab-and-go spot in the heart of downtown Mountain View. Despite the space not being the largest, the friendly staff always make me feel welcome. I usually come here to grab a poke bowl (reasonable for Bay Area prices) and love the selection of fish + toppings. I do wish some of the portions were a bit bigger (ie fish scoops) but other than that, I think the bowls are worth their value. Rolls are also fairly affordable and simple, and the fish is always fresh. If you're looking to order a bowl, though, you'll have to go in person since they don't have a poke bowl option on their online menu. Overall would highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite in Mountain View!

Service was fast, ladies were kind and helpful. The sushi itself was ok, but not spicy enough to be considered spicy salmon, could have used a little more flavor. It was good for a grab and go sushi dinner, but I'll try a different fish next time.

Tofu Miso Soup and 2 Scoop Build Your Own Poke Bowl

Every time I walk in here the employees are very welcoming and give a little cheer, so happy to have every customer. Big cubes of fish for the poke bowls and tofu for the miso soup. Very fresh and fast service. A go to for a reasonably priced, casual, quick bite. The place is no frills and has indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend.

It's on the smaller side for a restaurant (maybe seats 30?), making it a super cute spot for date night. We opted for the 17 course omakase and it did not disappoint. The timing of each course was perfect. Even though the chef was also making nigiri for a table of 4, my husband and I never had to wait very long between each piece. One of our most memorable bites was the A5 wagyu. It's grilled on a Japanese charcoal which added a nice smokey flavor to the juicy pieces of wagyu. The kisu tempura was also very delicious and as always, the nigiri's were *chefs kiss*. Each piece of nigiri was perfectly seasoned and incredibly well balanced. If you haven't tried Hiroshi yet, you're definitely missing out. Highly recommend trying Hiroshi at least once if you like omakase. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Roll and Miso soup, both to go. The order was ready within 15 minutes and before I got there. I went there on a Sunday evening around 5pm and the place was not full. It is a bit confusign to find, it is on a small street behind Co-America Bank and situated in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. They had a 2 for 1 specials and so I got 2 orders of the Shrimp Tempura Roll for the price fo one and I was shocked at how small the quantity was, you get 6 pieces with an order for $12.95, see attached photo. I was greeted when I walked in and was attended to immediately. The interior is welcoming and you walk into restaurant with the chefs preparing the sushi to the left and seating in front of them and several tables. There is no outside seating. Not only was the portion small but the shrimp part was tiny, it was mostly rice and not very tasty. The Miso Soup was hot and satisfying. It cost $2.99 You have to ask for utensils, they do not provide automatically and I appreciate that. I might give this another try if I am in the area but I would prefer to check out other sushi places and see how the quantity and prices compare.
