Medium Build Your Own (3 Scoops)

I haven't had Poke House in years and was curious to see how the quality has gone. This was my first time trying the Mountain View location and it did not disappoint! First off, the portions were generous -- literally filled to the top! I ordered the medium build-your-own bowl which comes with 3 scoops of protein (I chose Scottish salmon, ahi tuna, and spicy salmon). The fish tasted great, but it felt somewhat mundane? Though I think it was meant to be that way since they do mix toppings and certain proteins at the end with your choice of sauce(s). I thought the bowl could have used some sesame oil, but that's just my preference. Loved that the scoop of crab salad is still complementary with the order. Ordering was fairly simple and I liked how they had labels for the toppings. I would also give the workers an A+ for customer service. We were gonna turn away since it was 10 minutes before closing time and they started cleaning up, but they were happy to serve us. Space was clean and tidy. Might be one of the better Poke House locations imo!

Solid poke shop in downtown mountain view. It's very small so you either need to get it to go or find a table outside! Since a few people were liner up at the kiosks and we wanted to secure a table, my friend and I decided to order via their website. Ordering was seamless and I liked that you could pick a bowl and customize it vs creating one from scratch. I got the yuzu ponzu salmon bowl and added double avocado to it. It was delicious the avocado was so creamy. I ate the entire bowl and left no crumbs. It did seem like there was a lack of organization in there, because I noticed a big shelf behind the kiosks with a qr code to order online (which is what we did) so we thought mobile orders would be put on the shelf, but saw nothing was getting put on it. Took longer than the ETA when ordering and when I went to the counter to see if its ready, the first staff said no when I gave my name, but then someone else grabbed the bag which was behind the person that said no. Not a huge deal but it did delay us a little.

Poke House... Hawaiian Poke bowl, discovered in San Diego and founded in Milan, Italy? Yes! Little known fact of the Poke House chain, amidst the Poke Bowl explosion that hit the Mainland US starting 10 - 15 years ago, from it's distinctly Hawaiian roots and name, is that the founding location, in fact the first 8 or 10 locations, were in Milan, Italy, that Euro Fashion and Business capital in northern Italy! Why? Because its Italian cofounder, Vitoria Zanetti, had a chance to study abroad, and ended up in San Diego, Ca. and loved the vibe and the Poke! Returning to Milan, she wanted to create healthy food everywhere, and her Co-Founder, financially focused Matteo Pichi, wanted to build a global business. And they started in 2018, then got some Euro VC capital and expanded. Over the years since. They acquired some companies in Portugal, Spain, and California (Sweetfin) and have over 140 locations, mostly in western Europe and California. I came to this location after going to the City Sport Gym in the same mall. It is clean, well run, and has signature pre-selected bowls, hot bowls, and BYO bowls. I opted for the Mido Salmon bowl ($21.24) which includes chunks of salmon, lean salad, masago, cucumber, edamame, sweet onion, grape tomato, bikini seaweed, furikake, seaweed salad with sesame oil, miso aioli and ungai sauce. I put this all on a base of leafy greens and julienned zucchini ( you can pick white or brown rice as a base, too). I also added almonds and ginger toppings. I got an Itoen Green Tea bottle, which pushed the total over $25, but that allowed me to get a free Onigiri (rice triangle covered with nori sheets (dried seaweed) and all they had was the tuna salad variety ($3.50 value). I wonder if Poke House in Milan offers a base of some type of Pasta? How about in the UK? Bangers and mash? What do they offer in their Romania location?

Best place for poke If your close by and it's summer good to have poke bowl nice and chilled fish. Fresh and tasty

This place is bright, spacious and clean. There are a few tables outside for outdoor seating. Everything is clearly displayed behind the counter and items are well-labelled. The menu listed all the choices well. The bowl is good and ingredients are fresh. Many choices for people to choose from. Please note that it's in a busy complex (City Sports, Marshall and a few other restaurants) and parking is horrible during peak time. Delivery drivers just parked in the middle of the aisle and block all the traffic and created grid-lock. The parking direction is one-way only. You'll be stuck in the one-way aisle until their car is moved. Suggest you come during non-peak gym time and shopping time. Remove one star for the bad parking situation during peak time.

Ordered to-go and loved this place! The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the bowls were packed with toppings. Friendly service too. Definitely a great spot when you want something filling and delicious!

Good bowl! Flavors were nice and generous portion. They have few tables for in door dinin. Although, staff was not the friendliest. I had ordered online and picked up in person. I had requested half rice half salad. When I opened the food at home, I realized there was no rice. They did not mention anything at pickup. I would definitely go back but not sure about the location.

1/1/2026 Poke House 1040 Grant Rd Ste 360 Mountain View, CA 94040 I went there for a light dinner on New Years day. It's in the Grant Rd. plaza next to the Habit. Parking can be hard to find when it's busy. It has some interior tables but it's mostly a take and go place. I ordered my Tuna Lover Bowl at the counter, the server was a little difficult to understand through the barrier. It's custom made and there are a lot of selections but I basically got no rice and lots of veggies with the assorted tuna cubes and Krab salad. I paid at the other end of the counter, and they weren't prepared for cash, but I had exact change including tip. Everything was fresh and tasty. The seasoned tuna didn't have strong flavor. The tiny Wasabi packets were very potent. I was happy with my poke, a good value and will repeat.

First time at this location and I left impressed! Great service, efficient ordering process, and lots of fresh choices! I decided to build my own bowl, medium size, and picked three proteins (ahi tuna, salmon, and garlic oyster tuna). They add a scoop of crab salad at no cost! I got an array of mix ins and decided on the wasabi vinaigrette (very light flavor). I added seaweed salad as a premium topping (extra cost). This bowl was stacked! No scrimping on scoops here. I'd likely go for the small size (2 scoops) next time. The dining area is bright and clean, with generic modern ambiance. I took my order to-go this trip and all items are compostable, aside from the lid. Warning: their wasabi in the packet is brutally hot, unless I just got an outlier. Normally I slather packet wasabi on my bowls but this was way more intense.

Thanks to KQED Late Night Eats, arguably the best food blog ever, I learned about SH Hawaiian Barbeque and Donuts and decided to stop by here when I was finishing late from work and on my way back home. I love Hawaiian food and got a few different items so I could sample a variety. It's important to mention that you are not getting the best Hawaiian food of your life when coming here. However, for a place that is open late, the food is pretty decent. I also got a couple of donuts and they tasted as good as the ones you would get from Krispy Kreme or any generic donut shop. Although I didn't order any, they also have have some Chinese options, which, again, look similar to what you would get at Panda Express. As someone who often finishes late from work, I enjoy having options for places to eat that don't just serve fast food. Again, you aren't getting five star dining here but if you want some decent Hawaiian food or donuts to satisfy your late night cravings then this place is a great option.

It didn't seem healthy The chicken katsu is flavorful, not as salty as the regular bbq chicken. I think it's the sauce that made the bbq chicken super salty Their Mac and cheese salad was good. And their spam masubi is good as well. Overall i felt it was just okay Can't comment or service or the interior given this was a to go order.

The halo halo is $10 dollars with only 1 scoop of ice cream and it's 1 size only. Pretty pricey. Since Kalesa is in Milpitas this would suffice. Kalesa sell their halo halo for $10 dollars but with 2 scoops of ice cream and it's a pretty big dish and shareable between 2-3 people if you eat it there. Btw, the servers here at Rene don't wear gloves or hair net if it mattered. Taste is a little different today. I told the lady server we were to eat in, but they'd put the food in the to-go container...uh ok. But gave the other family paper plates! We were in the area and don't frequent here much but it's decent toro-toro or like a taqueria kind of an eatery. I wish they would wear an apron or something when handling food. To make it shown how serious they are about sanitation. Or to not put back the unordered or cancelled food back into the tray.
