Damn. Yelp fooled me. Ramen here is straight a$$. Owners, I urge you to go try some real, authentic japanese ramen ran by japanese folks and re-evaluate. Broth has no depth, egg way overcooked, and to make things worse, something smelled like dirty rag in my ramen. Roll was absolutely horrible. 10:2 rice to tuna ratio. My wife and I tried this place this past weekend. We moved here from Los Angeles, and we been to many ramen places from Downtown LA to Long Beach; so we want to give AV a try. Their California Sushi rolls was sour and pretty warm to hot. I had their number 3 on their menu and I develop an allergy reaction, my tongue has a blister. Never had that happened before. Their Mango Tea, had a lot of syrup - like drinking sugar water. We will try other ramen places in their area. Yes the AV is more affordable to live but we do missed the La food scene read more

Why oh why did you change a good thing. When something isn't broke don't fix it!! We always order the fish and chips because it's sooooo good but I don't know who was in the kitchen the last time we went but instead of cutting the fish into three pieces they just battered the whole thing and fried it. The batter wasn't cooked all the way in and it was such a huge piece & hard to separate. It just was not good. We were so very disappointed as this was our favourite place for fish and chips. I found out about this older when the vivid 19 stay at home order began. And I was actually in the parking lot debating whether or not to order the Pizza Hut next to them. I saw a woman come out with a ton of bags of food and I decided to look up the menu and it looked good. This place is amazing in the last month I've eaten at this place numerous times. The fried dumplings are great, California rolls, yakisobba, chicken cutlet, beef udon , and chicken teriyaki are my favorite so far. It is super clean inside and the staff is friendly. The Ramen here is Delicious. I ordered for pickup and the food was hot & ready. They now have indoor dining. I have tried the Donkotsu Paitan & Golden Curry. My favorite so far has to be the Donkotsu. The Curry was too thick for me. I prefer the Donkotsu. The flavors were very in depth. The Ramen base was filling itself and very rich in flavour. The curry fries SMACKEDDDD. The seasoning on the fries was delicious it didn't even need any salt. The curry that comes with the fries made the perfect combination. The Teriyaki noodles were really good. Tastes like grilled noodles with fresh vegetables the beef was tender and flavorful. The teriyaki stood out in the beef, it was a very satisfying. The Katsu was crispy crunchy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The sauce they put on the Katsu went well with the Katsu. I wish they put more of ittt. This place is clean, well kept and has very friendly staff. Can't wait to come back here again. read more

Very disappointed of this place! First and last time I will ever come here. The lady that sat us down had so much attitude and wasn't attentive. Yes the place was busy but you can't tell a customers "next time when we call you you have to answer" when she told us that we showed her our call long showing her that they didn't call us and we didn't have any missed calls. She still said "we did call so answer next time". When she was taking our order she was giving us attitude. Once they gave us our food after 5mins they took it away. Thankfully we didn't touch the food. She gave us the wrong order and took it to the right table. She didn't ask us if we touched it or ate from it. Been passing by this place for weeks so I decided to take the mans to try it out. I'm a vegetarian so my choices were a bit limited but my boyfriend says the small plates we ordered were quite good. I ordered the veggie shoyu and took out the tomatoes and added egg, jalapeño and chili oil (which were all additional charges). Mans had the beef udon with again additional egg and chili oil. Overall our food was really good, definitely really full. However I do think the additional charges on the extra were a bit much, the veggie broth was almost tasteless and their tofu was the same. What made it flavorful was the addition of chili oil and egg, so I'm a bit disappointed. However the beef udon seemed really good per my mans opinion, he says they cooked the beef really good. I recommend if you are not a vegetarian. read more
