Our little boutique Ralphs. At the corner of Magnolia Blvd & Coldwater Canyon, behind the 76 gas station resides this local market, with great staff, streamline layout and plenty on the shelves and behind the cold doors. There's self checkout on the east side of store, the closest to Coldwater Canyon. And a handful of registers, a lot of which are open throughout the day. Good produce and a fair amount of things you need. Manager and staff are super friendly. The parking lot is surprisingly spacious and easier to navigate than larger locations, something I've come to appreciate a lot. Often find myself at this one to grab a few essentials and/or stock up on items before or after a big event like a Celebration of Life recently, birthday party, holiday or summer event. Great selection of craft, domestic and imported beer. Sometimes I can't find a few of the plant-based items I get at large Ralphs, but do find plenty and am grateful for the manager specials, sales and discounts.

Gift card balance after literally just adding it to my homedepot account nothing was ever on it!

My brother bought a $50 gift card from this ralphs and they didnt even activate it, $50 down the drain and the manager Maria along with another lady named Jay said there is nothing they can do about it, straight scam artist dont even try to buy a gift card here you will be scammed!

The store

An employee named Liliam accused me of stealing when I hadn't even stole anything. I'm wearing my companies vest so she was discriminating me and judging me For how I looked but that was very disrespectful and I feel violated and I would like for her to be revalued for her customer service so no other customer goes through this .

What's in the photo? Nobody.
Shay S.

Zero customer service score! They're doing your favor that they let you pay. There is nobody who can take your order only by automated machine, and if it doesn't work, "the lady" he's doing you a favor to come and "help you"

Security dudes car... parked in front, in the red... ALL THE TIME!

The armed security guard at this Ralphs consistently parks his Honda in the red zone out front, blocking a two-lane traffic area and causing headaches for hours. To make matters worse, he loudly yells at customers who attempt to do the exact same thing. This hypocritical behavior has been an ongoing issue for months, if not years. On top of the unprofessional security presence, the store has a severe pest problem--I've personally seen roaches in both the produce and bakery sections.

Cashier Jennifer G was wrong and disappointing. I tried putting in my rewards number she advised i dont need to. When i got my receipt back, it said i could have earned 16 points. I learned my lesson- the staff at this location is misinformed. They can improve by educating their staff.

Really nice employees at this location. Store is not very big and usually crowded so it can be hard to navigate around.

This review is especially for their Ralphs "Pickup" service…read more I shop using the Ralphs app. Using all the digital coupons in the app, I do all the meat shopping here. Kroger brand is always the best bargain because it's the parent company of Ralphs. With everything in my digital shopping cart, I checkout and order pickup for free the next day. An employee at this Ralphs finds everything for me and bags it up. They bring it to designated parking spots on the lower level. I very much appreciate this personal shopping service. In the app, make sure to select this Ralphs location for the greatest selection, as it is one of the best in Sherman Oaks. Your shopping Items are kept in a special refrigerated section, so it stays fresh until you arrive to pickup (according to the employee who brought me my groceries last time). If you do end up going inside this Ralphs to shop for yourself, it's one of the nicest ones I've been to in the Valley. Thank you to all employees who make this Ralphs excellent.

But don't worry, I could go pick them up at some random time tomorrow (I work an office job, that doesn't work for me) so instead of guessing when I might get groceries, I contacted customer service to help me cancel. Well only the store can cancel the order, so I got to waste 45 minutes with them only to have to go in and deal with this myself. Why have a customer service line if they literally can't do anything?

I called the Seafood Department to place an order for some fried fish. I had called last Friday around 7:30 p.m. to order fish, but it was too late. Anyway, Adrian (sorry if I misspelled your name, sir) answered the phone and was very polite and courteous while taking my order. Now, this is a "you buy, we fry" service inside a grocery store, so I wasn't quite sure if I could call in an order. But after my last visit, where I placed an order and walked around the store while the fish was frying, I honestly didn't see why they wouldn't allow it. I originally wanted catfish fillets, but they were out. Adrian offered catfish nuggets as a substitute, but I passed. I then asked for red snapper or rockfish, but they had neither. I moved on to cod, but at $19.99 a pound, I said, "Not today." Finally, he told me they had tilapia for $10.99 a pound, so I ordered two pounds. He asked what seasoning I wanted, and I told him I wanted to try all three -- Cajun, lemon pepper, and one other that I can't remember. He told me it would be ready in 12 minutes, and when I arrived 12 minutes later, it was ready! It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I could hardly wait to get back home and eat it all lol. I will definitely be back next weekend. Thanks again, Adrian. :-)

The spicy tuna rolls are amazing. $10 and you get a very good amount of quality tuna in the roll for that price. Their overnight oats with Greek yogurt, chia seeds and fresh fruit are also amazing. -(They make for a good dessert after a sushi roll.) The Nigiri is good, but for the money you cannot beat the sushi rolls. They also have several other offerings in terms of salads, fruit, and Asian market specialty items. The staff is always friendly, you can have a fresh sushi roll made for you if you ask the sushi chef. Upon checking out, the staff is always friendly, offering utensils to go. I picked up a few items tonight, and one item missed the mark. * The Bad -- Hard Rice: The pickled pear baked salmon onigiri had a tough, dry texture. * Food : The package label showed the rice ball was already three days old. * High Price: It cost nearly $7 for stale food that I could not finish. Their prices are high. Head to the Valley's Japanese grocery store like Mitsuwa in Northridge for sushi or a Korean grocery store like Greenland Market in Van Nuys for prepared food made the same day at lower prices. The Good: * The spam musubi was made the same day and tasted fresh. * The butter mochi was delicious. Final Thoughts: I expected fresh food made that morning. Selling three-day-old rice balls at this price is unacceptable. I will not return because they sell items past their prime. I would not buy their sushi based on my experience as it might be old as well.

Parking here is easy on the street or in the parking structure, versus across the street in a cramped parking lot. The staff are friendly here as any other Trader Joe's. One remark I will make is that this location feels bigger and less claustrophobic than the one across the street - both the parking and the shopping experience. The aisles are spacious which makes the store appear bigger but it ain't. I did my rounds pretty quickly and it wasn't crowded. Pretty stocked up otherwise. The only downside: the female cashier who checked me out yesterday did not bag items for me (other places they do it automatically) that was odd. She stood there as I bagged them. Haha ironically the cashier behind her had a buddy who was assisting in the bagging process with the cashier(short staffed? Or selective?)

Approached this one older man and asked him if he could make me a bowl of Poke, he said no, you have to do it yourself and as I was still talking, he kept walking away from me. I approached him and said"I am talking to you and you keep walking away from me". That is rude and unprofessional. He didn't even apologize. His name was Mario in the seafood department. Poke looked very fresh along with all the other toppings and ingredients. Just by looking at it, it was super OVERWHELMING! He had nothing else to do, because he had both of his hands behind his back and just walking around. If he wanted to to help me, then he would have. This was on the morning of 7/17/26 a little before 9AM. On the other hand, Tony, who worked the Sushi Bar, in the same seafood department, saw what happened and apologized on Mario's behalf. The fridge for Sushi and other ready made fish items was EMPTY. Tony asked me what is it that he can do/make for me? I replied Spicy Tuna roll. He even wanted to know how many pieces? I told him 8. Right away he went back into the kitchen and made me what I have requested. For 8 pieces was only (12.99). Not a bad price. Came back and handed me the Sushi. Got home and tasted the food and it was very fresh and delicious. Next aisle that I visited was their frozen section. Needed to buy few waffles. There were 2 guys, that absolutely refused to help me. Wouldn't even let me speak. So, I looked around and found the waffles that I was NOT looking for. I wanted the Belgian Waffles and didn't see any. Got the Vans brand Power Grain Protein waffles, and gluten free Original Waffles. So for 4 waffles together came out to be $18.89 with tax. Next disappointment was, went to check out and there was no one at the registers. Waited for like 5 minutes, until this woman came and turned the light on for register # 4. Couldn't catch her name. Store was in a very nice condition, very clean, and fully stocked. They have everything from A to Z. Nice music was playing overhead. They have a very nice, big, 2 sections of patio/outside seating and every now and then, if you are lucky, you may find some items from everywhere that is on sale! They also have an inside seating by the flower area, and all around. Free parking, Wells Fargo ATM machine, and 2 gender neutral restrooms. I practically covered everything and more.
