Ralph's has home delivery! Earlier this afternoon, Dianne, an angel of mercy from #instacart came a knocking on the front door. I suppose and hope that many Angelinos are heeding the Gov's directive to park our behinds at home. She brought several Ralph's bags of much needed food & beverage supplies. I wanted to hug her but resisted my innate urge to display my gratitude. Do you know that they are out there touching surfaces & standing in line at the grocery store where peeps still are not following social distancing protocols? I would imagine that those of us that earn a living working in the "gig" profession, rely on tips to help meet their budgetary overhead. So, if you don't get everything that you requested of them when they are doing a Ralph's run for you, don't use them as a punching bag to display your displeasure. Just because you didn't get your 3 lb. & 14 oz. jar of M & M because hoarders had just depleted Ralph's shelves, you shouldn't withhold your tip to them. Yup, there are a few folks who need a refresher course on tipping. Be kind, courteous (saying please and thank you is always a good start). And remember to wash your hands and serenade your neighbors with the Alphabet Song. Peace. read more

Been coming here for many years and always been pleasant until yesterday. I was at the bakery section with my husband and went around looking for chocolate chip muffins & didn't find any. So I went and go ahead and ask someone that was working behind the bakery counter if they have it elsewhere or if they have anymore left. She kindly asked me if I needed 4 count or 8 count. Then this employee name Michael was restocking merchandise and interrupted me & said "whatcha talking about???" in such a rude way. I simply replied to him that someone was already helping me. Then my husband suggested to him if you're talking to a customer don't be rude. He just ignored us & didn't even acknowledged us at all. Michael needs to have a better customer service. Specially, I wasn't even asking him anything. Don't approach customer like this!!! read more

Does not take Apple Pay AT ALL according to cashier. Just left all my groceries because of this.

Don't think you can ever go wrong at Ralphs. This store is super huge so maybe I would go elsewhere for one item, but if you wear a Fitbit you're sure to get your steps in! One thing that always impresses me about any Ralphs is their floral department. Beautiful, fresh blooms and plants and very reasonable prices. read more

Great prices and employees always willing to help. Clean and organized grocery store.

I have been going to Ralph's for over 15 years. I've had nothing but, professional and kind service will all the staff there. BUT, the one important aspect of this Ralph's store is the pharmacy and Technicians and Pharmacists. I get greeted by my name. The pharmacists follows up on my concerns with my medications and refills. I really appreciate all the work that they do. Thank you Ralph's pharmacy! Sandra N. read more

This is Ralph's idea of social distancing. The one on Hawthorne near galleria. I did the scan and go buy have to wait on line with all these people. Absolutely crazy. And they only have 1 self check out section open instead of 2. I usually ship here but this will bre the last time. read more

This store has a threatening feeling to it at night. Random individuals stalk the front door, and the "security" officers pace around and allow shady folks to pilfer and just run off with merchandise. The costs are higher here, of course, because someone has to pay for the stolen items. If I have to drive further I'm going to patronise a store with a safer feel to it. Unnerving. read more

So I've been going here for years and never had a problem last night I bought 5lbs of chicken from the meat counter When we unwrapped it to cook dinner tonight it just had an awful smell and after looking at it it had gone rotten and a period of less than 24 hours so if you do shop here I would be very weary of their meat what a disappointment!!! read more

I have always been a loyal Ralph's shopper up until about a month ago. This Ralph's has the dirtiest parking lot, most times no clean baskets, expired products, and to top it all off they recently hired an armed guard to stand in front of their store which seriously concerns me. Do yourself a favor and find a new grocery store ! read more

I'm starting to really like this Ralph's. I'll sometimes come in here when I need a couple of things and I just happen to be in the area. There's plenty of parking and the store is of a pretty good size. The shelves are always well stocked when I'm in there and the store itself is very clean. The employees I've encountered have been friendly and it's also nice that they have self check-out. They never seem to have long lines since they usually have a decent amount of check stands open. read more

It's so sad it's come to this point where we can only buy toiletries is a special section. The employee today apparently doesn't believe in customer service. I said how's it going and no response. Perfect person for the job. Just stands there. Just turned off by this. I do have to say some of the long time employees are decently friendly. read more

I bought some groceries here after I landed at LAX and it did not disappoint. I found everything I needed for the week. It was a little late at night but I still managed to find everything and more. My cashier was super nice and helpful. I will come back here whenever I'm in the area again. read more

Horrible customer service!! I had an issue with my online order so I called to speak to the manager. She told me they would replace the items and give us a $25 gift card for the problem. I was fine with that. My husband goes back to the store to return the items and get the replacement and the $25 gift card and nobody knows what's happening. The manager excuse herself to the bathroom and all the associates are standing around looking at each other. My husband got frustrated and felt he looked like an idiot with no one helping him. He walk out and told them to keep your shit!! So over it. I tried to resolve at the store level but now I except corporate to step in. Hope someone reads these reviews. This store looks to be going in the wrong direction with customer service. Expecting a fund!! read more

This was my first visit to this really beautiful store! I walked in seeing what I thought was the manger picking up veggies on the floor. She then picked up dropped garbage. I said wow she really cares about this store. We enjoyed our shopping and everyone was very nice. The pharmacy lady was very sweet as I was passing the area. I also want to thank the tall gentleman in deli for doing a great job with our order! We then went to check out to see the same manager trying so hard to make sure her team had lunch and breaks. She was doing this with a smile then actually ringing us up. I was so impressed how kind she was and she said how much she loves her job and treats it like as if she were in her own home. Thank you Miss Teresa goodness I hope I am correct with her name. She is to be acknowledged by your company for her amazing service. Congratulations on having great management. read more

This used to be my main grocery store for at least 15 years as it was conveniently located on my commute from work, had pretty good sales, a bonus card program that wasn't about overpriced gas, and pretty much had everything you needed in one place. In the last 5 years it has been in decline to the point where I am in fact BOYCOTTING it, and a large portion of that has to do with completely ridiculous, incompetent staff and "managers" who should not be managing anything ever in anybody's life. I have had people on the phone here who barely spoke English and just hung up on me while claiming to "transfer". They also keep moving merchandise randomly and illogically, so you are just running around searching all the time, and they fail to restock the most basic items over the course of the day. The deli chicken used to be good but hasn't been in a long time. Produce and meat is grossly overpriced. They are also too lazy to actually check you out and just try to get you to use the self-checkout at all hours, which of course malfunctions half of the time and who has time for that? Checkout clerks with an attitude, as if they are doing you a favor when it is in fact their job. Service = zero, and this is what happens when you hire semi-illiterate people who may be cheap but are completely lazy and incompetent. read more

I like Ralph's but this one is a bit on the ghetto side. I would prefer any of the other Ralph's in the area over this one, but go to it if I am driving right past it, which is why I visited it tonight. They did not have enough checkers open so there were long lines waiting to check out, and not quite enough space for everyone to line up. Not the best, but totally adequate. read more

This is a HUGE Ralph's store, one of the biggest in the South Bay. They have a great selection of everything here but there is a serious homeless problem in the parking lot with people approaching you even knocking on my window asking for money. I believe this is due to the Recycle America booth outside the store. Every time I am here I see a lot of shady looking people hanging around. Just keep an eye on your handbag when you leave the store, don't unlock your whole car until you've put all your groceries in it and then lock it again once you are in it. You never know how aggressive people will get. I've been approached on several occassions at this store. If it weren't for the problem in the parking lot, I would have rated this store 5 stars. read more

If I can give it less that this start I would the lady at the deli department is very rude and Unsanitary. She ignored me for a while until I said excuse me I need help. Then she was scratching her hair and didn't wash her hands and came to attend to me without washing them and I told her excuse me can you please wash your hands. Before you try serving the salad their and she said uggg you what help or not.I walked away and left the store her name was MARIA has dark golden blonde wavy hair. read more

My cashier today was horrible. "Kevin" has absolutely no customer service. I bought some sodas for the 4/$10 deal. All the tags are the same. 12packs, 8packs & 6packs. I went though self check out first. Then I checked my receipt and sure enough, it didn't ring up properly. Then I saw Kevin. Thinking he'd "Make it Right". I was dead wrong. I explained what had happened. Handed him my receipt, wanting to return/exchange the two 6packs then purchase the 4, in one transaction. Then he got confused. Then said fucking three times. Now he's frustrated. Then I had to repeat what I wanted. Then he finally got it Then I kid you not, said. He said. "You just can't read the signs"?? "That's why YOU got it wrong" OMG I WAS LIVID!! I had to walk away.. Now if we were on the streets it would have been different.. ESPECIALLY if my son was with me!! I really only shop at Ralph's because of the soda deals. Plus they wouldn't give me a rain check. They didn't have any Barg's root beer. You would think they would give their employees a assignment test. Surely he'd fail.... ROYALLY. APPALLING BEHAVIOR.... read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Where are your employees?? Why are no check stands open? Self check out only? So scan and bag my own groceries. Do I work for you? NO I don't!! This review is based on customer service. Earlier my 6 yr old daughter accidentally left her stuffed tiger in the shopping cart. I called and a man answered, I asked him if a stuffed tiger was turned in and he immediately said no. Shame on him for not simply TURNING AROUND to see it sitting behind him. He could have cared less and seemed annoyed just by my call. HORRIBLE customer care on his end, I wish I caught his name just to tell everyone how careless he is. Obviously if I'm calling about a stuffed tiger it's for a child and he should have put in more effort to help. I decided to go to the store anyways. Ashley helped me and got if for me immediately saying she is glad they kept it because it appeared to have sentimental value. She is correct, my daughter has had it for a long time and can't sleep without that stuffed tiger. THANK YOU so much Ashley!! read more

I stopped by this morning to pick up a tray of fruit. The only registers open were the self check out's. I do not like self check outs because they malfunction too much. So I looked around and there is this man standing with his groceries on a regular register. So I got in line there. No one came for a while. So after asking the cashier at the self check out walks over with an attitude as if she is doing us a favor by checking us out. Saying that they are busy and we need to hurry up. I was outraged that as customers we have to deal with this type of service. I hope Management does better to make sure the store is properly staffed. For now I will go to Von's even if it is out of my way. read more

Happen to be doing some banking at WF, across the street & after, decided to stop in for a few things. Well there were some changes, first, there is now an area to have a Starbucks, while the Starbucks had already been there, it was a grab & go. So very nice. Btw, you can also get something from the deli & eat there as well. Next is the deli counter & some of the area around it. Like how it's now stream-lined. Easy in & out unless your ordering many items. Lastly, wait for it, yep, the bathroom. There still in the same general area, but the men's can accommodate up to 3 at a time. Use to be 1 and the wait, sometimes was 10-15 minutes. The balance of the store, or at least the portion I saw was the same, no change. I think the 3 areas of change are right up there in importance. Well at least when we go. read more

If Home Goods and Ralphs were to join forces, it would look like this store. When you walk in, it's like any other grocery store. They have a produce, meat section and food aisles typical of a Ralphs. But, as you start to head down the main front aisle, it's hard not to notice all of the non-food stuff and knick knacks....pots, pans, dinnerware, vases, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, backpacks, school supplies, plastic BBQ plates and utensils (the bright colored kind that you would use to feed kids with), decorative shells, and random home decor. It's overwhelming and very cluttered. Service was average. The only reason I would return would be for their meat alternatives section...Simple Truth meatless burgers are good. I went to Ralph's for service at the pharmacy this afternoon to get a prescription for my mom... since the pharmacy doesn't have a bell for any assistant to see you or know that someone is standing at the counter, I had to knock on the counter to get someone's attention. At first, I knocked lightly, but no one said anything, so I proceeded to knock a little harder since I didn't know if anyone was actually there or around the other side of the wall maybe in a stockroom ?? since I wasn't being acknowledged by anyone at all, I walked up to a store clerk to ask if they could, please call somebody to the pharmacy... right as I was walking up to a store clerk, we both turned around and noticed this young man was at the window at the pharmacy. So I walked back over to the pharmacy When I walked up to the window open area, he didn't look up and acknowledge me, so I said "hi can I get some help? He looked up, walked over to me, and said "ma'am was it really necessary for you to be knocking like that on the counter?? I said, excuse me??? I said, well, you don't have a bell, so how am I gonna get someone to know that I'm here?? he said "you should just be patient and somebody will be right with you... I said no one was acknowledging me and I've been knocking for about five minutes already.... He continued to blame me for my knocking and added, I was on my break and on a phone call I said "well how are theare the customers supposed to know that you're on your break?? and if the pharmacy is open in the store, then there should been attendant here at all times!!! Customers don't know you're on a break if you're behind the wall, they just want somebody to assist them!!! he proceeded to lecture me about knocking on the counter... My knocking was not that hard. It was just so that somebody can hear me if they were behind a wall or in a stockroom of some sort. I didn't mean any harm I just wanted to be assisted, he wouldn't let up on what he had to say, he was being very unprofessional on his part since he was working" no Customer wants to hear "I was on my break" and to blame the customer for trying to get someone's attention ?? There should be somebody at all times covering every department.; especially a Pharmacy. When I'm at my job, my customers don't want to hear that I was on my break. They expect me to be there just as I expect the people Ralph's pharmacy to be there for me!!! I hope he changes his attitude!!! I hope people read this and I hope that they don't go to Ralph's pharmacy for a prescription & to be assisted by a rude service clerk name, Juan C. read more

I don't see the point or ordering online for pick-up if the store is not willing to deliver my groceries to my car. I checked in, wait 15 minutes, then someone calls me to tell me they need me to pay in the store since I'm using the pandemic EBT. I advise the employee, I recently tested positive for covid & do not want to put anyone at risk. Long story short, they refused me my groceries and told me to order via Insta Cart. Or I can cancel my order and pay with my debit card. I offered to give ny debit card info via the phone since I had the Store Director on the phone, she again told me no. At this point, I was frustrated because now I have waited an additional 30 minutes for nothing. So I did tell her she was fucken useless because they were. How the hell am I supposed to feed my family? I then call back because I have a cousin who is not in my household who is willing to pick up the groceries for me. I spoke with the store management who again said they cannot allow my cousin to pick up my groceries because she's a relative & because I told the Store Director she was fucken useless. This is by far the most ridiculous management I've ever encountered. They are more concerned with their personal egos instead of trying to help a family with food to survive during the next 14 days. read more
