Convenient and has most things anyone would be looking for at a grocery store. The fresh daily taco meats and seafood in the meat and seafoodnis nice when it is all set out aroumd 10am each day. Deli is average but still decent. There is a Starbucks inside so that is convenient as well as a pharmacy. read more

I had to change my grocery shopping day to Tuesday. I know the manager and most of the check-out persons. I have had the check out person Marisol; on the self out assisting me (machine error). This was the first time at her checkout line. I tried to go to Sam's checkout but, I decided to stay. That was a big mistake. Instead of a warm greeting, she said something about a something ....???? I think she thought I was a person who picks up groceries and delivers to customers. I said, "I don't understand the question". She then asked if I had a Ralphs club card. I told her yes. She proceeded to ring up my groceries. There was NO SMILE, NO GREETING, NOTHING. As I walked down to put my club telephone number for my discount, Laura, the bag lady said hello. As Laura and Marisol continued bagging my groceries, there was silence. I was expecting her to tell me the total, she didn't. When the bagging was done she looked at me as if she was waiting for something. She says, "What does it say". She was referring to the payment machine. I told her it doesn't say anything. Shall I put my phone number in again. She said "No, no,no waving her hand. She said its waiting for a payment. At this point, she still has NOT told me the total. She reluctantly tells me total. I pay. She gives me the receipt and says thank you for shopping at Ralphs; that's the only part she got right. As I began to talk away, she greets the next person with a "HELLO!". Also a big smile. Maybe because she knew the next customer or whatever, I will NEVER go to her line again. When she talked to me, it was unpleseant. There was no hello, welcome, nothing. She NEVER told me the price of my purchases. The market is neat. Ambiance is nice and clean; that's why I shop at this location, however, I think shopping on Tuesday, late in the afternoon is not the best choice. read more

I have come to this Ralph's for many a year. The service is usually impeccable. Today not so. I was so insulted via the way the guy said to me that I could go to a register when I was at the self service was beyond my capacity. I controlled myself from spitting out 4 letter words and cursing the ground he walked on. There was so much noise so I had to speak up in order for him to hear me and yet he said I was screaming. So he kept at me and I tried to get a word in yet I couldn't. I shut up. Finished my self check up and left. Not only has that store lost a good customer but Ralph's has lost me. There are plenty of other markets out there. He should be working at the crematory or cemetery. read more

I am a very frequent shopper at this ralphs. I've been coming here for many years . Everytime I go there at night the bald guy that works self checkout is always rude , not only to me but to other customers as well. I've heard people ask him questions in a very polite manner and he is always condescending and rude. I've never heard him be nice to anyone. He shouldn't work in a position that has him interacting with customers. I always try my best to avoid him because of the way he acts. He is by far one of the worst people I have ever interacted with in customer service. I've also seen him trying to flirt with girls , making them uncomfortable. He talks a lot and can't properly perform his job.The store should reevaluate him as he doesn't have the proper training that is required for dealing with customers one on one . read more

The few times that I've visited this Ralph's, I've been consistently struck by the location's spacious cleanliness, well-organized departments ranging from bakery to butchery, and thoughtfully-merchandised products. The floral section stands as the best of any Ralph's I've visited, with attractive bouquets, potted orchids and other plants, and seasonal offerings. The deli/prepared food section offers fresh rotisserie and fried chickens, soups, Boar's Head and other deli meats and cheeses, and more ready-made dishes. The bakery features a smorgasbord of cakes in different flavors and sizes, including occasion sheet cakes and tiramisu handily portioned for 2-4 people, plus breads and pastries. The fresh fruits and vegetables, main grocery, frozen, and meat sections are great as well! PRO TIP: Did you know that most grocery stores have a clearance area(s)? The meat-on-sale (corner of meat aidle) and general sale (back of store) sections of this location rock! Sale sections are constantly changing and are great for trying out new products for a song, usually 50% off. Coppertone 6oz spray sunscreen for just $3.50? (Good-looking) steaks, chops, and/or roasts for half off? Day-old La Brea rosemary bread for $1.99, or store brand garlic bread for $0.99? A big jar of biodynamic organic tomato sauce for cheap? You got it! read more

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is my favorite supermarket ever. Sure, it's pretty normal. It's not like the market itself is that exceptional. But they have THE BEST STAFF that I have ever shopped with. The cashiers, the guards, the deli staff... everyone is so nice. Their hiring is very inclusive too. Huge compliments to both the store manager and the HR manager. I mean it... and I don't say this lightly. You're doing a great job and I love your store. Outside of this.. it's big, they have most things, the prices are fair, they're open late, parking is easy, and they often have great deals on beef. It's the only supermarket that I shop. read more

The worse worse deli department ever. I keep waiting for it to improve but it clearly will not. The employees that work in that area need serious training on how to be professional!!! They are so busy having their own personal convos that they don't even acknowledge the customers standing there. Today I stood there for 10 min only bc my son just had to have chicken tenders. The guy (Sean) walked back and fourth for a while and the. Just left. Finally another person came and helped us. Every time I come to this deli it's just an awful experience!!!! read more

I have shopped at Ralph' s Market around 10:00 in the morning a few times. Each time there are no checkers and I have to go through the self check. The helpers in the self check are always distressed themselves. Sometimes the self check machines are not working and I can't put many groceries on at one time. Last time I left my groceries and walked out. I will not be returning. Shopping does not have to be stressful. With one glaring exception this is a pretty good supermarket. Great selection, fair pricing and helpful employees. The one exception is a troubling employee in the produce department. I've seen this loose wire get into it with a few customers over the years, and I guess today was my turn. You'll know the guy by the mask he wears and the trays he tosses noisily around. Anyway today I was about three feet away from him reaching for some fruit when he started barking at me in what sounded like Russian, or some made up accent. I immediately told him I was going to speak to the manager, which I did. At checkout the lady I often go to told me the guy marches to his own drum. Only a matter of time before he goes too far. It won't stop me from shopping there but Ralphs should know, and I'm sure they did long ago, that there is a potential for danger in their produce area as long as this special case working there. If you shop there you'll want to steer scott free of him. Note: The nice manager called for the guy to her office right after I spoke to her. It's good to see they're aware of the issue. read more

I love love love coming here! Specially the pick up part that's been free since the pandemic. They always carry all items needed! Good experience ordering online for Pickup. Did a small order to try it out, just 9 items. Online pickup fee of $6.95 is waived at this time, so we didn't pay extra to have someone get items for us. You have to find a time slot that is open, then you select the items you want to buy. You can specify which items you will accept substitutes for. They didn't have 2 items that we designated as "no substitutes" so we did not get charged for them. They called when the order was ready, which was just before our time slot. The parking spaces for pickup are clearly marked. Just call when you arrive. We unlocked the trunk so we didn't have to get out of the car, and he came out and put our bags in. Items were in mostly decent shape, one box of chicken broth was intact but slightly dented, and the romaine looked fresh but had a couple of leaves with bruised edges. Not bad for not having to set foot in the store at all. Will try this again. Stay safe, everyone. read more

This Ralphs store in LA's south bay is not too different from any other Ralph's location in the vicinity. This place is big, clean, well-stocked, and run efficiently. I stopped by here to do some quick grocery shopping the other day. I was able to find what I needed in short order, and proceeded to check out. Fortunately, the checkout was quick, and I was on my way back home in no time. This is one of several good grocery options in the south bay. Even for a very picky person like myself, I can find what I need here. read more

I understand that work ethics are not the same these days. But it never fails at this store, and specifically, when you go to the deli, you are ignored by employees. They are most likely short staffed. However, they need to be trained on CUSTOMER SERVICE. They never acknowledge anyone standing there. They always prefer to chat to each other and continue tasking rather than helping a customer. It is a convince locaction to shop here, but going forward, they have basically finally lost our business. Today, yet another of many. I stand, I wait, I say hello... finally, she says, "Oh wait, I'll be a minute. Well, 5 minutes later, after her chat with another employee, she looks at me and walks out. I am not the o ly person that this always happens to. It's really pathetic that management won't teach customer service read more

Ugh. Where to start... this place has gone down hill in the past five years that I've been shopping here. Everything is now geared toward preventing theft rather than actually helping paying customers or creating a good shopping experience. You have to purchase toiletry items seperately-- there is a glassed off section and they make you pay there for some things and then you have to stand in a second line to pay for the rest of your groceries (because we all have plenty of time to do that). The produce is awful. It lasts about two days before going completely bad. Multiple times, I've picked up items that were expired but still on the shelves. The last few times I went, they didn't have everything (like phyllo dough, frozen hashbrowns, etc.) so I had to make a second trip somewhere else. Today, when I went, there were no plastic bags in the meat department so I had to go all the way back to produce to get bags to prevent contaminating the other items in my cart with leaky meat packages. And there are not enough people to help with all the new self check out lanes (but why should they care if it's inconvenient for customers as long as they save money on hiring an actual person, right?) It's really sad. Save yourself a trip and shop somewhere else. read more

I love Ralphs and their products but some of the employees could use a course in customer service. I was purchasing two bottles of bubbles that were 10/10 or1.00 each, the older white female cashier literally yelled at me and claimed I opened a package of bubbles and removed the two bottles I was buying. I explained there was a shelf full of them and what the sign said 10 for 10 and she proceeds to tell me no and that they were taken from a pack so I wasn't allowed to buy the bubbles. Kinda embarrassing but not worth arguing. I'll just get some at the store tomorrow. Just to make sure I wasnt losing my mind I went on my Ralphs app when I got home and there under bubbles are the same little sunny day bubbles I had tried to purchase 10 for 10. Maybe she should review product info?? Or maybe just be nice!? I'll keep shopping here but I hope not to get yelled at next time,I'm too sensitive. read more

I've been hesitant to like this place because I was forced to shop here by both grocery stores closest to me closing down. I know it's silly but I've been forced to learn a new layout and it's not as "easy" to find things because of that (not because the store doesn't make it easy - they do). But today was a true testament to how comfortable this store may become to me. EVERYONE was shopping. It's only the end of the year folks - not the end of time! Seriously only 2 carts were left at all in the pickup area. But the store never felt as cluttered and claustrophobic as the parking lot did! Sure it was busy, but the lines were fully staffed and still moved quickly, the stuff was being restocked as we shopped so nothing was out of stock. I even saw an employee from one of the old stores shopping there so if it's good enough for them, I'll adapt! read more

This Ralphs feels HUGE and seems to have everything, a good selection to choose from and is both well lit and clean. The parking is easy and spacious. The area is convenient, located near the South Bay Galleria with lots of stores and restaurants in the surrounding area. As an added bonus... GO GREEN!!! THE RECYCLING CENTER... This is a good location because they also have an adjacent recycling center for bottles, cans and plastic to redeem your CRV (the $0.05 surcharge you pay when you purchase your beverages you can get back here bringing your "empties"), or recycle by the pound (I speculate you get less if you recycle by the LB, but it also is a quicker process, so if the issue is "going green" VS recouping your "deposit" money back it's up to you). Sometimes the wait is long and the machines are down, so if you see there's a line, it's not uncommon to wait for more than 30 minutes, as there's quite a few folks who use recycling to supplement their income, and if you're feeling generous you can always donate your cans etc to them instead of waiting in line for few bucks as an option. You redeem the voucher they issue you at the recycling center inside of Ralphs and can even do it at the self-checkout kiosks. read more

I don't have anything wrong with Ralph's or Kroger. It's the insurance that covers their employees I've just learned about. Ralph's routinely uses a third party carrier who starves injured employees by not giving them disability, medical treatment, and harassed them back to work. If you are a friend to good people, don't shop at Ralph's as long as Sedgwick Corporation is used as an insurer. Look it up on YouTube or anywhere. They are truly evil. I live that Ralphs has implemented free pick up Service due to COVID. I work with the public all day and the last thing that I want to do is see more people. By Ralphs offering the free service I am able to do other errands that require me to actually visit a location. The people are always friendly and place your items in your vehicle without any type of contact. I was help by Cat today and I offered her a $5 tip and she kindle rejected stating the could not,.
