I didn't know Food 4 Less actually had a rotisserie chicken until they sent me an email asking me to come try it. I told them I would, but that I would have to rate it honestly as if I don't have my integrity, I have nothing. They didn't seem to like that. I made a quick LA trip to go to Disneyland with my cousins, so had to make a pit stop to rate this bird. A whole tissi ran $8.99 and it ended up landing at 5.8/10, which currently ranks it 65th out of 82 grocery store birds I've tried. It's one of the very few grocery stores I wouldn't mind going to in Santa Clarita. There are affordable produces with great selections. My initial visit to this location was to grab ingredients for jello and to my surprise, the amount of money it cost me wasn't much. The store is pretty clean and customer service is mediocre. read more

This store is my go to place for great prices on wine, beer, and premium liquor. They also have great prices on meat, seafood, produce and several other items. You do have to bag your own groceries, but get great deals on your stuff so that's OK with me. read more

The Food 4 Less cupcakes with real whipped cream (as opposed to the thicker buttermilk frosting) is very fresh and tasty. We celebrated Father's Day with Cupcakes and shared them with some other dad's too. This store has register receipts that you can barely see your purchased items. I have complained to the manager about this problem and was reassured that they would put more ink in their registers. But unfortunately that has never happened. This is one of the only stores that I shop at that doesn't care that their customers receipts are useless if you need to return an item or report a mistake on your receipt. I wanted to buy some sparkling h20. I asked the guy stocking if I could buy the item. He said he did not know the price. For 2 weeks I have come to this store and I see the item on the top shelf but there is no price nor can anyone reach it. I get the excuse there is no price we don't know what to charge. What???? I enjoy this location. Its really large, clean, has great affordable produce, and a large meat and seafood butchery. I've been to this location a couple of times. They usually have a good amount of lanes open, which means its not long lines (yay). Shelves are relatively stocked. I bought some fresh salmon and really loved it. I never give reviews but I had to share. I was in the area so I stopped at Food 4 Less on July 1st I was tired and had limited money but had to get a gift card. The lines were long but I waited they were going fast. The cashier Lovette told me about the rewards app and I could get 10.00 off my purchase. She was so patient . The manager helped me because Lovette explained to her I was trying to get the coupon. I am sharing this act of kindness because most of the time in the hood the cashiers are rude and don't care. They think everybody on food stamps so they just ring you up. The reason why I mention the hood is because whenever black or brown people shop and white peoples or people that are perceived to have money don't go then the service most of the time is bad. I was impressed ... I got a trader Joe experience at Food 4 less. read more

Great place to do your fruit and vegetable shopping! Tons of selection and the items are very fresh. They have nice prices also. The meat section is huge and generally a good offering. They have a huge bakery and dairy section! Nice selection of American and ethnic food choices. Employees are very helpful and this place is always crowded! read more

Short and sweet review. I like this Food 4 Less, it's got everything I need, prices are cheap! Aisles are wide, it's organized and it's by far one of the only ones (maybe there's one more location) that I can tolerate, as people are civilized who shop there and it's not Ghetto fabulous like the ones in the SGV. (And yeah, you'll get that one annoying customer whose loud mouth on their cell phone and everyone knows her business in entire store) but it's planet Earth, what can you do?? This is a discount grocery store, so the prices are low but they don't necessarily have the best stuff. However, quality is generally very good for a discount store. Stuff like meat, milk and produce is very fresh. The selection is mostly good, except for Asian foods which are relatively limited- they didn't have the Thai curry sauces I wanted, for instance. Great selection of Hispanic foods, and they actually had a greater variety of frozen fish than most Safeways do. The exact selection varies a lot from week to week though, as tends to be the case with discount stores. The only annoying thing is that they make you bag your own groceries- I don't mind doing that but they don't go out of their way to turn on the conveyor belt so you can bag them at the end of the check-out isle rather than awkwardly standing in the isle in everyone's way. read more

Food 4 Less is always good for cheap meats that are about to expire, nice deals and organized aisles... however I can never for the life of me figure out why they refuse to open up more than two registers, especially when the lines are so long they start going down the aisles. That should never happen. Every other grocery store has now installed self check out lines but Food 4 Less has yet to catch up with the times. read more

Today me and my husband went in for groceries, and once we paid my husband remembered he forgot the cabbage. So he went back and got cabbage but checked out through the express lane, we grabbed our other groceries and proceeded to the car. Once we got to the car the first initial cashier (Roberto G.) runs to our car asking my husband if he paid for the cabbage. Horrible Horrible customer service , we just spent $200 on groceries! Why would he steal a head of cabbage ? Was it because he's a young black male? This store needs to train its employees on customer service , last time ever shopping here. read more

This Food 4 Less deserves 4 stars. Their cheap bread is vegan. Hell yeah, 5 bucks 5 loaves. Score. It's low cost, and you get better than what you pay for I guess. They have bomb organic canned fruit you can't find a lot of places and it's very inexpensive compared to Whole Foods in El Segundo. I'm not sure if they have a bulk section. read more

They've remodeled and have since installed a meat dept. offering meat by the pound. About two weeks ago, I ordered a pound of chicken sausages and they were spoiled and smelled like ass. Apparently, they do not toss out the meat as often as they should. This is the Food 4 Less that I frequent the most; these grocery stores are never anything to brag about (besides the prices). Had it not been for this incident, I would of rated them 3 stars, though. Not bad, eh? With that said, I won't be hitting that meat case again...please believe it! Oh yeah, they have the worst looking fruit. I swear it looks like somebody tried to play softball with their apples. Definitely not the closest grocery store to me but it's down the street from the Costco I go to for my weekly gas fill up so I started knocking out groceries here to make it easy. Prices are definitely better than the Ladera Ralph's (my home grocery store) but I do wish they had a better selection of the more healthy foods. I've been going to fresh and easy to buy my supplies and maybe my bill will come out to $40, for maybe 3 or 4 days at the most of food. Now here is what I got at Food for less: 6 fiji apples, 3 cucumbers, 1 mango, 3 honeycrisp apples, 2 salmon filets, 2 cans of tuna, 2 bunches of celery, 1 bunch of radishes, 7 green bell peppers, 2 red bell peppers, 2 bags of carrots, and one coconut Guess how much... TWENTY-SEVEN DOLLARS. yes, i know. AMAZING! aandd its not gross wilted bruised produce either, its good quality! This place is huge and has soo many things! I think they get a lot of WIC and foodstamp paperwork, so they're just glad to have paper or plastic, you know. Pretty good butcher line. Soon as I get some money, though, I'll probably take it over to Ralph's on PCH to spend it. Food for Less makes me feel poor, and doesn't even give that much more value for your grocery dollar. Great deals on food, today I want to give a shout out to Thomas! I wasn't sure if his ringing lane was closed, he let me be his last person and rung up my groceries. Once I got to him I jokingly said "the only reason I came out tonight was to get celery but you guys are out" he called produce over the intercom and when they weren't responding he told me to give him two minutes and ran to the back. I really like this store especially since they redesigned and remodeled a bit. There is a bigger selection of fresh produce and herbs...I was particularly excited about the herbs. The remodel also came with a fresh seafood counter and deli counter. Fresh fish, cold cuts and cheeses are awesome! It's also in a shopping center near a lot of great stores so you could kill multiple birds with one stone if you're in the area. read more

This place has come a long way. When it first opened and it was open for 24hrs and before they remodeled the produce was old, moldy, and there were always a swarm of flies around. Since the remodel the produce is fresh and abundant and they always have great deals. The place is kept nice and clean at all times too. Love it here! read more
