Came tonight ordered an italian ice. It was completely freezer burned. Didn't taste good.

I really had the taste for a pineapple dole whip soft serve but I settled for the pineapple ice. I arrived and had to wait a bit for someone to assist me. Maybe they were super busy ( there was no one there besides me as a customer). I chose a size that I knew I could eat immediately. I asked for two flavors, pineapple and blood orange. They were good. Nothing compared to a dole whip though but pleasing. You can never go wrong with an icy or a slushee. I have been to Ralph's before just not this location. I may be back to see if service changes a bit. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had. read more

They're awful. Went at 9:40 when their hours state they close at 10:30. Man comes on the speaker says "What do you want" we ask for just a moment since we're ordering for four people. He responds come on man we gotta close. Will not give us time to order and keeps hassling us. We ask what comes on a certain sundae man says "i don't know man i don't work here." then why are you answering the speaker?? When we try to order a sundae he tells us they can not do any sundaes or milk shakes just the scoops of ice cream. We then ask about five flavors of ice cream and he angrily tells us each one they don't have. Finally settled on ice cream we didn't want when we should have just left. You don't close for another 50 minute. Insane attitude. Man should be fired. read more

The shake does not look like the picture last time it look like the picture this deserved a 3.5

This is just horrible the fact that I found a huge beetle in my pint of ice is totally unacceptable. How did they not see this thing ? It was right on top like a topping. The only explanation is that they did this on purpose its simply impossible not to see it read more

2/23/2023, I pull up to the window at 10:14 to order my ice and the girl said they were closed when on the website it says they close at 10:30 and she was extremely nasty. Customer service has always been 0/10 so I'm not surprised. read more

Make sure all your customers wear a mask especially when there is a long line and theres an entire family in the front with no masks on. It is a law to have a mask on the when 6ft social distance isn't available and also when you arent sitting on the benches eatting. This happened at 6:45am. Run your videos if you don't believe me. I went to ask for 2 icees and i forgot to mention that it was two orders. By the time we get to the window i tell the guy that i wanted to pay separate and instead of saying no politely or saying okay politely, he simply says "WOOOOOOOWW" and processes the payment. My friend and i were in shook of the nerve of this customer service. DONT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOUR GOAL IS TO NOT GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Anyways going back to the bayshore Ralphs. The ices are great! Although it seems as if this chain has popped up on every single corner! But the lines are always insane in the summer months. I have never eaten anything from the Nathans attached to this Ralphs. I believe the requirements to work there though are as follows :must be 16 and younger, must wear a ton of eye makeup, have not a clue what is going on and wear the Ralphs uniform without issue which consists of a tee shirt tied to the side to reveal your belly and hot shorts that barely cover your behind. read more

Just ordered no sugar added Java chip and mint chip, got home and it was vanilla chip. Disappointing....

Stopped in mid afternoon on Sunday. Not crowded and the girls behind the counter were quick in getting us our ice cream and ices. The water ices were great, the soft serve vanilla my daughter got was a little too soft out of the machine for my liking but she enjoyed it. Update: To add more to this review about the setting...the location is kinda run down. The parking lot needs to be re-paved, the glass door is cracked, a few of the tables outside don't have umbrella's so if sweltering hot summer day, its rough having to sit out under the sun. Today while the kids and I were eating our ices (at a table with a broken umbrella...at least there was one), the PVC gate out behind the store came crashing down. Clustered with a Nathan's in a parking lot along Commack Rd., this Ralph's totes the normal wares, dished out by the standard Ralph's teenagers. There's no shade whatsoever, and it isn't exactly serene, but plop down at one of the tables to enjoy your ice(s) before setting back out. Bottom line: Awesome ices, nice spot. This is probably one of my favorite ice cream places in town, I've come here for years. I usually have fast and friendly service every time. Unfortunately on May 23, 2019 at 9:51 PM, the three girls on shift gave major attitude and were very rude. I've worked in customer service for 6 years and I've never seen attitude like that. There were no problems at all, we were politely ordering our ice cream and it seemed like it was a huge problem. If I could give this place one star I would because of how bad the service was, but the ice cream itself is too good. For such a great place, you should hire more friendly and polite workers. read more

My favorite place to visit when I get home from California. The service is absolutely the worst. The young lady helping us was horrible. Asking us what we wanted then yawning after every order...really get some sleep or have a shot of espresso. Never smiled and her shorts well they where ridiculous. The place would be great (5 stars) if they set up the outside a little better. On a nice summer night there would be nothing better than sitting outside at a table with your ices and friends. Best spot for people with munchies because this location has the Italian ice right next the Nathan hot doga, but inside the kitchen they have 3 different menus Pizza, Nathan products, and Toxic Wings!!! The wings are the best I had the coco and the spicy and tangy it was great! I live in Queens and I come all the way out here for them. read more

Re-opened!! Ralphs' is the best. Friendly service and they always have all of the flavors in stock! Not to mention their ices are delicious as well as their sundaes! I usually get two ice flavors in one size (they can do two different flavors in a small or medium). read more

The reason I waited for 15 min in the drive through for 2 ices is just completely unexplainable! 4 young kids chit chatting and eating food right in the view of serving customers, ask where my ices are and no explanation. Ralph's is great. Nathan's is always good but the new pizza place is the best around. 99 cents for a slice can't beat it. The slices are huge hot and stay crusty on the bottom in the box when u bring it home. Doesn't get soft like everywhere else on take out. Best part is, its drive thru when you're really lazy. Hope this place keeps up the good pizza and doesn't cut corners like everywhere else. read more

This particular Ralph's delivers, and it took an hour and a half for them to come after they told me a half hour! Then when they came, all of the ices I ordered were completely melted. They said they would come back and bring me another one, but they never showed up after another hour. I will never be a customer there again!!! And their prices are ridiculous read more

I can't believe how poorly the management and employees treat the customers here. On several occasions my husband or I have been ignored when we've used the drive-thru (we've only gone back because we love ralph's ices so much). All they've said in the past is sorry, can I take your order? Never a thank you, hi, nothing friendly ever from these people. Today I was once again ignored in the drive thru and decided to just leave. The owner asked me as I was driving by if I was taken care of. I said, "NO..." and explained that if he didn't want to respond to the drive-thru he should put up a closed sign instead of making people just wait there. He said he was going to say 'ralphs please hold' but didn't want me to feel ignored...? Huh? He DID ignore me, he didn't say anything at all!!! He said he was busy serving people at the window. Fine, then don't have a drive-thru if you can't handle it. He offered to take my order and I said I just wanted to leave. He insisted on serving me, so I let him. So I get home and the sundae he gave me was bad- the ice cream was sour. VERY SOUR. So I called them and explained that their ice cream was bad and they should not be serving this to other people, it wasn't safe. The girl who answered the phone couldn't care less. She just said, okay, okay,... with such a bad attitude. Wow, I was so mad and taken aback. How can you not care that you're going to make people sick with your food? So I said okay, glad you care, thanks and was about to hang up when she said, yeah, bye, with the hugest attitude.
