I drove past this hotel a few times and noticed "Ralphie's Crossroads Cafe." It's not a traditional restaurant, but an outdoor experience. I parked at the hotel and made my way over for some food. There were two people ahead of me, while I waited. I looked at the incredible outdoor setting. There was seating and grass in view. While waiting more people jumped on line. I knew this was the right place. Once I got to the counter, I noticed how well the staff treated the customers. They were very friendly. I was to treated to the same courtesy. So I felt great about ordering. I asked for a burger and fries. They said they can do the burger, but they don't have fries. After looking over the menu, I decided on the potato salad instead of other items. I watched then make may burger fresh and top it with fresh vegetables. I was impressed with the size of the burger. Only one thing hurt during the payment. One, the price was a bit steep and two, the charge extra when you use a card. I figured with all the people here, the food was special, so I stopped my hesitation and paid. I'm glad I did! Potato salad is difficult to make at restaurants at times, however, here, they nailed it! I couldn't believe how good it was. I almost went for more, but I decided to pace myself. Next was the burger. I can report, it was better than any chain burger and definitely better than my little brother's BBQ burger (don't tell him I said that, he's sensitive). To describe it, the meat was juicy, the lettuce crispy, they put the right amount of seasonings and I wish I knew what kind of bun that was because it was delicious! I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this! Now, I have to come again. This place is worth the trip. But to the owners, can you consider adjusting the price? I'm asking for a friend.

Went yesterday with my son. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had a seafood salad that was on ice in the front and it had octopus, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. It was in olive oil and they gave us warm French bread to dip. My son had a steak sandwich which was filled with steak and peppers and onions and he loved it. I had the ahi tuna with wasabi sauce on top of a salad. Very delicious and very reasonably priced. I cannot wait until the lobster rolls come back in for the season. The gentleman said in a week or two.

If you are in Long Island you MUST seek this place out! Friend of mine and I were staying at hotel next door and kept seeing people visit this food truck in the adjacent parking lot. We ended up eating breakfast there the next morning and it was amazing! Ralphie, the owner was so friendly and he made everything to order. The 2 of us had a huge feast and it was so reasonably priced. We would have paid way more at any diner and not enjoyed the food nearly as much. Clearly this was the place to stop because everyone from construction workers to men in business suits were stopping for breakfast. And Ralphie knew them all! I wish we had been around to try lunch because the specials board looked incredible. We loved this place so much we had breakfast there the next day too. There is one picnic table next to food truck and Ralphie brought everything out to us and checked in on us regularly. Definitely not your normal Food Truck experience. I highly recommend when ordering let Ralphie make the decisions for you, he won't lead you astray! Next time I'm in the area I am absolutely going back!

Had to come and try one of their breakfast sandwich, Fresh Ham, egg and cheese on a fresh roll. Yes fresh ham, and it was very good. Almost missed it! The only thing that I wasn't impressed about was the Café con leche (Coffee). But other than I will be back for lunch.... Thanks Christina:)

Best part of my 4th of July weekend in the Hamptons was absolutely my roadside lunch at Ralphie's. Amazing.

"There's no good BBQ on Long Island," as quoted by Lou of his son, Josh, Founder of Blowin'…read moreSmoke... Until Now. As I craved BBQ for the umpteenth time, I was saddened by my past visits to those Long Island places that claimed bbq but were just neon lights or chain stores or just pure disappointments... and then saw a new place opened just a few months ago that was within striking distance. I couldn't resist - I had to try again... As you drive in, stay vigilant and make the correct turn - you might miss it if you go too fast on Jericho Turnpike. Drive straight down - your reward awaits you on the left. I was greeted by Lou, who runs Prime Time Butcher; he is Father to Josh of Blowin' Smoke. This is a family that knows quality meat - we are talking Generations of Butchers. As I waited for my order, Lou greeted customers that came in by name - they've been there before and he knew exactly what they wanted. (That's always a good sign.) Josh came out to greet me and apologized for the slight delay in my order. I came in on a Tuesday evening, missing the Pastrami days on Wed and Thurs, the Brisket of Fri, Sat, & Sun. So, I did what every other aficionado of BBQ would do - I ordered almost everything else to sample the range of the menu. As I left with my order, Lou asked for my honest appraisal and I promised him I would: Long Island has Good BBQ - and it can be found at Blowin' Smoke. Ask the toughest critics: my teenagers. They DEVOURED everything: pulled pork, St Louis ribs (both sauces), baby back ribs, chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, wings. They looked up and declared this was the best BBQ they've had in NY. And then they asked if we can go back again in the future - oh, yes, we will... My greatest compliment would be this: would I wear a tshirt and hat with the Blowin' Smoke logo on it? The answer is a resounding YES. (I just hope they don't do the stereotypical black color - this place is unlike any other and shouldn't look like everybody else...) Go get yourself some good BBQ at Blowin' Smoke - and make yourself happy that you did.

We started out ordering the impossible burgers and we were shocked at how delicious they were. Eventually, we just started ordering the regular burgers, I don't even care what's in them. They're so delicious and the sauce they put on it is epic. You have to dip your fries in it Another thing to mention is that the customer service is amazing. They are so friendly and attentive to whatever you need. I won't get a burger from anywhere else. I am a customer for life, even if that life is cut short from eating too many burgers here.

So before my boyfriend and I arrived, I made sure to check the menu and reviews and saw great reviews on their veggie burger and curly fries. My boyfriend and I got two very different meals but both were left very happy. I got the veggie smash with lettuce and tomato which was arguably the best burger I've ever had. My boyfriend said he has never seen me so quiet while eating but it was because I was savoring every bite. He got the chicken sandwich which he said had a nice kick. Finally, we both devoured the curly fries! For 30 something bucks for a dinner for 2, this place is one of the best deals in Huntington hands down. We will definitely be returning for more food and to try their shakes!
